I Found A Hole in The Woods Filled With Beautiful Fish! New PB!

- Well this was one of those sessions that didn't quite go to plan. My aim was to hit the stream in the woods with the ultralight setup in search of winter chub, perch and possibly pike. But after exploring the woods where the river breaches during flooding I made a surprising discovery and even managed to catch a new PB!

Nice one mate but you have got to go back and try and rescue the other one! 😉👍
Rocking the "Fish with Carl " jumper

Hint for a collab? Maybe? 🤔
Great to see support for fellow UA-camrs 👍👍👍
@@pijusmalijonis3657 they've already collabed before
Well spotted mate! Love to see it! :)
Glad the internet was quick enough to post this. Cheers for the amazing vids Chris
U.K. is getting more like the Everglades these days, with miles and miles of flooded fields and streams and rivers. Overworked drainage systems aren’t coping and the roads are so dangerous. Thanks for the vid.
Fantastic result Chris saving the goldfish 👍🎣
You're quite a personality. I imagine you are inspiring a generation of young anglers.
Inspiring the younger anglers to fish natural waters too, not just the £10 a day puddles
Watching you rescue fish always puts a smile on my face, keep doing what you doing man!
Awesome you were able to save a few of those goldfish. 👍
Love watching the Ginger fisherman. To me it reminds me of a modern day Jack Hargreaves. Very informative and keen on nature and the natural environment. Thank you
You have to be one of the hardest working UA-cam fisherman I wish you all the best
Absolutely love this guy, taught me a good few things over the years for numerous types of fishing, keep it up fella 👊
Had a tough couple weeks these regular uploads keep me going 👌🏻
I'm so glad you released them safely
Hi Chris, I came across your video by chance and I’m so glad I did they’re absolutely brilliant, I can’t stop watching them all 👍🏻🎣😀
Awesome....what a random session...love your videos 👌
The most entertaining angling content on UA-cam. Excellent stuff.
Have been watching your Vlogs, which have made me start to fish again after good 30 years . Instead of match style going predator , jig and dropshot in local canals. So thanks for getting back outside
That was just brilliant Chris . Some really nice goldfish, well done for saving them.
Wow this reminds me of when i started fishing on my own in a little river near my childhood home. It was full of goldfish and perch and i spent every summer holiday there. Thanks for the memory 👍🏻
Best Fisherman on the internet! Straight No Nonsense Fishing! 🎣
i'd be so tempted to take one of these home as a pet. partially because it's a story to tell but also because they're gonna het heron'd pretty quick with those colours.
If the polish see this they will eat the lot.
They used to be someone's pets, now they are invasive vermin
Great upload, Chris ❤
Brilliant,well done chris
Fishing is the best thing ever! 😁
Make a video you releasing them into your home garden pond!!!🥹🥹🥹 GO BACK FOR THE 3rd A AMIGO🥺
Great video as always, keep em coming 👏 👍
Great save 👍. Greetings from New Zealand.
Good work mate. A proper fisherman🖖🎣
Just caught up with this site. You are a genuinely proper angler. Great videos.

