Evolution of Organization XIII's Theme

- The members of Organization XIII are undoubtedly among the most iconic and defining antagonists of the Kingdom Hearts series. So it should come as no surprise that their theme, originating from the song "Another Side," has left quite an impact on the franchise's soundtrack. Every single game features an arrangement of their haunting and mysterious theme, with the original, non-Final Mix version of the first game being the only exception.
This theme has been arranged into numerous songs in the series, especially varying in tracks that would play when battling against the many Seekers of Darkness. This video displays every song from the games that has adapted "Organization XIII," providing a wide array of how this theme is presented to the audience; from the very first instance with the mysterious hooded figures battling against the side of a skyscraper, to the dangerous digital recreations of the vessels of an ambitious Master.

It's crazy how I never realized the Org 13 theme was in songs like The 13th Struggle and Graceful Assasin. Really just shows how good the music in KH really is
That Organization XIII Arrangement with Xigbar in Olympus is so great! The vocals really make it standout compared to the rest.
Organization 13 is one of the saddest songs not in context of every scene perhaps but in context of the organization itself. Each member. Their goals. Their role in each game. The tragedy of what a nobody is. The lie xemnas told them. Some saved. Some not saved. But in 2…. ( final mix kh 2 my personal favorite rendition ) in the context of the blind loyalty they have, the dark fates, the acceptance of not having a heart. And in the end… all of them… gone… like they never existed… of course they all came back but ultimately not all came back with a heart. And the cycle continues for such tragic characters. The song absolutely is in my top 3 favorite songs in kingdom hearts in general!
Man, hearing so many variations of this melody makes me wonder if a full medley would even be feasible. I also definitely hear the allusion to Org XIII in Showdown at Hollow Bastion as well. As always, this was an amazing video!
I'm so happy to see some love given to one of my favorite KH themes, it's just so iconic and as shown in the video can work in many different context from foreboding like the original to hype like in "Lord of the Castle" or "The 13th Struggle/Dilemma". Then it even hits you with the emotional feels in shiz like the ending from 2 or the arrangement for 3. Sorry if this was rambling but I just adore the Org 13 theme

It would be awesome if you did something like this for character themes. Like Vanitas having Ven/Roxas/Sora and mixed motifs
About a third of the way through this video I was starting to feel that you didn't need to replay the original theme as many times as you did just for the sake of direct comparison. maybe that's just me (someone obsessed with KH music lmao), but I feel like you just made more work for yourself than you needed to. I do understand the feeling of wanting to hammer home a point beyond any shadow of a doubt though, lmao. Regardless, thanks for this vid. Terrific work compiling everything! ^^

Sorry to bother you with this, but I just noticed your playlist of KH music has a lot of unlisted tracks now, and I'd feel rude asking you to spend your time updating that playlist just because I'd like to see it updated, so I wanted to ask instead if you know what was removed from it so I can try to fill in the missing links? No worries! Yeah, I noticed recently that a LOT of songs disappeared from that playlist, so I'm gonna have to update it when I get the chance, cause it can be a *very* tedious process. Thankfully, I have a list written down to remember, but thanks for letting me know!

Hey! Sorry to come to you again with more KH music woes; You're just by far the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to this stuff. I was wondering if you know of anyone on UA-cam that took the World of Tres suites and released separate videos for each of the individual tracks that comprise them? I've found one for Anger Unchained, and another for Eye of the Storm, but both are from different channels, and that's about it. Sorry again for asking you about another thing.
