“A Cosby that can walk through walls is a straight horror movie” haha please keep making me laugh guys!!!!
That was hilarious I almost choked on my water watching that
That's definitely the joke of the video lol
15:07 “he always looks like a predator now, no matter what.”
“Cos he is one.” 😂
I screamed on the inside 😳
I can't lie I would watch that movie 🎥 like hell 😂😂😂😂
Bill Cosby as a ghost? This concept did NOT age well at all, and it didn't help that "Ghost" came out around the same time, and blew it to smithereens!
This family might as well had Patrick Swayze protecting them from Cosby.
I’d rather watch this over Ghost.
I hate the term age well. It was good for it's time
@@Latin-JReally? 😂 You Have To Watch Ghost & Ghost is a Classic Film By All Means.
What?! This is a classic!!
"I guess you can say, at the end of this, not a got damn thing was learned."
That summed it up perfectly.
Great comment 😅
I laughed soooo hard at this part 52:28 “baby!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shit killed me 😂 those bad ADR moments get me everytime.

"The worst Bill Cosby movie ever. "
Leonard Part 6 says hello.
That should be their next Bad Movie Roast
@@jadahayden1130I know right! I will pay to see that soon for their next roast!
@@kyliethelittlespider-mangirl94 Well. It happened.
Leonard Part 6 for the next Bad Movie Review.
Bill Cosby fighting giant lobster with melted butter. Riding an ostrich, no joke.
When he was promoting the movie on talk shows he would say “DONT WATCH THIS MOVIE! He was serious too he knew it was one of the worst movies ever.
Idk the movie fun tho 🤷 idk
It's coming this week!
Most people were cool with Bill Cosby until the allegations were made public. But I remember seeing Ghost Dad in the theater back in the day and I was done with Bill Cosby the moment it ended.
They’re ALLEGATIONS not proof! This movie is classic!!
I'm still cool with Cosby but I despise this bootlicker Korey Coleman
That 'Baby!' dubover at the end had me dying!!!
I still can't believe Sidney Poitier directed this film. How did he go from Mr. Tibbs to Ghost Dad?
It's even more baffling because his prior Cosby collaborations and STIR CRAZY showed us that Poitier knew how comedy is supposed to work. The man who directed GHOST DAD doesn't know how human beings work.
I have no clue how the legendary Sidney Poitier got roped into directing this misfire, but I presume that it was merely for the paycheck!
And his directing career was ruined because of this
I used to like this movie when I was a kid.
Bill was his boy. I watched this when I was 5 on tv 😂
The TV edit dude said "Put the broad on the phone!??"😂
20:09 "Worship him? I am Satan." - Bill Cosby
Ghost Dad and Leonard Part 6 were Cosby's Love Guru and Cat in the Hat.
The daughter from Head of the Class?! Omar Gooding as the nosy neighbor. Lol
Not the host of Wild-N-Crazy Kids !
An hour long bad movie review of a bill Cosby movie? Its not my birthday but thank yall for this gift.
My family rented this all the time when I was a child and I remember liking it back then, so I didn't know this was a cinematic flop until I was an adult. And I get why people don't like it, but I have to admit I still have a soft spot for this movie, but I look forward to seeing the DT crew rip it apart never the less.
took the words right out of my mouth
thank you!
@@ARTBYPHANNY You're welcome.
@@ARTBYPHANNYit's a great movie
This definitely ripped off Beetlejuice. How Cosby's character "Dies" is exactly how the couple played by Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin died. Their car fell off a bridge and landed in water. I think the hope was Cosby's star power would make this film a box officer hit and prove to audiences that he could give a comical dead guy character performance that would rival Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice. You could argue that Ghost Dad was setup to be the black version of Beetlejuice. Unfortunately, this move is not even close to being as brilliant as Beetlejuice which actually had a well-written script and presented more than just an opportunity for Michael Keaton to showcase his comedic genius.
Ghost Dad is weak when it comes to the script and it ends up being reduced to 1 hr and 23 mins of Bill Cosby going out of his way to show how funny he is. While Cosby's style of comedy might have worked 30+ years ago it has aged poorly not to mention the Pill Cosby scandal which further renders his performance in this film cringe at best.
