Summit Fishing Equipment When out yesterday for the first time to try out my new livescope. Was able to see my crappie lure and the standing timber so I know my livescope "works". Was unable to see any swimming fish though. Your video's help the new guy enormously. In fact, was talking to another guy launching his boat and told him what I was doing, and he said, "you should watch UA-cam, there is this 'Guru' guy, his videos are excellent". I laughed. Told him I knew exactly who he was referring to. Thanks.

Summit Fishing Equipment offers the Amped Outdoors 48 Ah Lithium Battery. Have run my entire Livescope system 102sv 94 ultra and GLS 10 box. Packs 16.5 volts to start and I have never seen it under 14 volts and that is after some 10 and 12 hour days on the water. I also use there trolling motor battery . between the two batteries I have taken 60 lbs of batteries out of the boat. These batteries are a small boaters or large boater trying tro save some space and weight dream.
Interesting info. It seems basically an adjustment for color intensity, much like on a television. Gotta experiment with this one a bit next time out. Maybe with some different color schemes. Compliments the color gain adjustment.

Went fishing yesterday and what I finally ended up with was the screen on : Factory settings 🥴. Gave the best result to me while Zander (walleye) fishing. I noted 2 issues which I would like to ask your opinion on : a. When holding my jig head 3/4oz very close to the bottom, it disappears. Why is that ? What can I do ? B. While vertical fishing I always end up fishing in the ‘trunk’ of the ghost tree. What can I do about that ? Info: Gain is at 67 , color gain on zero (factory settings ) . Thx for you help from a Belgian fan 👍
These are my standard settings. They work pretty good Gain 68 Noise low or off Ghost off Color gain 80 Color limit 40 Tvg low Always manually set focus Depth at least 10 feet deeper than bottom Try that and adjust accordingly
Summit Fishing Equipment has some good products, this was a very informative video ,well as I have said I have 2 gps map units a 8610xsv and a 1242xsv touch plus, and a 94sv 1st gen , retired the 94sv too, with all the 1st gen Garmin graphs, and bought a ecomaps 106 with a gt54uhd transducer from B.P.S for $999.00 on sale right now, I mean to me that's a no brainer, the gt-54uhd alone cost $276.00 on most retail sites, so yeah why not? great deal. stay safe and FISH-ON 🤑 MICK N FL.😎
Does the improved screen resolution of an Ultra 106 vs EchoMap93 have ANY impact on the Livescope display when the lower output resolution is preset from the GLS10?
@@The_Garmin_Guru Yes the 106 has much improved resolution for Side & Down imaging, but does the resolution improve at all when viewing Livescope? I thought the Livescope resolution is preset from the GLS10 output, so screen resolution doesn't impact it?
I always enjoy your vids. Keep up the great work! I'm a novice when it comes to livescope. I have been under the weather somewhat off and on since November 2021 and getting close to a full recovery. I have owned my unit (106sv) for about a year and a half with just one update performed. I have heard a lot of pros and cons about the new update, so my question to you, update or not. I don’t have a real specific order. I start at my baseline numbers then adjust
