- *TEL AVIV, ISRAEL: In this vlog, I share my first impressions of Tel Aviv and go on a little tour of the top places to visit. I also reveal the prices for hotels, food, and flights to Israel. During Shabbat times (Friday evening - Saturday evening), a lot of things are closed in Israel, but it's a great moment for a walk or to chill at the beach.

Tel Aviv is an amazing city. Just returned from a three days tour and already miss it. Much respect to Israelis for building such a great city ❤️🇮🇱❤
Gyönyörűséges a ti Hazátok! ❤️🌹🕊
Köszönöm ezt a nagyszerű videót! 👏❤️
Excellent video. Love watching your travels. Thanks for sharing.
Only kosher places are closed on Fridays and things open later on Saturday! It’s an amazing place, so much to do 🥰🇮🇱
Kosher establishments (of any kind) are open on Friday until the afternoon, depending on what time sunset is and, and when Shabbat starts. And then closed on Saturdays. And may sometimes reopen after sunset on Saturday night.
Things are more lax in Tel Aviv and more strict in Jerusalem. It's always best to find out ahead of when you plan to go!
שטויות. בתור תל אביבי יש הרבה מקומות גם שלא כשרים וסגורים בשבת
😂@@skontheroad
Great video! Always wanted to visit Israel. Looking forward to seeing your adventures there!
Thanks a lot!
Amasing Tel Aviv ❤
Also there are so many great restaurants and bars to try! You can spend a long time in TLV and not get bored. I also recommend visiting Masada, if you have energy do the sunrise hike 🌅 The Dead Sea is also a must 🥰
What about occupied Gaza is that a nice place to visit need to see the contrast
@@LayLoowyes since there’s literally 5 star hotels there 😂😂
@@LayLoowtell me you’ve never been to Israel without telling me you’ve never been to Israel
Beautiful city ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm an Israeli, his route covered part of a jogging route I used to do a year ago
Great Video. Welcome to Israel, I hope you have a great time here.
Great video
Thanks for a positive video it’s always good to have someone to show you around, everyone is welcome and people are friendly
Great video, I laughed out loud when you pointed out the “No Fishing” sign and fishing going on near by, that is the essence of something very Israeli… we Israelis are notorious for not putting up with too many rules, we look at them more like recommendations :-)
Very nice walking tour... thanks for sharing this to us...
Izuzetno sve sredjeno, pesacka staza, plaza, more, jednostavno sve sredjeno.Treba posetiti turisticki.Moderan grad.
I always traveled in Tel Aviv in August, yes, that's hotter than may, but that's is a very good heat, not a bad one, so don't worry, that's very pleasant even in July or August 😉
Well in that video you show only the Tel-Aviv promenade and a part of Jaffa. It would be great to upload a video of the city center :)
i love tel aviv❤
Business area in TLV is on Rothschild Blvd, Azrieli Centre and arpund the Diamond Exchange near Savidor train station.
Tel Aviv has some buses in Shabbat for major routes. Can also rent bike or scooter to het around on the many bike routes which is great to do by the sea
This is a great service ....it's good to see that the promenade has some places to sit. Very important information!
Hi, actually from Lod (Ben Gurion airport) to Tel Aviv, you have 2 kind of taxis : the monit (an individual one) or the sherut (a collective one)... It seems you took a monit... With the sherut, the cost is divided by the number of the travelers, so it would have been less expensive for each one 😉
In Tel Aviv, there is no oceans, this is the Mediterranean sea
Oh those is so wonderful!
שלום😊
I just like to know will $1,000 last for one month. What is the exchange rate?
no 1000 usd won't last for half a month, 1000 usd = 3600 ils, eat out 50ils/meal hotel/airbnb/hostel 100ils/night
@@itacohen7615 How much money do I really need if I want to retired in Israel? What about $2,000 a month?
@@Fausto-q5n if you wont to retired with comfortable life yo will need to make at least 3000$ a month because this is the most expensive country in the world, and also the median salary in israel is 2200$ and the average salary is 3500$ a month
Are e-sims an option, given your frequent travel? Enjoying your trips.
Thanks! Ufortunately, my phone doesn't have esim compatibility.
Great video
57 euros is cheap for israel. My favourite beach is Alma Beach on the south of TLV. Great video! I hope your coffee was upsidedown ( KAfe Ha Fou) cappuccino for us europeans.
Amazing Tel aviv!🇮🇱
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
That expensive shawarma looked delish.
It was.
Reminds me back when i was visiting South Africa in the 70s, very beautiful l for one people while on the other side of fence people are kept like animals in concentration camps with limited freedom of movement.
Taxi from airport to tlv is 150₪ by law of you were charged more you were probably scammed :\
Tel Aviv is not the capital city of Israel, Jerusalem is the capital.
He said "financial capital," which is business-related not political. Tel Aviv is clearly the financial capital of Israel.
For public transport on weekends and holidays, Since Saturday, or Shabat, and holidays follow the Hebrew calendar the days change on sunset so public transport stops on Friday/Eve of holiday afternoon and ends on Saturday evening/holiday evening in the evening and there is a "safety" margin. The exact time depends on the time of year as sunset time changes.
That said there are a few options in some places.
-Public transport works on Saturdays in non Jewish cities and areas (like East Jerusalem) and a few Israeli cities (I won't get into the "why") like Haifa or Eilat - but there won't be inter-city transport.
-In some places there are "Sherut Taxi" (translate to service taxi) that is a a fixed service line between two points, like a direct bus, and they are cheaper than a metered taxi.
From the airport there is such a service to Haifa and Jerusalem - they work 24/7.
-Due to this unacceptable situation the city of Tel Aviv started operating a alternative bus service in the city and to a few other municipalities that decided to join this service. The ride on those buses is free and they run on Fridays afternoon till 2am (3am for the main internal Tel Aviv line) and on Saturdays mornings (in most lines from 0:30am) till the afternoon (ends a bit before regular lines start service again). They are supported on the bus apps (like Moovit or Next Bus) and you can find the details on this website (also in English).
busofash.co.il/home-en/
-For public transport in General, the smart card Jack is using, the Rav-Kav (translate to multi-line) is OK but you can also use apps like Moovit or Rav-Pas (by HopOn) to pay for your rides. The advantage of the apps is that it's post pay (you need to connect the account to a card but only pay at the end of the month) and that they automatically calculate for you the cheapest fare for the entire duration of the billing period. Bus payments are done by scanning the QR code on each bus, than choosing the stop you'll get off at, and for the train the app identifies the station's location (you can correct it if it's wrong), you add the destination station and scan the QR code on the screen at the fare gates.
If you decide to use the Rav-Kav smart card you can also use those apps (and the Rav-Kav online app) to top up the card from your phone (requires phones with NFC support).
I love it
The video is great next time maybe you should’ve read abit about the city and the religiouns and what part they are playing beside that it was a greay video and great walking tour thank you fery much. An curious israeli citizen
