RIP Raymond Briggs 😢✝️👼🏽🙏😇
Loved his books as a child in the 1970s.
His work was incredible. His books fired my interest in reading as a kid in the 1970's. I loved the Father Christmas books and later When The Wind Blows as a teenager. A brilliant, authentic artist and author. Thank you for all the amazing books Raymond.
Loved this book Father Christmas..and When The Wind Blows..hilarious
R.I.P and thank you xxx
Viva a ARTE!
Tambem assisti Ethel & Ernest. Gostei tanto!
Love this man
Any chance of getting a higher-quality version of this uploaded, please?
If you only take one thing from this interview: Boglet, an 18th century word for handkerchief.
Sounds to me like he said 'muckend'. "It's appropriate because that's where all the muck ends up"
@@joeakajoe1 while he did say the word boglet, it is indeed muckend which he explained is the word for a hankie. We just read Beatrix Potter's Miss Tiggy-Winkle story to our kids, and in it she used the word handkin for the same article, so it looks like handkerchief changed its name quite a bit over the years.
Appalling sound on this 🤓
Lyrics - Walking in the Air - Song by Howard Blake - - - - - We're walking in the air - We're floating in the moonlit sky - The people far below are sleeping as we fly - I'm holding very tight - I'm riding in the midnight blue - I'm finding I can fly so high above with you - Far across the world - The villages go by like dreams - The rivers and the hills - The forests and the streams - Children gaze open mouth - Taken by surprise - Nobody down below believes their eyes - We're surfing in the air - We're swimming in the frozen sky - We're drifting over icy - Mountains floating by - Suddenly swooping low on an ocean deep - Arousing of a mighty monster from its sleep - We're walking in the air - We're dancing in the midnight sky - And everyone who sees us greets us as we fly - - - - Songwriters: Howard David Blake - Available on - iHeartRadio - Spotify - UA-cam Music - Artist: Howard Blake - Album: The Snowman - Released: 1983 - Genres: Children's music, Pop - Other recordings of this song - Walking In The Air - André Rieu · 2012 - Walking In the Air - Aled Jones · 1985 - Walking in the Air - Celtic Woman · 2011 - - -

Could barely hear him, sound way too low.
Well it is probably over 40 years old.
@@hasbook7156 Age has nothing to do with film sound, ignoramus
God loved the world so much He gave His only Son that whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Sorry for your loss. God loves everyone.