G'day Chris, great video something different. Those gold fish were lucky you was there .All the best form down under mate 👍🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cheers Pete!
Doing gods work as always Chris, great vid, thank you.
Great content as always Chris. ❤ The @foxrage coat is the go to in times of “ffs, rain”. .
Those goldfish went together really well with your hair Chris. You should wear goldfish skin fashion garments.
Only fisherman that could pull fish from a puddle lol great vid ginge
Top work Chris !!! Well done mate :)
Love the videos Chris!!!
Lol great vid as always really enjoy your channel its second to none 😮
I love your shows Chris, linking seasons, buds etc for some is a good way of expressing it. Have you ever tried a Devon Minnow in the River?
Yet another brilliant video 👌
I finally watched the YPC Bank UK 2023, CONGRATS ON THE WIN! I'm excited to watch the 2024 in Holland and see you crack on and show them how a Ginger fishes.
Nice rescue Chris. It Is still like a giant lake here, as we have had a lot of rain and snow, to bulge out the river. I have seen some very large Goldfish, and Koi carp up to five pounds. If the very big around 30 pounders, and there are two of them don't get then. The mink and the Otters and cormorants will definitely get them. And we have many of those, being a bird sanctuary. Keep 'Em Coming.
Awesome video :) thanks for sharing, those goldfish were great :)
And I thought I was nuts !! Well done !
Great video... As per usual bud. Fantastic you could rescue those goldies, gutted you dropped one, awesome trio to be catching unexpectedly.
I was a little saddened at the sheer amount of trash at that beautiful spot. Maybe see if there's a countryside warden local to that area that could arrange a cleanup mission?
Have u ever considered releasing your own fishing book? I really think your ability to fish and knowledge of fishing would give a lot of anglers a helping hand.
I might consider doing that actually 🤔
@@The_ginger_fisherman My dad's done it a few times - hard work for little reward, apart from the pleasure of doing it, if that's your thing. Peter Hayes, if you fancy googling it. On Trout fishing, if you find that interesting.
@The_ginger_fisherman if u do, I'll be first in line to get one. i need all the help i can get.
Brilliant stuff.. I wade fish and use a float tube for Smallmouth Bass in NH nowadays after growing up fishing the fens for Pike.. ... I love your channel coz you bring me back home.
New Hampshire United States? If so check out silver lake in Antrim nh held record for smallmouth for some years
Know it well... One of my fave unsung places is Little lake Sunapee.. Cheers mate! @@kaseycorriveau734
great videos as always mate keep it up
Be careful if you are stepping into rivers when you are on your own, especially when the area is flooding. It is very easy to stumble or fall. A much better idea if there are two of you.
Saint Chris well done matey always entertaing 👍🎣
Great video as always
Been watching you for a few days now, and you are joy to watch compared to other Fishing UA-camrs I have come across. I just wanted you to know that. Saving those Goldfish was mighty nice of you. Shame that you dropped that one Goldfish back in though.
Far play far play love all the videos u bang out keep up the good work bud
The joys of fishing 🎣
When I was younger there were goldfish in many ponds and side pools beside the river in Switzerland. I went to catch them. Some I put in my pond, some in fire ponds where there were a few breeded rainbow trouts that were to deformed to be sold. But they still had hunting instinct. One goldfish was snatched by the biggest trout when I threw it in. Once the fish reached the bottom they were not attacked anymore.
Some Goldfish I caught were huge. More than twice the size of you pb. The biggest, a snow white one lived happily in my pond for many years until it died of age.
Once I was fishing in a tiny manmade pond that was built for ambhibians. So they did not want any fish there. To my shock I hooked a small wels catfish. But I could not get it out. The hook was small and the mouth of the fish to big. I really wonder what some people think dumping a baby wels into a pond made for frogs.
Those goldfish are not easy to get rid of in bigger ponds. They even dumped a pike in big ponds hoping to get rid of the goldfish. And after a few years the goldfish were gone. But I bet the pike ate tons of frogs as well.
You are mad going in on your own. Keep safe.
awsome video chris🎣
Goldfish are such crazy animals, the irrigation pond I fish at has tons of goldfish that used to be peoples pets. The biggest I've caught out of there was a 3 pounder with snow white scales, most are orange but I occasionally catch ones that have the more natural bronze scales like a carp.
You could of put em in ya waders if you ever need.
All the best from Western Australia Shamesville!!
Nice one Chris 👍👍
Hi, reminds me of a very small pond on Chapel Lane, just outside of Halebarns, Cheshire. I caught many beautiful crucian carp there back in 1969/1970.
Nick from York
Beautifully shot 🙂
New title Ginger fisherman rescues ginger fish😂lovely vid, just subed👍
Nice idea the magnet on your fishingnet!
Won't deny Chris after you caught the last one I expected you to accidentally fall over wading back 😂❤
Great Vid fella. Did you know that brown goldfish can be encouraged to go back to Gold? I once had some Browns in my pond and I put them in a cold water tank indoors. After maybe 4-6 months they had gone from brown to more silvery and eventually as gold as the ones you caught there. I put them back in the pond and they stayed gold too!
That's pretty cool i didn't know that
They should be good eating. I remember i had some in Hawaii, smoked hickory flavored. Locally made very delicious. Definitely enjoyed the video…❤️🙏🏼🤙🏼
Magnificent talent
Great vid mate.
Cześć świetny film super sie ogladalo👍🎣👍🔥
Keep it up man
this was ace, i was amazed when you found 3 goldfish, sad when you lost the 3rd fish, because they will miss their mate, but mega impressed when you caught them on bread, but i would defo have put them back in the river, i love your mad fishing content its such a break from the norm
besides being illegal, they wouldn't last very long in the wild. Would be a waste of fish.
@@pr0faker - they came from the river, just because they might have come from a pond once that could have been years ago
@@sunshinechild-sv9kc highly unlikely if you've seen what happened in the area and video's from here. And even so, its still illegal to put back invasive species back into nature.
yesss lad! the session went off on a tangent, you nonetheless had the situation covered though eh? via the spare pack of size 12s and a ham and cheese sarnie. haha great upload, love this channel
Only you could go out to catch chub n come back with goldfish 😂 top man
Talk about shootin fish in a barrel😂😂. Nice vid again Chris
Like your Tree Frog tattoo.
What a enjoyable video
Well done, what a pity you didn't go back and get the last one.
Really beautiful goldfish😜
Quality vid..😁🙏
Should do a jumper yourself with an all orange man as the logo, Chris 😁👌
Ahhh the good old £1 B&Q orange bucket 😂
Bro has perfected the clickbait thumbnails
😁I caught a lovely koi from an old colliery pond near Sheffield. It weighed about 4 pounds.
Лучший канал всегда много большой рыбы мало разговоров много дела❤ смотрю с удовольствием и радуюсь😊
Smashing bud thanks
I used to catch big goldfish in my youth, fishing small farm ponds for carp in Kent - I guess people had put the odd few in there years previously.
The better/more interesting ones I'd keep, usually just wrapping them up in wet weed and carrying them home in my net on my bicycle.
They were always fine!
They breed quite easily in the UK, what I didn't realise is that they start off with carp like dark colouring when young, and turn gold when they get a bit older. Or ours do, anyway!
No way, you put the bucket there! Lol 😆
Ace mate 😎👍👌♥
that frog tattoo lol
Well done on the goldfish but you must go back and get the other one
Nice goldfish con from Ireland 🇮🇪
Well done on the Goldies... Better than the black-headed gull i had to contend with the other week lol
yea but they put up more of a fight though 👊
Pike love gold fish. You are guaranteed to catch a PB. Trust.
Great video
Dad and I went fishing at Eildon a big reservoir in Melbournes high country. He hooked in to what he thought was a carp. After half an hour of battling it we saw a flash of colour, bright orange. It was a huge common or garden goldfish weighing just over 2lbs......
Bonus vid.. and I thought you'd forgotten us this week Gingerfisherman 😢😂
My personal best is a shy 9" caught in a deep 1/2 acre rock pit pond.
Good for pike !
Found a storm pond in Canada that has goldfish, my buddy caught like a 2 pounder, good stuff
