For a guy that's never bothered to play the Hearthfire DLC that he's owned since it came out this was a riot.
Yeah, you gotta talk to someone who owns a lumbermill to get Sawn Logs. But there is some sort of story trigger related to Hearthfire that unlocks the ability to buy them, and I'm not sure if this mod enables that. Maybe. But then you can opt to just buy them or to saw them yourself, though sawing them yourself takes a while.
As for Quarried Stone, you can mine it in infinite quantities at little sites near every Hearthfire home location. Not sure if this mod added such a place near the Hall of the Vigilant, but it would be a major oversight if they didn't. Same with Clay.
O'course I made a mod ages ago for the original Skyrim that adds a lightning stream style spell with mining properties on every hit, and I've never bothered with a pickaxe since making it. Means I don't gotta carry around an extra item everywhere, and don't have to keep clicking since I just hold the button down and it rips everything out of the ground. Is a bit weird that it works on rock and clay (and stalhrim) too though, since I justified it as being like electromagnetism for RP purposes. BUT since the smithing mod I use has an option to give skill experience for mining, and it works with my spell, AND the rock and clay spots are infinite... I kinda get tempted into just using the spell constantly on the rocks and then selling them to get smithing experience and cash.
You are the reason I will play Skyrim VR one day. It looks absolutely brilliant
It's class. Word of warning though, vanilla Skyrim VR is uninspired. But if you have the patience to mod it it's well worth it.

@@Joov Same, the only VR game I've played. Standard advice applies, jump onto r/skyrimvr to get started as there's a lot of good advice on their that's very specific to the VR version of Skyrim. Best of luck on your VR adventure whenever you get round to it.

Thanks to the community at the Nexus page, and the Xbox uploader, "Stonespiral gaming", the Xbox version has now been updated to v1.2.1, which should mean that the guards will no longer agro/attack the guard dogs, etc.

So again, big thanks to the mods, uploaders and community for this mod.
Also, there's a (PC only?) mod that allows Keeper Calcette to survive AND another excellent mod (which is available on Xbox) that immersively revamps (no pun intended) the "Beacon of Stendar" (near the fast travel icon for the Dawnguard fortress, on the main Skyrim map). It's by "Arthmoor", I believe. He also made a Castle Volkihar Rebuilt mod, where you can repair the parts of the castle and staff it with Dawnguard. I also added a detachment of Vigilants in the North Tower, some Silver Hands, mages and monks throughout, plus sailors she merchants at the docks. With all of these mods combined, I feel that the Vigilants, Dawnguard and even the Silverhand might be starting to rebuild and evolve into a more enlightened, stronger, "forgiving/understanding" and coordinated group. Daedra beware!

Did you play it long enough to see any of the attack's and how they work - cos i was going to use this one, but did not fancy going away on a trip and coming back to it all burning down again cos the muppets could not defend it again with me not there.

Great stuff as always! Maybe at some point you can bring Captain Fannybones back, and make these one-shot characters the members of his crew. That way you have a backup plan if you have more save troubles, just in case. Oh, and is there really any question that the basement barracks are far superior to the regular ones?

I played skyrim vr once, I adore skyrim since this was the first game I ever played on console. I loved VR....for about an hour, then I had to go lay down so I didn't puke from motion sickness
