I am going to get my camping gear purchased with the help of your reviews of tents & accessories needed to camp. I want to get out there & enjoy nature. My cousin is an avid camper & kayaking/canoeing expert. He has been camping & hitting the water since we were kids. We both got our love of camping from going with our grandparents to campgrounds all over the Blue Ridge Mountains in our home state of NC in the US. I go camping with him a lot but don't have my own equipment but that is going to change. I'll take his advice for equipment along with yours Haze. I can't wait to get out there & find some peace from this chaotic world. Just be one with nature. Nothing better than that. Thanks for all the reviews you do for equipment. It helps more people with their choices than you realize. Cheers mate!!
im a retired female landscape gardener, took me twelve years on and off ,to convert my garden to a mini woodland theme ,houses were built on a copse,so im transforming it bit by bit, approx 1/4 acre, health problems in way but im persevering, another brill vid from yourself 👍
Been watching a few of your vids and the stuff you say makes a lot of sence. Im 58 and having the toughest time of my life but your vids take it away for a bit .
Great vid Hazey, it's made me want to learn firemaking. Rannulph Feinnes used to oft remark that his only rule when putting together an expedition was never to include a Yorkshireman - must be barmy!
I buy the giant buckets of coconut oil for like 80. Well worth it. Moiturize the skin everyday and give it to your old cats. Doing fine for everyone. Super healthy
Thanks for sharing another really enjoyable trip with us all. Genuinely the perfect antidote to the stress filled lives we live and the often toxic environment that social media is becoming. We worry about those cold fingers buddy: I've used those single use hand warmers and they're pretty good and last for ages. I'm sure you know all about them! Look after yourself and keep sharing. Sometimes this is the only fresh air I get...
Yes, get Joey D out again! The food looked yummy, especially the stew! Loved the starry night show and the snow dripping in the trees! Felt like I was there. Excellent!
A good tip for splitting logs is to aim for the top but concentrate on the bottom. This seems to will the mind and body to make sure the axe passes all the way through. Basically think about where you want the axe to end up.
That's a nice spot in the woods! What a spot. WOW . Complimented with an epic stew! Well done! You throw down on the food! Look at that breakfast! I like your style. Thanks for the share-Justin
I bought 2 GB axes and I was admiring there quality and as I was putting the sheath back on the bigger of the 2 it cut through the leather and straight to the bone on my thumb.I had to go to A&E and the Doctor thought it was a Stanley knife that cut me.As a result the top of my thumb is completely numb and I will never regain the feeling.Be very carefully with these axes, they dont give second chances.
Sometime when you’re mixing up dough for either pancakes or biscuits, instead of water or milk, pour in the same quantity of beer. A really good flavor. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying.
I always watch your videos as a break from studying for uni, and it helps me relax immensely. Just to get reminded that there is more to life than the intense routine of lectures and studying is already calming, so thanks for that!
Thank you again for cheering me up. I've been poorly and stuck at home for 4 weeks and the videos and Instagram keeps the blues away. I would suggest compression gloves to help the cold digits as leaves finger tips free but helps circulation (my mum has Reynards and these have made a difference). Looking forward to your next adventure outing, I don't mind who it is. Love n hugs
That's a beautiful axe. I honestly feel that if a blacksmith from the 14th century were to be transported through a forest time portal into our time. He'd take one look at that axe and instantly recognise it as a fine piece of craftsmanship. He may even attempt to steal it from you. Even though he's from the 14th century. That doesn't mean that he isn't a chav. They even had wrong'uns back then.
You should go camping with me next....... that was amazing video. Well done. Meal fit for a King. Did you get a buzz from the 15% ? Such a beautiful place. The snow was nice in the morning. Your videos really do make us all jealous of how beautiful the outdoors are and what it can do for the head. Thank you, no trace......
Great video as always sir . I’m from down south but I do love the northern banter . I can’t wait for the next one . Go careful dude hope to see another one soooooon . Namaste 🙏
Nice vid, lovely spot especially the snowmelt dripping from the trees in the sunlight. Glad you took the time to film and show us some camp fire etiquette, loads of good learning for beginners like me! Thanks
What a great video again mate, food looked awesome, and what a morning!! The sun breaking through the trees in the morning is one of my favourite things in life! Hats off to you mate! Well done 🙏🏼 Have a great weekend Ash 👍🏼
New Sub from the US! Great videos man! Love the sense of humor... Or waffling? That how you fellas put it? Hilarious Love the channel! I have a small channel as someone in this niche with spinal cord injury.
I like how you’ve spent the time to properly put out the fire even when the surroundings are wet. If more people did that, it would be a blessing; especially here in the Rocky Mountians. Cheers from Canada, new sub 👍🏻
Didgits hurting. Thats the best time. Your strengthening up. All the power to ya. Im cheering you on. You're killing it better than ever. Youve made tgat decision. No doubt. Amazing. Do it. Seize the days or they seize away anyways they say in the ghetto
Love the ear piercing. Just got mine done last week and couldn't be happier. Cant wait for my family and coworkers to stop giving me a hard time over it though.
Axe...mint, food.what can i say, beats the marrow out of freeze dried, anytime. You were spot on with the dark beer,to me it looked just like dark soy sauce!. All the very best to you and yours HazeO.
Something I've noticed watching you guys on UA-cam is you all eat an ENORMOUS amount of food. I know when it's cold and you're using a lot of energy you eat more, but the amounts I am seeing are unbelievable. I imagined when you started cooking in the morning you would just drop that pot of stew back on the fire for a few minutes and MAYBE manage to finish it off, but apparently that's all gone already and now there's ANOTHER giant meal. How, even??!?
That's a nice axe that is. I've just bought the new Bear Grylls Gerber Hatchet axe. (The new colour). I know it's not the same style axe, but I still can't wait until it arrives.
Who do you think I should go camping with next? Or shall I just try and pester Joey D into coming out again? Have a great weekend! - Hazy
TA Outdoor and his Dad TA Fishing

Absolute pleasure to watch and listen to you mate. Thankyou
One of my favourite videos yet! Absolutely love it!
Just found these videos. Loving it. Bushcrafting with a solid dose of northern humour, sweet as.
You cant beat a 3 hour long cooked stew on a cold night outdoors. I have to say that was one awesome looking stew.

Never thought I'd see a boiled dinner on UA-cam!
Thank you again for cheering me up. I've been poorly and stuck at home for 4 weeks and the videos and Instagram keeps the blues away.

Thanks Em! I’ll check them out.
I just love your videos, Haze. They make me want to pack up my gear and go outdoors right now.
Great video. The snow looks beautiful. I know it's not Bushcraft but USB charging handwarmers should help take the edge off.
Yes-Stunning, loved every minute.
The smell is so delightful. Like floral from the sugars. Herbal and meaty stew. Astounding. Fresh smell and as fresh taste im sure
magical views of the sunlight through the melting snow, and that stew aauughhh!!
