Ironically Despia had a much easier time dealing with Numeron and especially with Megaclops specifically before Branded Fusion. Theater of the Branded and Branded in Red don't lock you into Fusions like BF does so you'd often see them tech in Dingirsu or a Numeron Dragon package.
@@DarkeLourd yeah in a side sidedeck thats a thing, in ladder most of the players will not run dingirisu and the numeron dragon is strong but you have to make space for three cards
I'm kinda just staring in disbelief at how Sphere Mode survives the turn. Did the Mirrorjade dragon's release just change how that archetype's run to the point that they don't even have an out to it anymore, or have most of the playerbase forgotten it exists?

The extra deck is super tight to play a xyz plus Zeus, you could possibly take 1 chimera out and 1 masquerade but it's a too niche situation not that worth it
Bro my favorite deck rn is a branded predaplant plant deck and it’s a struggle to build that extra deck. All the fun predaplant boss monsters plus branded/ despia is like trying to stuff a suitcase 🤣

Branded Despia player was bad in that sense. Brightest, Blazing, Branded King is literally a Branden trap card that would negate its effect. They could have Mirrorjade'd it then. Or just run Dark Ruler No More in your deck or sth
Y know a good counter to despia and bra ded fusion is.....skill drain unfortunetly we can use only 1 and the changes of getting that in your had every time you face despia is low.

Comedy can save your aluber and lubellion/albion(if its in your gy by tributing the fusion mons) from target negated. It's pretty situational but sometime can help you to keep doing combo without interruption.

You see, a REAL branded despia player would’ve seen to fuse into starving venom again with mirror jade and kitt on turn 11 against the link 3 to steal its attack and obliterate the rest of their life points. Unfortunately, those fakers are too stupid to realize it and go for chimera all the time. I’m really tired of people copying the deck I’ve used months before it was in master duel. And I never play it because it’s meta. Love the deck and story, and don’t just do it for cheap wins. Hope the new pack makes it less frequent. Shoutouts to real players of despia who share my sentiments
