Your going to be hot as hell during the day and then after your good and dehydrated and hammered the sun goes down and it gets cold even in july oh and have fun and be cool cause its one if the best places to see a show and party
Going to my first Dave Gorge concert this year. The only camping that's available is Gold and Standard and its a huge price difference. I've heard standard is pretty rough.
To get through security and get the good lawn seats we’d say at least 3 hrs before the show starts. We chilled in the line for about a hour before the doors opened. We still had about 150 people in front of us by the time we got in line. Earlier the better basically.
What camp ground did you stay at? When you say Car camping does this meaning sleeping int he car or can we use a tent...Would you stay on the gorge grounds camping next time for ease or was staying outside the venue easy to manage?
We stayed about 30 minutes away, you can watch that video here: ua-cam.com/video/qUy_zN0h6pg/v-deo.html. We found the campground at The Gorge to be very crowded which was not our speed. It would definitely be the most convenient option. Pricing gets steep for spots depending on the show and when you go. We car camped for ease. No breaking anything down or putting anything together except our magnet screens 😂. You can of course camp in a regular tent, van, RV, there's spots for all.
I will be attending to a show on friday and another one on saturday. Different artists though… if i wanted to camp at the gorge will I have to purchase separate camping spots? I emailed them but no response. Also, is parking an additional cost?
You forgot to mention that attendees should eat and drink plenty before entering the venue. Costs are extremely exorbitant once inside and theirs no in out privileges. Also, the lawn area is nowhere near eye level with the stage. This is the Gorge, that holds 27,500, not Red Rocks.
What the fuck did the drunk guy say almost at the end?? 'earlier so you can joyfully get your faces ripped off'? Is that a dave matthews band inside joke or something lol

Great point! STAY HYDRATED ☺️
The El Rancho Motel in George is pretty nice
That does look like a great option if you are not interested in camping!

Definitely gets pricey! Maybe consider a campground nearby or a hotel. Some commenters had some great suggestions.
@@EricandAmyTravels I was thinking of car camping in my Tesla. A lot of the outside campgrounds also seem to be sold out.
That's a perfect vehicle for a night of car camping!!! 🤘
If the concert starts at 7 what time would you have gotten there to get good lawn seats?

This is awesome information, thank you so much for sharing. 🤘
what time do the gates open?
That usually depends on the show that you're seeing! You'll want to check on your ticket or event website! Thanks for watching!

@@EricandAmyTravels forgot to say its in september… haha any info is apprecited
You will need to book camping in advance here's the link www.gorgeamphitheatre.com/camping hope you have a great time!
Do I need to buy parking for the general parking there? Is there enough room
Sorry not sure on this one! It's likely going to depend on the show popularity. Thanks for watching though!

Good point on food! The front of the lawn put the stage at a pretty great spot for us as seen in the video. Have a great day!

LOL yeah that's Dave Matthews and he was talking about the openers! No inside joke but he will ramble a bit 🤣
