Sleeping in a Natural Shelter | Surviving Sub Zero Conditions

- With winter kicking in and the temperatures dropping dramatically I headed out into the wild. I found a natural shelter deep in the woods and decided to make it my home for the night. I heard some strange noises in the night but chalked it down to animals doing what animals do. It's always great to get out amongst the trees to practice my bushcraft and I had a well needed evening by the fire under the watchful eye of an old oak.

Wrapped up under my duvet watching this pretending I'm kipping under a rock. Yup, I'm not cold at all. My Jack Russell sneaked under and starting licking my feet there and had me worried I had an adder problem, but all was well.

In a spate of insomnia I came across this wonderful life affirming video....Absolutely fantastic footage of fire lighting...cooking that wonderful looking stew ....and making your shelter under that stone ...Finally time-lapse was epic that sky .!!! ...This whole video deserves and Oscar at least for me .Thanks for sharing 😊 Amazing !
...option D,sit by the stove with a steaming mug of coffee and watch Hazey do it.I'll do a polar trek provided there's a radiator to pre warm my hat,scarf and gloves before i put them on.Now get cracken',light that bracken !
I started my 2022 off right: by drunkenly telling two random strangers in the pub on new years that they should absolutely subscribe to Uncle Hazo 😅 pretty sure they did, so that was a win

Classic. Sleeping under a rock. That garlic head might be nice wrapped in some foil, roasted, then smeared on some bread and dipped in the broth.
The Spyderco folders are great. I got Byrd Tern which felt really nice but went walkabouts somewhere and did dull after chopping some corrugated cardboard boxes up. I got the UKPK after and I've sliced endless cardboard boxes, tape, food, wood, rope... It's still sharp as you like. The Byrd's are good for the money but do need a sharpen. The Spyderco UKPK is a beast that really holds an edge. It's non-locking (for UK legal reasons), but the finger choil makes it far less dangerous.
I love your videos and especially your choice of music but your good uk type humor is so fun to watch from the states thanks for making them good luck with many more!

Loved this video mate, that stew just looked too good, to the point that I bought a big zebra, took down the ingredients and headed out to the outdoors to experience it, epic!! Love the videos and the vibe, as you can tell they just push us to get out there and do it ourselves.
