- Me and cocaine go way back. Ok maybe not way back, but it was a year or so ago that I was a complete cocaine addict. I used cocaine daily for about a year and a half. And within that timeframe cocaine took a toll on my life, physical and mental health. I was getting the nasty cocaine boogers as well as chest pain every single night that I used. Needless to say, the cocaine euphoria was something I could not get enough of. This video is only my own personal experience and is not meant to glorify or promote any drug use. I hope you guys enjoyed this one, let me know what you thought in the comments!

I tried coke twice, in '81 and '82. The first time, my friend and I split $100 worth. We did it, sat on the couch and chatted, did some more, etc. I thought, 'This stuff is really overpriced and definitely not worth it.' Then I noticed it was 4:00 AM.

I've had similar experience, but what I remembered the most is a constant headache whole day after.

I did coke once in college, best way I can describe the feeling is overwhelming motivation with some euphoria. My friend and I walked to the store after doing a line and I felt like I was on the most important quest of my entire life.
Where do you feel the euphoria? I am not planning to ever take drugs, not even drank alcohol yet so I am interested.
@@pasi123567 If you mean when the answer is almost immediately after consuming, maybe 10 minutes in for full strength to kick in. If you mean where then everywhere I guess? Everything just feels good, you're happy. Don't do it though it's not worth it. You can easily get addicted. I avoided addiction because I didn't really like uppers overall so I never really thought about buying some myself, only had it once because my buddy had some and I was curious enough to try.

There is no euphoria bro that shit is worthless. Not to go on forever but I did that shit for a long time and all it bought in the end was pain. I’m now 3 years sober after 25 years of using it all the time

i remember snorting a lil too much cocaine and i would panic fearing an OD, heart would be racing and couldnt enjoy the high cause the effects were too intense

I’ve done coke once. For the first hour it was the best high I’ve ever experienced and I loved it. Chest was numb,nose,mouth,tongue everything, had me feeling I could take on Achilles man the rest of the night when it kinda wore off I sat on the floor panicking because I genuinely having a heart attack I woke up next day my brain felt heavy like someone stomped on a mushroom I was hyperventilating and was extremely horny. I opened my eyes and there’s was still some left on the table I stood up immediately and went home.
Is it better than panicking on meth because that's horrible

Well, writing about drugs and glorifying them are not the same thing. Alice Cooper - Posion, Guns N Roses - Mr.Brownstone and many others. Those songs are about drugs without glorifying them for example
No bs… all it did for me was energy. No euphoria, no raised confidence, no high. Just energy and the need to work. Work work work. I miss that feeling but not worth the price

The sun comes up, the party friends go home, you can't sleep, your thoughts are racing, you can't eat and nothing you usually enjoy sounds fun. And that's not even after heavy use. Never touching that stuff again.

Such an accurate description lol. I remember getting a cab home from a party once around 8am just coming down and seeing all these people up and early cycling and being healthy while i’m going home to try and sleep in a pit of misery. Had some good times but in the end it’s just not worth it.

I have dabbled in drugs (LSD, mushrooms, marijuana, Cocaine). My love of drugs is when I had IV demerol. I loved that feeling. I am glad I did not go down the drug road seriously. Alcohol was enough for me. Sober now 15 years. Best thing I ever did when I quit drinking
I remember the first high of coke it was euphoria and I loved it after the high got dark, depressing and paranoid.
Fish scale, nose candy, blow, snow, the devils dandruff, toot, bumps, rails. Used coke in the 80s. Started on weekends while i was djaying and skating. It went from weekends to a couple nights a week that went on and off from 82 to the early 90s when i just said ive had enough. The feeling I had through the 80s from it changed to something i didnt like. Yes i had the sinus issues back then and still do. Congratulations on your sobriety. Keep staying strong 1 day at a time!
I don't have any experience with drug addiction or even "hard"/recreational drug use, but I still find addicts' stories very fascinating as I have been on a LOT of "legal" medications (some of which have extreme side effects that have fucked up my life, Zyprexa weight gain is no joke, same goes for lithium and Haldol tremors) and dealt with an eating disorder myself (which has a lot of similarities with addiction). Personally I have nothing but sympathy for addicts (unless they use their disorder as an excuse, there's a difference between doing bad things because of your addiction and using your addiction as an excuse to do bad things). The vast majority use it as a coping mechanism for some sort of trauma or "void" in their life. With my eating disorder I felt like my life had no meaning or control.
Also I think the way you (Daniel) explain everything is very understandable! You don't sugarcoat anything but you don't deny that you do drugs in the first place for a reason. BTW I'm curious, what are your opinions on mainstream portrayal of drug use/addiction in movies, such as Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? I'd be curious to know as I love a lot of those movies but obviously don't know if they're accurate at all (although I have heard people say the overdose scene in Trainspotting is very realistic).
I’ve done coke before, it felt like the most intense “sugar rush” you can get, I was basically bouncing off the walls and when it was over I wanted more so badly I paced back and forth contemplating if I should take some more even with my nose being blocked as fuck. Never touched it after that

