“We are not leaving the stadium until surface #14 is put back in the cart”
underrated comment
Yeah.
Boi soooooo true 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣 hilarious!!! Caught me off guard really lol
lmfao
Imagine getting “Working on update, Do not turn off computer” message, at around 2 min warning in the 4th quarter.
NFL and Microsoft: 😁
Bill Belichick: 🤨🤬
He hates that shit!!!
My favorite part is when they talk about how you can zoom in and zoom out on a tablet for 30 seconds. 7:20
and how herb was like "iT's ReAlY hIgH dEfInItIoN"
Well it's a groundbreaking technology, they need to emphasize and explain it so that everybody understands it.
It’s crazy how much technology has evolved in the NFL yet no one can stop Tom Brady from making the Super Bowl every year
I mean he's adapting as well
It’s called cheating And the dude didn’t win a Super Bowl for 10 years at one point
@@nyg_dbone what are you saying? He did make it just didnt win in 10 yrs
@@MrBongu He didn’t win from 2005-2014 won in 04 and won 2014
I know all about 07 and 11
Yet y'all still use a damn index card to figure out first downs...
Fr 😔
Did i really just waste 12 minutes of my life watching a Microsoft ad?
sorta lol
@@acefrost1535 whats the problem?
@@konvictionXX huh?
Didn’t feel as tho it was a waste, quite informative if you ask me
I mean there wasn’t much history to really go further. It was a good clip of showing how it was done back then
Anyone remember Aaron Rodgers throwing one of these down in frustration after throwing a pick against the Panthers?
Yes and bill belichick
Damn that was in 2015
Or when one of the announcers called it an iPad
@@konvictionXX time flies
@The Shield yes I remember tha wait a second
As a programmer, I am really curious how they categorized those photos into different profiles and how they filtered those photos into pre-snap and post-snap, the easy way or the expensive way.
I wonder how much money Microsoft paid for this commercial
I wonder how much money the NFL paid for this commercial
your data
Microsoft is a sponsor of the nfl they already pay over $100 million a year, so they won’t need to pay extra for a UA-cam video
Who cares, they fixed their junk.
i wonder how much my mother loves me
I always thought ppl are just playing Madden on the sideline just for fun or just to simulate the game that is going on. Then make calls based on that
😂
probably what the jags did this year😂😂
This comment is next level
I always thought they were watching a video of the play...
Exactly! When I see them with the tablets all the time, I automatically assumed they are reviewing the video playbacks. Now this video tells me how great the technology of looking at photos is, yet I am underwhelmed they are only photos.
bruh when we gettin' the sideline microsoft surface in stores lmao
Please make the All 22 camera accessible to all, not just coaches
It is available to anyone, unfortunately you have to pay for it on nfl game pass
I want to see the oline play
Wait, can they only see pictures? I’ve always thought they could watch videos
Video footage on the sideline isn't allowed by the NFL
@@jaypatel5985 Thanks, I didn’t know that 👍🏽
@@jaypatel5985 do you know why?
@@whiskerswow1529 the feature is too OP and have a high chance to be exposed
It’s not a matter of league rules. It comes down to wireless bandwidth. Video was/is part of the plan, and was even tried one preseason, but there was too much signal congestion to work consistently.
Every time I see coaches and players using one of those Microsoft surface tablets I think about when Johnny Manziel repeatedly smashed one over his forehead ;)
It's a product management masterclass! Well done James Bernstrom and your team.
This video was great! Very informative. Thanks!
This is actually really f'n cool. Thanks for sharing this.
The problem with the NFL's system is individual teams are not allowed to install their custom apps on the tablet. To this day, you see coaches with big play calling sheets that are double sides and color coded. They use a marker to note when and how many times they ran the play. It's so inefficient. It would be much better to have the playbook on the device and shortcuts to "what plays are best in this situation" as defined in advance by the coaching staff. Or, hey, their starting safety just got injured, what plays to we have to specifically target the weaknesses of this particular backup safety?
That Microsoft guy has a SICK mullet
The Microsoft dude is rocking some serious mullet
Always wondered how this worked. Really cool to see the behind-the-scenes technology involved in our favorite sport.
Lies again? Fujitsu Laptop
I thought they got to earn the tablet to play games on it if they did good
Ahhhhhahahahaha, nice, well played
so basically those Surface tablets are built to MIL-STD-810 standards. The ability to work within 110°F heat to rain, sleet, snow as low as -10°F temps while also being waterproof... yep.
The NBA needs to have multiple channel's like the NFL that produces this great content
As an MIS major and avid football fan, this seems like the dream job for me
Mind boggling they show Baker Mayfield’s cadence on a Seahawks Dallas game
20 bucks say the patriots use an eye tracking feature for the other teams microsoft playbook
That explains why they were so unstoppable this year.
