Let the river run
Let all the dreamers wake the nation
Come, the New Jerusalem
Silver cities rise
The morning lights the streets that lead them
And sirens call them on with a song
It's asking for the taking
Trembling, shaking
Oh, my heart is aching
We're coming to the edge
Running on the water
Coming through the fog
Your sons and daughters
We the great and small
Stand on a star
And blaze a trail of desire
Through the darkening dawn
It's asking for the taking
Come run with me now
The sky is the colour of blue
You've never even seen
In the eyes of your lover
Oh, my heart is aching
We're coming to the edge
Running on the water
Coming through the fog
Your sons and daughters
It's asking for the taking
Trembling, shaking
Oh, my heart is aching
We're coming to the edge
Running on the water
Coming through the fog
Your sons and daughters
Let the river run (Let the river run)
Let all the dreamers (let all the dreamers)
Wake the nation (wake the nation)
Come, the New Jerusalem
5/23/24 woke up hearing this song 🎶….Serious prophetic ❤️

Omg, incredibly good! And I LOVE the looks on their faces and their bodies swaying. GREAT! Bless their hearts. I'd love to be a HS teacher today! KUDOS to the conductor! Isn't he just great? :-)
That was stunning, wonderful. Thanks people. ❤
I wish my choir would sing this uplifting song. What a treat this is to watch, over and over again.
Great choir. Well done

This is beyond sanctified!

❤👏👏👏👏👏👏
Que lindo!!!
Wundervoll.
Einfach grandios.
Lindo👏👏👏👏
Waters running cold and hot
Very beutiful !! Greatings from São Paulo, Brazil !!
This is incredible! I love that it includes a drum kit and adds 2 more harmony parts at the beginning before the first sopranos, i didnt expect it but really enjoyed it. Also yall have such a big and vibrant sound. Amazing diction and balacne too. You know how to make a fun song even more of a good time. Also loved the energy the conducor had. Great job guys!!!
This always comes up in my algorithm and I regret never clicking on it till now.
❤😊❤😊❤😊
Wow
Most of them unaware of the Jewish Torah/Christian Bible influence here. Marvelously done. Accolades to the director as well.
❤ Brasil
Sounds great. I hope some of the kids in this video improv their postures. I see my teenage self in them, feels so close to me almost like it's genetic or a relative, and man it's tuff trying to fix that as an adult.
After watching Working Girl, this song genuinely inspires me to try to succeed in life and not fail and end up homeless, while also not resting on laurels and relying on income that came solely due to the hard work of my parents. I want my own life, and I want to be good at it.
Many homeless are very cultivated people, ignorant
I noticed that the intro portion does not stick exactly to the original Johnson scoring? There seem to be extra alto and soprano lines. Am I correct?
Yes you are. We add bass, tenor, alto 2, alto 1 then soprano 1 and 2. 8 parts in total
@@RosannaCornforth-Revill-rr3fr fantastic!
I love this! It shakes my soul! From South Africa!!! God bless Israel.
素敵すぎて😂
Last supper, apocalypse, Catholic Mass Eucharist let the living water full of life threw the New Jerusalem
That’s not the meaning of this song in the least.
Catholics supported Hitler. Nazi
the instruments put me off - love when I hear the harmonies of the voices
Completely. Drums at the beginning? Whose idea was that?
If men & women could sing instead of making war...
We stand on the dead stars remarkable wonder star maracalesly done Jesus Christ the Almighty God are all
我单纯被他们的情绪感染了,他们看上去那么喜乐
3:37 this crowd is all old people. loved the performance. but seriously, jerusalem is al quds, it's old, not new.
It's about NYC! Watch Working Girl
@@flierumph working girl is one of my favorite movies, i love it !and that's where i first heard the song, which i also love. but what does "new jerusalem" mean in the context of new york, i don't understand.
Gerontophobe
you really don't find this talent in some choirs. i think i sung this in 8th grade
They left out too many lyrics. Their sound is great but the performance is repetitive. Meh.
Beautiful
Wow
