I Netted THOUSANDS of Stranded Fish From This Evaporating PUDDLE !

- In this video we finally get around to netting the floodwater with the stranded carp! Finally the puddle was low enough to get in with a net and I was shocked at the amount of fish still left stranded and the different species that needed rescuing!

Ranatra linearis - Water Stick Insect is the beastie you found, great job on rescue mission.
Those poor sticklebacks when you put the pike in the bucket, must of thought what a day I’m having 🤣
i have been sat thinking exactly the same🤣🤣🤣
😂
All you can eat buffet for that pike 😂😂
That pike must have been thinking FUCK YEAH DINNER TIME
Ive had big perch and pike in buckets together with smaller minnows and they tend to be too stressed to feed.
Thanks, Chris, for the video, and for your continued conservation and showing a new generation how to treat our beautiful riverside habitats here in the UK!
Fortunately you are one of those few people that will run the extra mile to do something like this. I cannot understand why there are not more people helping those poor fish. Thanks for your effort it’s so good to see that some people really care about their environment.
Because there are laws preventing people from transporting fish to new bodies of water.... Disease and fungus spread risk.... Not many people want to risk a big fine, no good deed is left unpunished
@@ConfusedBoatLake-on5xq He was transferring fish back to where they came from. They were stranded in a flooded area. So how come you are breaking the law by returning fish to where they came from?.
This is a proper fisherman and what fishing is all about. Making sure the rivers and ponds are stocked up. For future generations. 👍👍
For the Eastern europeans, to eat!
Excellent work ! You are a great example for all anglers in your care for fish.
The amount of fish that owe you there lives is mad keep it up
Your heart is gleaming big man. Thank God for folks like you! Thank you!
You are a real fisherman! Thanks for this Video in total contrast to the usual „more and bigger“ stuff!
G'day Chris, welldone rescuing all those fish. All the best form down under mate 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great conservation work Chris. Thank you for your great work and video. Top guy 👍🏻
I am exactly the same way with the little fish. I think of it this way and it keeps me going 'Every Stickleback is a potential meal for the big game fish to get bigger'. You've done a good thing here. Even saving the snails.
You are actively involved in maintaining the ecosystem and ensuring it stays healthy. Even if you feel like you look a little silly chasing ghost in a puddle, you are a legend in my mind.
Well done Ginger fisherman.
Top man for saving what was left after your video of the carp rescue. Nice one. Every fish big or small need a 2nd chance and you certainly done that.
Very nice to see an angler dedicated to conservation. The bloody EA and CRT should be doing this, but they are too happy collecting license fees while doing sweet fa in return.
Wow, awesome job. Massive respect for such dedication pal.
Awesome video man, I've never seen a Carp that small! Thank you for your service to fishkind.
A true naturalist. He deserves all the fortune he has finding great fish during the year.
brilliant work Chris, well done. Fishing isn't just about catching, it is about preserving and enjoying our environment and you are a great example to others in this video
Another brilliant video rescuing fish cheers Chris 👍
you need a award chris for efforts to the angling community you are a top top man
Hundreds, if not thousands, of people do good things like this all the time. Being on YT is no reason to win an award for it.
Maybe videos like this completely make up for the live baiting content, if the fish gods are looking down on you, you're forgiven. hahahah
ahaha as sad as it is livebaits will always be the way
Shots fired
Hadir kembali kawan mantap spotnya mancing sukses slalu salam fishing salam kenal salam sehat selalu buat kita semua ❤❤❤❤❤
@@fishwithcarl I don't know how you dare 😜
You should share your secret on how you get your deadbaits to move the float about and react to predators nearby
Fantastic video well done Chris looking forward to watching part 2❤
The "weird bug" was a water stick insect - Ranatra linearis.
An underwater predator, it uses its front legs to catch its prey. Its tail acts as a kind of 'snorkel', so it can breathe in the water.
Usually only recorded in the South and Midlands, so I'm sure someone will take note of your location.
Cheers for that! Was wondering wtf it was! Bet you didn't think you'd ever need to pull that fact out ya backside did ya? 😂
@@DannyFR30 I knew they existed, but to be fair, I've never seen one in person - unlike the common water scorpions that were in the local ponds when I was a kid.
As is often the case, all I really needed was enough knowledge of the beastie to go look it up without wasting too much time.
Kudos to you for rescuing those fish.
Fair play Chris very good of you to take the time …… best channel hands down thanks for the years of entertainment you have provided me to ….. awesome angler all around and underwater footage is amazing . . I salute you 👍🏻👊🏻