Your right about the car drowning scene it does look very similar 😮! It's been years since I've watched Beetlejuice, but it's definitely a lot better than this movie.
From what I'm seeing of it so far. I've never had the misfortune of watching Ghost Dad back in the day. Even though I grew up through the 90s I'm only learning about this movie's existence now.
I remember as a kid, the previews just looked so funny.
Watched it again many years later, and realized how the marketing department had pulled me in.
A Ghostly Bill Cosby who can only be seen in the Dark is an absolutely terrifying thought.(also shout out to Billy mentioning Doctor Ned)
Has anyone seen the deleted scenes where roofies are seen levitating in mid air?
Smh i shouldnt have laughed at the played bill cosby jokes....but i did
LOL 😂😂😂
@@wallcity318 The jokes might be tired, so we better keep them away from Cosby
@@eddiedingle767 About as tired as we'll feel after Cosby offers us a drink.
Lame.
Poitier did direct Stir Crazy. The best of the Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor team-up.
The studios must've had their tentacles all over this movie because Stir Crazy is a classic.
Me and brother love watching those old Sidney and bill movies. We watch atleast one every year.
To me this movie holds a special place in my heart because it was first introduction to bill Cosby. But now I just look at this movie with shame
I hate that feeling
@@filminspector6775 ikr, it feels weird watching him in movies or his old TV shows knowing his history nowadays
For me, it was Little Bill. I saw him as the old guy with the red cap on. I thought he was some lovable goof that had an incredible story about being involved in the civil rights movement, serving as an educator on children’s shows, performing on stage and on the big screen, making black cartoons, I mean, to me, his portrayal of black characters, were exactly how my preschool counselors were with me all the time. It was very amazing to me how accurate and visually cute it was.
Now hearing of these allegations, it’s just so heartbreaking knowing that God could’ve created a Cliff Huxtable with Bill Cosby’s name. Imagine how cool that would be. Quite disappointing and disheartening.
22:05 Billy had me dying with this comment
Rest In Peace Sidney Poitier.
Rest In Peace everyone’s good, fond memories of bill Cosby.
I still have great memories of Cosby. I don't trust these hoes.
I swear this channel is so underrated. You guys have the best reactions 🤣🤣💀
Stop saying “underrated”
@@CinematicMaj No
I feel like Ghost Dad would have had a review already. This should he fun.
27:52 my first thought was the Shooting Stars meme 😂
The cabbie was played by Raynor Schiene (rain or shine).
He was on the cosby show episode where Denise and Olivia babysat Sondra's twins.
B for Bob, beeswax, blackout, bye-bye!😂😂😂😂
That's crazy I still love that episode it's the most memorable IMO 😂😂😂
I remember the cake top hat scene when I was a kid thinking that was the most cleaver shit I ever seen back then. Watching it now and I’m like damn was I a dumb ass kid!! Fuck! 😂😂
Same😭
To this day I still don’t understand how the Cosby Show was as good as it was while all the Bill Cosby movies were so bad.
The show had better direction and storytelling. Kind of how shows are better storywise than movies now days.
It's all about the writers.
killer: "any last words?"
Cosby: "PLAYTIIIME"
😭😭😭😭😂😂😂
Holy shit! A hour long bad movie review?
(Grabs some popcorn & Mountain Dew.)
Chunky butt. But I respect it
We need more hour long bad movie reviews
We also need to know when that one Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie review will be posted to UA-cam!
Since Korey did say that was one of the upcoming B.M.R videos and had a video on it on Twich.
But what do I know.
@@dylansmith5206 it probably never will at this point
Or maybe they should just stop cutting them in half.
52:26 "Baby" LMFAO!!
😂😂😂
Bill Cosby doesn’t have to be a ghost to be scary lmao
They definitely can do reboot of ghost dad. Peter Jackson, Guillermo del toro, Jordan Peele & Nia dacosta could add something new to this story. There is a good premise if it was more horror then comedy.