Imagine if some of the records or advancements that could have been made if technology like this was available in different times in the NFL
Awesome insights! 👌
a ad to sell tablets but at the end you don't get the waterproof and heat treatment lmao. m$ always find ways to screw up.
Tech and football
My life can't get better
Wow. The really love that pinch to zoom feature. Lol
I think I just watched a 12 minute ad for a Microsoft Surface... And I actually enjoyed it?
Technology at its finest wonder what’ll happen in 15-25 years into the future
i would pay for a subscription to be able to click through those while watching the game at home. Kinda like the nascar ones at the track.
James Bernstorm with a stellar mullet.
coolest Microsoft ad I seen
Thats dope
Hey Matt. Did the Microsoft surface tell you to kick and field goal down 8 on 4th and goal in a conference finals.
No but it was on the screen and he didn't have time to unselect and tap the one he meant to.
billichick loved the microsoft surface
Can we please talk about that Microsoft guy’s mullet? 🤣🤣
So freaking cool
Ooohhh, I thought they got a whole video, not just photos😗😗😗
me too
Video footage on the sideline isn't allowed by the NFL
@@jaypatel5985 can you explain why please
spygate
this wasnt a modernization it was a revolutionary update
I had no idea coaching was that hard
I want to see them talk to bill belichick
4:55 okay wtf is that hair style 😭
I have never seen a video that made me feel like it’s super advanced and also will be outdated in 5 years when they are able to render full clips of video footage and pictures.
They already can, the NFL just doesn't permit it yet. Look at baseball, MLB players use these same tablets to watch their swings between at-bats.
Damn they should've showed clips of bill belichick throwing them
So that dudes mullet is the text book business in the front party in the back
high def - looks at blurry picture
They should use this in hockey
They probably do. But strategy-wise hockey is a different game.
WOW A TABLET WITH AN APP INSTALED, CRAZY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those iPads look dope.
I just watched a 12 minute microsoft ad...
now the players can play RAID: Shadow Legends between drives
What a mullet lol
Nice Microsoft ad makes me want to get an Xbox
Nice NFL ad makes me want to watch the Super Bowl
Since UA-cam isn't going to do it:
"Includes paid promotion"
Didn’t know I was in for a Microsoft ad when I clicked on this
The Microsoft dudes mullet tho
Cool
I’ve yet to see Brian Flores holding a tablet in-game
Dope
"This video paid for by Microsoft."
Crazy how you can zoom in
Amazing how good the Rams offense and Ravens defense were in the early 2000s without this technology. Imagine how much better they would’ve been.
I wonder if someone has ever tried to hack the server from the stadium on game day to download the opposing players coach favorites
bruh
Evolution of sideline technology minus the play calling
And the 43 year old QB might be the most prolific user of all this amazing technology.................
Wait.. what company build those tablets again? i didn't get it...
No Belichek footage? He's a fan
This video is just proof that football is half strategy, half physical
This is amazing for the sport.
Where auto tune made everyone a singer, this tech makes everyone a pro baller.
No Browns fan likes the chiefs reffing after the divisional game. GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
0:10 Throw it on a dime
One quarterback shown and it’s the one who destroyed their head
please make this available to fans for a paid subscription some how
This is some high-tech stuff, if i was the NFL I would just hook up like 50 different ipads and just click record and when its done you can just look at it like normal, but thats the cheap way
so much technology and you guys still couldnt tell the targeting hit in chiefs vs browns
Just watched a 13 minute Microsoft ad for free smh
juju probably has tried to download tiktok hahaha
Why not video though? Just images?
imagine how much better the NFL would be if they had iPads
3:49 I am sure that guy James Bernstrom is very wealthy and smart, but his haircut...I mean this guy works for microsoft?
Dang, I like Herbert now.
shut up matt, shoulda gave it to A-rod on that forth down man let the MVP do his magic!
Can Jordan’s hands are insanely large
They spent 12 min pretty much explaining a tablet lol
“-Evolution- -of- -NFL- -Sideline- -Technology-“
“Shameless 12 Minute Microsoft Commercial for Shitty Tablets”
I fixed it!!!!!
But we still measuring a 10-yard first down with 9.8-10.2 yards long chains.
Soooo any bets on how much Microsoft paid for this 10 minute infomercial on the Surface Pro?? 😆
Nice Microsoft ad
Nice NFL ad
can't survive the wrath of Tom Brady, 0/10
This whole video is a Microsoft commercial lol
This is an advertisement for Microsoft more than an evolution of sideline tech, lol
Isn't it ironic to show a scene where Rodgers is thanked to have done exactly what they told him?! We have seen where that leads in the last game... Kick it ^^