Sounds like shitty coke tbh. Cocaine clears your sinuses, I know a lot of people that use it when they’re sick and congested. Also I wouldn’t really describe the high as a sugar rush, seems like you might’ve gotten coke laced with meth.
@@Sociobid lmaooo I can assure you I did not get “coke laced with meth” I’ve snorted meth before as a teen and they’re nothing alike.. I have adhd so both of them kind of just calmed me down so I guess I’m just different than the majority, I wouldn’t say what I got was pure fishscale, but it was definitely coke maybe cut just a little, I guess anything going up my nose is going to irritate it a little bit but meth burns way more from my experience. I couldn’t say it felt bad and obviously coke feels better than a sugar rush because of how much sugar is in our diet, but I’d honestly just rather smoke weed, it feels way better to take a fat dab run around in circles then zone out, rather than be geeked up chasing a booster high every 30 minutes to an hour from coke
@@dr.nug7103 I meant cut with meth since meth is a lot cheaper than coke and is a fairly common cutting agent. I only brought it up since amphetamines feel more like a sugar rush to me and plug your nostrils.

Glad to see a comment talking about the actual video, and the immense struggle that this man has gone through, instead of a bunch of people telling their irrelevant stories.
For me it’s completely different, cocaine gives me insane anxiety about 4hours after snorting. The high is euphoric but that anxiety afterwards doesn’t make me want to snort again.
For all the stimulant is the same anxiety, the worst being extasy.
And speed is the only stimulant that doesn’t give me anxiety if used once in a while .
Man its ridiculous how much I relate to you on different things, was big on opi's and cocaine was the only stimulant next to caffeine that I didnt completely despise, tried a lot of amphetamines and a lot of weird nootropic stims like adrafinil and modafinil...all just gave me horrid anxiety and I wanted it to end. Cocaine on the other hand turned me into a rambling maniac and I liked it a lot but never saw a reason for it when heroin exists....once you try H it shits on everything else it is the most beautiful thing. The times I'd do it I'd have to go to the bathroom here and there to get fixed on H (those friends I was skiing with definitely didnt know or need to know about my heroin habit) and on top of heroin and cocaine I'd be drinking beers and smoking cigs and weed nonstop...surprised I lived through that. But lastly, coke turned me into such a nutjob the handful of times I did use it but it is such an alluring drug for some reason theres just something about cocaine.
It is so sad we are all trying to escape this reality that has gone bad. Video games used to work. I turned to alcohol and marijuana. Even tried to be a sex addict but i'm not good looking enough for a partner that can keep up. I genuinely hope reincarnation does not exist. I want lights out when it is my time.
I remember a helmsman character in a television series who became a cocaine addict, and his behaviour was that he seemed exhilarated in a kind of goofy way, like he would sing karaoke in a bar during work hours, and appear to not take anything at all seriously, and he would often look desperately for money, and become aggressive if people refused to cooperate with him in something.
I think that this is a reasonably realistic portrayal.

a couple of years in to my coke addiction, I was using a bottle of Afrin every two days. The misery of getting off of the Afrin was almost worse than giving up yayo.

As someone that recently tried coke for the first time... it was way over-rated... And this was "pure" stuff according to the pros I was with and it was "some of the best"... My face felt a bit numb like I just came from the dentist and I was definitely talkative and felt pleasant... but the buzz was not enough for me to go down the hole I've seen a lot of people fall into...
Bro I felt like this the 1st time. Its a weird drug, because I never felt like I really enjoyed it ended up getting hooked over a period of about 4 year.

I was addicted to cocaine for about three years. The last time I used was 34 years ago, in September of 1989. What a horrible ride that was. I finally stopped after being fired for theft, and was a few weeks away from homelessness. Everyone's journey to sobriety is different, but mine involved Narcotics Anonymous [NA]. It took me years before my brain stopped fixating on getting high. What kept me clean? For me it was remembering the absolute asshole I had become during my years using. The theft, the dishonesty, the pain I caused on those who loved me. Focusing on that was my lifeline.