Absolutely & I Wanna See a New Reboot Ghost Dad Movie
@lenindominguez1986 Hollywood only reboots successful films not movies with good ideas and bad execution. Which is why Hollywood sucks when it comes to reboots
That “baby” line 😂😂
I gotta say that scene with the cab driver probably my favorite part the way his cigarette fell with him screaming 💀
I remember seeing this movie on tv when I was 15 back in 2010, and didn’t know anything about it or heard of it. I saw it, and didn’t think it was that great
It’s for little kids. I watched it on tv back in the mid 90’s and I liked it.
@@Latin-J Same here I watched it when I was a kid several times thought it was hilarious I wouldn't have mind a whole TV show about it but basically that would be quantum leap
its for us 90s kids lol
Korey needs to keep these videos coming because his sense of humor will always get to me ❤❤🤣🤣🤣
I know he was a total legend but the first thing I thought of when Sidney Potier died was 'Ghost Dad'!😂😂😂
It's ok, everytime people talk about Sean Connery, I still visualize him in that red domminatrix swimsuit with thigh high boots. Look it up lol.

52:28 "Baby!" Funniest moment.
I watched this live but had to re-watch it because it's so funny. I laughed so much during that "My Baby" part. 52:54.
This movie would've made a lot more sense if they dropped the ghost angle and made an Invisible Man comedy instead.
I loved this movie, as a kid..
The 90's were full of these so bad, they're good types.
The only thing I remember about this movie is the use of the Tangerine Dream's score of Sorcerer.
Yes, I noticed the same thing in my review of the movie! I adore that movie and soundtrack, so hearing it used in a fucking Bill Cosby family comedy blew my mind.
46:56 LMFAO
A hat with shaving cream lol 😂
Lmfao Cosby walking through walls and dropping pills lmao! Billy: "plop, plop, plop,"
Nostalgia Critic’s review for this movie is so good. It rips this film to shreds.
Agreed, that review is one of my favourites, and I still come back to view it every so often, especially the jokes!
And that was before...everything
That review lives rent free in my mind on an almost daily basis. It's that hilarious. Had he done more bad cosby flicks it would have been the Madea to his Brad Jones
Loved the horror trailer recut in it.
It’s still one of my favorite video from him.
it is amazing, that if you're from a certain time growing up, some parents would let you listen to Cosby, and not Richard Pryor. Later on, Cosby would be the worst thing moving. Pryor, looked up to Cosby for the longest time. Cosby turned down being in Harlem Nights, to do Ghost Dad.
Music from the cab driver scene (20:00 in) is from William Friedkin’s Sorcerer.
There is smooth. And then, there's Cosby-smooth~
15:41 Okay I respect the hell out of this advertisement segway.
Let's go! Bring on the Cosby jokes, I got my burger, my fries and my cherry Pepsi to enjoy looking at this roast.
I loved this movie as a kid. I still do. Thanks for reviewing this. Gonna rewatch tonight!
28:00 now we know where the Sonic 2006 glitch was inspired from!
Lmfao. 38:27 - 38:53 Broke me. "Raping that skeleton" and "ghost dick" are not two phrases I expected to hear today.
Horror Cosby is reminding me of JDs Revenge.
I actually remember watching this in the theaters with my mom, dad, and sister. We all watched the Cosby Show. I listened to his stand ups on tape. Mannn.......
What happens with the daughter is similar to what happens with Bill Pullman in Casper. Man, that's a movie you guys needs to cover. It is such a bizarre, "who the fuck was this made for" type of film.
Yeah true
i totally agree with your assessment, but there was a particular subgenre of girl that was OBSESSED with the live action Casper, and I don't understand it either.
I remember watching this on vhs not long after The Cosby Show’s final episode and being so confused about why I loved the show but found this movie disturbing😂
I have only vague recollections of the show from when I was a kid, and it stands out in my mind as having been more than a bit cornball (it was Father Knows Best for the '80s and early '90s), even though at the time it was often regarded by critics as groundbreaking simply for its showing a normal, well-adjusted, upper-middle-class black family. (The fact this was considered even notable says a lot about the way black characters were typically depicted on screen at the time.) I did later gain an appreciation for Cosby's work in standup, but long before the revelations about him which destroyed his reputation as some kind of moral exemplar, he gained a reputation for doing awesomely terrible movies like this and Leonard Part 6. These didn't cause audiences to dislike him at the time, but I think it did make people more likely to question his talent (somewhat unfairly in my view, because he was a genuinely talented and influential comedian). I remember when I saw him in Jack (a truly horrid film that I don't think is even in the so-bad-it's-good category, it's just plain bad), I thought to myself that there was just something about him that was put-off-ish whenever he appeared in movies, even though I never had that feeling watching him on his sitcom.
