Reminds me of one of my favorite horror stories. Tldr, a man takes a new experimental drug meant to speed up his thoughts. Problem is, it keeps compounding. By the time he reaches the subway to go home, a minute to him feels like a full day. He spends an entire chapter falling down the stairs. The agony of pain existing for weeks even months as he slowly crashes. Its fantastic. I cant remember the title though
I got the event for a starbase falling out of orbit around a black hole the first time the other day. However it was a fortified bastion near my borders with a rival, so I immediately had it back the hell away and go back into orbit to not risk wasting all the alloys I put into it.
I really like these stories, they are interesting and self-contained. They doesn't rely on any precursor/existing faction nor does it blatantly foreshadow an existing crisis possibility.
Stellaris works on different rules than our own, but because it's a common misconception, it's a good excuse to talk about it. Black holes are not actually "vacuums." They don't "suck" anything in. If the sun was replaced with a sun-mass black hole, the rest of the system... well, it would grow dark, but it will just orbit as normal. If you're in a stable orbit around a black hole, then you are fine (assuming you aren't inside an accretion disk, which will inevitably steal your momentum, and make your orbit not-stable). Actually you can more safely get closer to a blackhole than a typical star on account of (natural) black holes not really giving off much radiation, unlike a star, which makes them basically giant gravity boosters for slingshot maneuvers.
There still is a limit on how close you can get to maintain a stable orbit. My presumption with this event is that they actually dipped too close, and now could no longer orbit.
I really like your videos and the way you do it, up next you could do some more acot, sophia would be an interesting one, or perhaps the shadow which the stellarborne mays tell you about, if you need sources you can visit the acots discod lore channel and they will possibly answer all your questions! Youre by far my favorite youtuber, keep it up!
I mean, is it really that bad it looks so terrifying but beautiful what am i to fall into instead a star? It's too bright i like a little bit of dark but all it does is burn it doesn't pull (don't mind literally every solar system) not like the black sun that i love so but fine i guess I'll game end myself instead.
Stars do pull, they have gravity like everything else. If you were to get too close to our sun, for example, it would pull you in and you'd burn up. A black hole, on the other hand, has gravity so strong it would pull you apart until you're a super hot string of atoms
It may come with a dlc i didn't check, it's the gravity well and wanderlust situation. Gravity well has extra bits for gesalts. But it's certainly not modded
But the black hole keeps promising me candy, classic rock CDs, and tells me that gravity is love and will tell me more if I go into their van.
They even have cute little blackholes!
How do you say no to the adorable sub-space rifts?!
Sounds legit. The Worm loves all.
Ooh! A piece of candy..
Wow, thank you so much for the great advice to not fall into the all-devouring holes of doom, I totally didn't know not to do that before now
Glad I could help!
Am Black Hole, thank you for getting people to stop nose-diving into me then getting all huffy when they get spaghettified.
What a knobhead 😂
The tism is strong with this one

Sounds like an awful way to go
I think you’re thinking of “If you're armed and at the Glenmont metro, please shoot me”
Meat canyon and wendigoon read the story out loud a few weeks ago

I was about to fall into a black hole, thankfully I have watched this video and decided to stop falling into it.
Thanks man!
You'll only get the very BEST advice on this channel ;)

Happy to hear it :)

Nice try, fed. You can’t control me!
I thought there was a giant library where I could tell my daughter stuff
Nah that's a tesseract. I get the confusion it looks like a black hole
The advisor mentioned that the Hunters use Black Holes
I wonder if the Hunters will become a Crisis, like how the L-Gate gets multiple outcomes, we can get the Prethoryn or the Hunters
Time for the Prime directive!
And then there's the Cosmogenesis Route...

I like the acot stuff, but the lore is very sparse. Need chiru to write some more!!
Great recomendation in the title.
Dont tell me what to do
This could have several meanings, I will not elaborate.
Thank you for the fun.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Instructions unclear, built horizon needle.
It’s fun though!

Wait, but I thought that gestalts couldn't get the Mutiny event in the Gravity Well situation.
They can't - but it's extra spice and felt a shame to leave it out
@@TheRedKing fair enough, for a second I was just confused if I remembered right.
Anyway loved the video keep up the good work.
❤ nice Report
Collectors? 🧐 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🗿
Is this part of the base game? I know about the second event but not the first one.

What about Cosmogensis?
Indeed!
Hi I love your work
