What's funny is it isn't only each generation's imagination, the statement is literally true as well. Flynn effect shows we are indeed getting smarter over time (more intelligence), but wisdom is generally defined as the amount of real world experience one has amassed with time, which of course the older one is the more likely to have. You don't just imagine you are, you are in fact smarter than your parents and wiser than your children (on population average, not necessarily individually).

My house mate has A Prime for years now and offered me to watch it. Haven't yet besides one show that first month. Frankly, I was not impressed.

All I have is Prime for free delivery. Haven't watched anything on it for years except for The Boys. I think that is actually the only good thing I've watched on it. As for Netflix, all I can remember enjoying on that is The Haunting of Hill House, and Hush. I honestly can't recall anything else on there that I've liked. Some things were okay, but not quite good.

I was watching Disney last night for the first time in 24 years. I signed up to it for star wars, but decided to investigate what they're marketing to kids these days. Every movie is centered around a slightly unattractive female protagonist with a chip on her shoulder toward strong, confident men. It's formulaic.