Korey you know how I pick music apart. That opening sounds like an Unsolved Mysteries theme ripoff!!
i grew up loving this movie as a kid, but now i agree its pretty damn creepy now lol
No one knows anything for a fact *shrugs* it’s a funny movie xD
"It isn't a Gucci! It's an imitation!" 21:46

Ghost Dad - The film that killed Bill Cosby’s career
There's a lot more that killed his career my friend 😏
Which is really saying something since Leonard Part 6 was released three years before this film.
@@darksamuraidmt98 I have no idea what you're talking about. 😜😜
His career is almost as dead now as he was in this film!
Forunately, that would be the worst thing that ever happened to Bill Cosby's career and reputation.
I love how much time they spend on that 'gat dang birthday cake hat 😂😂
29:41 It's like the writers were playing that fill in the blank game.
Sidney Poitier directed this mess?
Y'all should do blank man or Meteor Man
The fall down the stairs was classic too lol
Arnold Stang, the actor playing the old guy, was a famous comic actor back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. He was also a voice in lots of cartoons. He's in a great scene of 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" with Johnathan Winters.
Was he one of the mechanics?
@@CEWIII9873 Yes, the skinny one in glasses.
He was also in Dennis the Menace as the photographer for the infamous chiclet teeth scene 😂
Yeah I think he voiced a few characters in the Popeye cartoons
he was also in top cat
Bad Movie Review? 1 hour long? (Rushes away to prepare some snacks)
When Corey said "Do you want to be smooth", I was waiting for him to add "Just get yourself some Toasted goodness, the black T" lol but we got Hello Fresh instead.
Leonard Part 6 should be the next DT Bad Movie review! Ghost Dad is terrible but Leonard Part 6 almost legit turned Bill Cosby’s career into a ghost 😬
yall should review Let's Do It Again, we need to show people this classic in its glory.
i love the "Put the Bitch on" scene. even if you are an idiot "bad boy" i assume you wouldnt talk that way about the girl you are dating ESPECIALLY when talking to her father
Bro was comic book levels of bad boy.
11:20 I'm looking at a whole other cake. That boo-boo boooooty 👻
Lol come on ghost dad is a throwback classic. Maybe I'm biased but it was great when I was little lol
You know it's a good bad movie roast if it's an hour long
I used to think that Ghost Dad came out as a spoof of Ghost. Happens that Ghost Dad came out weeks before Ghost. Interesting...
Hollywood always working in conjunction with each other
I always loved this movie. I still do despite Colby’s troubles.
Lol love how Cosby's knees meet the carpet
Beetlejuice was 1988. Ghost Dad is from 1990. This movie steals a lot from BJ. Including how he dies when a car falls off a damn bridge.
Best thing about the movie is the Gladys Knight song at the end credits
I thought it was just me and my mom one who were the only ones that saw this when I was a kid growing up 😂😂😂 I loved this movie. Still do actually. Just haven’t seen in a while.
Leonard pt 6 is the one....
Talk about over acting on Bill Cosby part the absolute worst movie for 1990. Gene Siskel said it best it was bad from the first frame.
I love NC’s review of this btw
She fell down those stairs so hard her soul hit the emergency parachute 🪂
I hope you roast an Uwe Boll movie
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I laughed out loud.
Watching from New Zealand--you've got a new subscriber! Great stuff.
I understand I didn't grow up during Cosbys heyday being a stand up comic or on television with the show. But I simply never got his style of comedy.

This movie was so all over the place, Sidney Poitier definitely made a mistake making this movie, could have been something emotional with a little bit of funny on the side.
