Please keep fighting for us. It's hardcore here in Toronto, Canada. But watching the Doc and what 56 Dean is doing over there was a breathe of fresh air over here. Keep fighting. Thankyou.
@@DavidStuartChemsex I use this conference and others to write this articule for a psychoactive magazine from Argentina. It's in spanish of course, but I left you the link anyway. Thanks for your transmission. www.revistamate.com.ar/2020/10/chemsex-la-sinergia-entre-el-sexo-y-las-drogas/
In Overland Park,KS, l was part of a group of concerned persons who began an outreach program for MSM, all married. They go online search for Men's parties. Men would log-on, and when their wife would be out of town for a weekend, they would open the house and have sex, 24/7 . Using Crystal Meth, the men don't need food and stay up for the weekend, and have multiple sex partners. It's a tragic situation, married men putting sex life ahead of their mates, and their own sexual health. We have made some progress, but it is still serious health problem. Thank you for your work, so very needed! Much success to you!
Excellently put. Bluntly as it is. Gay men honestly do need intimacy, touch, love and partnership. It is sad that a big part of the gay community still has low self esteem etc which of course correlates to drug use and erratic behavior and the way around.
You are amazing David. I watched the chemsex doco last night and it really scared me. I'm a bisexual recovering addict and I literally had no idea that this was as big a problem as it obviously is. Looks like I've found the direction I want to move towards in the next few years. I keep on meaning to get some qualifications in your general area and I guess the time is now...
Thanks David. Once again, many many props on the amazing work you and those in your field are doing. Just please make extra sure you're taking time to look after yourself as well as I can't even begin to imagine how stressful it must be in your line of work.
This is very interesting topic and link to what i am currently working with Drug Prevention Program in Cambodia. Do you have any comprehensive study on this CHEMSEX? Kindly thanks and appreciate for this sharing
david you r a legend, thanks for trying to put this messy world into perspective, regular beach going who is repeatedly hit on by other guys who always ask Do you do chems?scarey behaviour at the beach .cheers m8
Interesting talk, however i would have to challenge him on the complexity of having sex with other men and considering condoms, what medicines they and you are on, its not that complicated when you practice safer sex. Many gay men will always be attracted to excessive behaviours, especially in large cities. It is very challenging to support gay men who are entrenched in this world of chemsex because the high is so appealing.
Interesting talk, really appreciate the chemsex history. I wonder if about the role of normalized barebacking behaviors (particularly bareback porn/media) in fueling the current epidemic too. Anyway congrats on the work you all are doing at 56 Dean, cheers from a sexual health worker in US.
AIDS is still upsettingly present in cities where access to healthcare (HIV treatment & prevention medicines) is still poor. Where governments and people don't care or where poverty is rife. But in many cities like mine (London) AIDS is quite rare, though not completely. HIV is still very prevalent, but there are amazing caring people, activists and communities that raise awareness and support HIV positive people to remain uninfectious, and support HIV negative people to remain uninfectable (by use of a medice called PrEP, as well as other HIV ptrevention measures.)
Unbelievable talk, David. Packed brimful of great data and super resourceful. Appreciate it. Love from Los Angeles.
Thank you! Very kind.
Literally saving lives, David. Harm reduction excellence.
:) Thanks Jeffery. xxxxx
He really Adds nothing but talking points. The problem gets worse and worse and he adds no societal solutions. He is a damp squid

The very word "chemsex" galmourises it. Call it what it really is, having sex when high on drugs.......does not sound as good now, does it.
They don’t even want to openly say that chemsex is not a safe space. They want to pretend it’s a community
Has aids sort of been wiped out now a days??

Doing drugs is consorting with demons.
MDMA is ecstasy...Grindr’ took off, but so did sex clubs and bathhouses...
