This is gonna be a game changer for casting back at a musky that we pull out of shallow cover and got her off a spot in open water but couldn’t get her on a figure 8! Precise casts back with a rubber or jerk bait will seal the deal
Agreed sir
Can you do a video over different depths to show the perspective mode 5-10 10-15 20-30
Great information! I'll be trying perspective mode on rock bars next week for smallmouth and walleyes!
It works great on rocks for sure
A few days ago I asked about the delivery times of the LVS34. For your information: I finally got my LVS34 in Hamburg now - after 8 weeks...
Mine should be here soon.
You are great. Learning curve is much smaller w urhelp
Great information, what a great tool for fishing points and underwater structure in deep water.
Yes indeed brotger
Great as usual! Last couple days I have focused on perspective for top water in 3-8' and wow. Lots of fun
It really is and it’s awesome at night
@@The_Garmin_Guru haven't tried at night yet
@@rocketsurgeon1746 I have sir. It’s amazing fishing flats. Hopefully I get lots of videos at fork this coming weekend
@@The_Garmin_Guru keep up the great work
@@rocketsurgeon1746 will do. Thank you brother
Great stuff. Your doing a Great job educating us.
Thanks Matt. I appreciate you watching.
Great content. Really appreciate your sharing. Have you seen Oliver Ngy’s rig? He was running 2 livescopes a while back. 1 in forward and 1 in perspective - a neat combo - if you can afford it🙄
Yea I tried it just too much for me cause I wasn’t relying on my instincts enough. There is a fine line you know
It does work well with 1 unit in perspective mode and 1 unit in forward mode at the same time, just like Randy said u can see them in perspective mode then u can turn forward mode on them at the same time and see the depth there in. The only thing u have to do if u decide to use 2 transducers u need to have them at least 6" or more apart from each other to get minimal interference between them. I used 2 FISH OBSESSED mounts.
Wow awesome video and good information
Thanks Olan
As always…bad @$$ !!
Thanks, brother 👊🏼
Thank you brither
Great video
Thanks bud
Wow very cool video. I night fish all summer. I would need the Summit mount to do this?
I prefer the summit but there are others also.
It looks like you are aiming the transducer above the surface of the water according to your screen icon? I am confused since you are trying to see whats in deeper water.
I’m trying to eliminate the bottom readings which in turn gives you a black background. If you listen to the whole video I mention that one of the important things is getting plenty of distance from your targets. It’s aimed yes but the bottom part of the beam is pointing down. I don’t want to see any part of the bottom. This is especially useful when looking for schooling fish or fish holding on docks or fallen trees. Hope that makes sense.
Is the 14-15 ft depth on your 1022 reading the actual depth or distance of the lower part of the 20 degree cone when it it hits the bottom? If it’s the actual death, does the transducer know it’s orientation to calculate this?
I’m perspective it won’t read a depth. The depth comes from the gt56 on the back of the boat
I have a GPSMAP 1222 so settings should be similar. How do you get the tilt and angle of your beam in the upper right hand corner of your screen like that? I’ve seen the beam overlay out in front of the boat, which shows your 135 degree coverage window, but knowing the tilt of your 20-degree cone angle would be invaluable. Can you walk me through how you get that to show in settings?
It show like that in perspective mode
Nothing special on settings? It should just display like that?
@@ky1e007 as long as it’s not calibrated it will show like that
Just wondered how deep you think perspective mode is good to. I’m in 15 to 25 ft a lot
You can use it in deeper water but you’re very limited because of beam width too to bottom
Angle Up (Settings): I'm assuming you mean tilt the pole mount upwards?
Yea sir. That’s it
Is it easy to see shellcracker beds in perspective mode?
I have some videos of bream beds I’ve filmed.
@@The_Garmin_Guru ok I’ll Go find them
What head unit are you running? Good videos Thank you
Robert I’m running a gpsmap 1022 and a 943xsv
How can you determine what part of the water column fish are in while in perspective mode? Thanks!
Good question brother. That’s a little trickier but you know that they are a little higher in the water column because of the angle of the beam. It’s more of a scouting tool than anything.
If you run forward facing too. Then you can see both. All it takes is $$$$. Lol
Is there a way to use the perspective and be able to see the bottom at 25-30 feet deep?
I’m struggling past 15 feet deep. Is there another mount that the angle is better?
I use the summit Fishing equipment perspective mount
@@The_Garmin_Guru will that get me the depth?
@@mikebrown2634 it will allow you to change the angle to get a good reading
@@The_Garmin_Guru great thanks , do you know the recommend angle for that deep? I’m going to order one now.
I run my LV32 in perspective right now and lvs34 in forward both on same trolling motor . Just trying to dial it in for summer off shore fishing
@@mikebrown2634 it’s kind of a trial and error thing due to the fact all trolling motors and poles sit in the water at different angles
Not sure what Angel Up means ?

Is anyone else having trouble seeing the bass that he’s mentioning?
Brother if you have trouble seeing them fish swim you’re in trouble. Just kidding. Watch it on a tv or bigger screen
