    Great video guys. I put a Leatherman Renegade solo saddle on my 2014 last year, made a huge difference over the stock. Especially like the Locktite on the counter shaft nut and the torquing of all essential bolts.

    Congrats! One of the best motorcycles ever made. Truly the Goldilocks of motorcycles 👍

    The strip of foam was only needed on the right side of the Speedo cover.

    Awesome vid guys, .... but you forgot to include the " Straight-ahead" fork compression press with about 20 ft lbs torque on the fork clamps to align the front tire true-straight..and then tighten the forks to spec and test ride..... ( or you did that and did not film it)..... If so my bad, no worries, I missed it , ...
    Stay Safe

    Awesome, guys. I'm looking at downsizing from my Vulcan 1600 Classic---great bike but getting heavy for me as I age. ...been looking at the 950 Tourer for a couple of years; also considering the Sportster 1200 Low because I've always wanted a Harley. So, if I do the Yamaha, can I send to you guys to do your thing? Smile. Also, the resolution on your camera is outstanding. Thanks for sharing. Safe & fun riding.

      Yamaha Turer is extremely realiable bike and east to work on, also the insurance is cheaper since it is a 950cc

      @@weron021 Many thanks. It is a blessing that you and your friends have the skills, talent, and tools to do your own work...no doubt that kind of servicing would cost at least $2k...if a shop could be trusted to do the work. Take care...be well.

      @@powerforward1955 I had bad expiriance with the motorcycle shops and I have decided to learn all of this. Now I am saving many thousands of dollars.

      @@weron021 To learn all of that is awesome! Not all bike shops are bad, but it's a roll of the dice going to one. ...even the dealers take shortcuts and don't want to accept responsibility for their work. No doubt bikers are standing in line for your thorough work. Be well.

    Hi, my wife owns a 2014 tourer... bought it last year in North Bay, On. I was just wondering why you marked and indented the nut around the pulley? thanks and great vid!

    • @weron021
      @weron021  2 роки тому +2

      Some times those nuts come loose and you need to check them often, and this is a quick reference to me if everything is lined up than we are good to go if not you have to readjust

      @@weron021 oh, ok.... good to know. I didn't know they loosen up. Might have to look into that. So, once you tighten it up and place a mark, how long after should you check?

      I check it every time going on a long trip or two times a year

    What that "music" for, to demonstrate what real hard men you are? Rather than explain what you were doing, then we might have learnt something.