Then, once you inject cocaine, it almost becomes a different drug. That's what ultimately took me down. And though I was physically addicted to heroin, I was psychologically addicted to cocaine. Halfway through rehab, all I could think about was cocaine. I was a twig by the time I got help. Shit is no joke.

I stopped snorting because of the runny nose/bleeding/ boogers, etc. and started smoking it. I shot it a few times but that was way too intense and when I started messing with needles I just couldn't look in the mirror. I'm glad that hard drugs are no longer a part of my life.

Your lucky your not dead and know you may still have repercussions later on in age. Propranolol and seriquil being taken regularly after a gram plus of coke is an extremely rough ride for your heart to go through. My friends uncle did similar things 2 decades of sobriety dropped dead from a heart attack linked from his older days of shpoting up cocktails of different substances. Best thing to do now is just focus on health and specifically cardio. Not saying you did permanent damage, but dont be surprised if you do. Thanks for sharing though

I do not know anything about seriquil but propranolol is good thing taken with stimulants it lower you heart rate. Bodybuilders now use it a lot to not die. Also aspirine will be good and magnesium.

Its crazy, but as much coce ive inhaled, never understood the hype. The cost of it was never worth it compare to any other drug or alcohol. Personally for me, cocaine was always waste of money, while others having a high times, i was feeling almost completely normal.

My best friend died from an aortic dissection brought on from cocaine abuse. This happens when the layers of the aorta separate and you bleed out internally. It happened to John Ritter and my friend and many others.
Really not worth it. I’ve done it maybe 6 or so times. Got kicked out of a club and almost beat up by the bouncers the last time, since I blacked out. Never done it again since.
I know what cocaine feels like at first but the sucky part is when you have no money in your pocket for anything

Cociane is the one drug I struggle with.....its to the point where its not worth doing because you get so sick afterwards and constantly have sinus blockage, and more problems that happen. But, I still end up giving in and doing it. I legit have to work and on the weekends isolate myself, If I go out on the weekends with the boys best bet I'm spending like $300 on that garbage.
When I was using coke in the mid 80's, it was $100 for 1 gram, which is about $275 in today's money. Based on him getting 1.5 grams for $100 in today's money, then $275 would get about 4 grams today. Had coke been so cheap in the 80's, I wouldn't have lived to see the 90's.

i've done it a few times and never liked it, all it ever did for me is make me want more. i couldn't even tell if i was high or not (spoiler alert: i definitely was). the very last time i did it was at a party the day before my birthday. i was up all night, puked up foam in the morning and had to meet my mom for birthday lunch. she made me my absolute favourite roasted vegetables and right after eating, i went to the bathroom and puked them up. she even got me a sewing machine as a present and was excited to show me how to use it. i told her i was just hung over when she realized i couldn't make sense of what was going on.

I had a DARE officer who spoke to use when we were young. I remember he begged us to not use drugs. I never did any hard core drugs because of that.
It felt amazing for me and no bad side effects the single time I took it in roughly 1997. Could have lived on it it was so cheap but didn't because I didn't want to die on it.

I went to a birthday party for a famous jockey. There was strawberry shortcake and this bowl of some white powdery looking stuff. I was kinda clueless back then. Long story short. I took some and rubbed it on my gums. I really didn't feel much different. When I got home I couldn't sleep. The next morning I was super early for a tennis lesson. It must have still had a hold on me. I did the best volley returns ever. My instructor couldn't believe how much I improved. When I got home, I slept for 20 hours. That was it I've never done it again.

here in finland it's suuuper hard to find heroin and oxys are super expencive and that's why Subutex (same as suboxone) is easily in top 3 most used durgs with speed and weed. I started it after three years of popping oxys and after 3 years of shooting it up I went to rehab and was clean for 3.5 months until I relapsed bout 9 months ago.. The withdrawls are so fking bad, not as intensive as opiates but for me it lasted a bit over 2 months so I'd like to know if u have stopped taking it and how was it for u if u have. Personally I think opiate withdrawls are easier to go thru than bubre (suboxone, subutex) withdrawls. Also tried shooting up cocaine like 3 weeks ago and that was a mistake, shooting 6-12 times a day, few times with subutex and I have constant chest or upper stomach pains n it's fuking up my veins but can't quit😅 used to love snorting it but now it seems like a massive waste

Very similar side effects I also have. After 4-5 weeks snorting about 1,5g per day in average. However I am trying to avoid to mix it with alcohol or something else. Still having some chest pain, later headaches and feel-drop on my hands etc. No idea if those symptoms are a sign for overdose?
