Great video and very informative. To me the 4' or 8' topper is a game changer since i'll be running a fridge. My only question is when you purchase the 8' top storage extension along with the Jeep JLU security enclosure do you also get the flat slipstream top also or do they substitute? Thanks in advance
I would contact Diabolical directly about that question. I am not sure if they substitute if you were to buy both. We use both extended and regular for different trips or daily driving.
How do the molly panels attach? Maybe a install vid?
They come with small rivets. We wanted to be able to remove if necessary or mount some of the items and then place the molle bags. We went to the hardware store and purchase small bolts, rubber washer, and wing nuts.
I wish there was a storage cabinet that replaced the windows in the Wrangler top. Ideally they would have a door to replace the window and would also have access from the inside of the Jeep. Floor to ceiling storage cabinet / shelf on the interior (with lockable option ?). Maybe LED lights in the cabinets? I know there is something on the market that is much smaller and only has access from the outside for about $850 each side. OUCH. There's just too much wasted space between the window, roll bar, wheel well and the point where a vertical cabinet could be fabricated inside the Wrangler. # Game Changer. Check out the Winnebago Revel. They have flared out panels to replace the windows to give even more interior area. "just thinkin' out loud"
Yeah I think it would either have to be a custom top or switch to a Jeep Truck and place a top on the back but understand the need

Soft tops sit on the rollbars for frames. The soft top clips over the sides of the body. Doesn’t touch slipstream except when folded back.
The corner pieces for the rear crossbars sit the same as the factory ones and in same places.
The motorized one from OneTop would need to cut out part of the wing skins where the motors sit in front of the rollbars.
It fits with all Fastback tops so far

If you go with 3” or 7” extension will it allow the soft top to go down all the way and will there be any rubbing issues? Thx
Thank you for the question. The soft top would fold and sit on the raised top as it is same Depth as the folding top
Looks great, do you know if it will still fit with the rear seat recline kit or if it might be easy to modify to fit?
The newest version was redesigned to work with the recline kit. You can confirm that with Diabolical but the site shows works with recline kit
Great question I have the recline kit on my JKU.
Works with Recline Kits under 3/4" - Diabolical continues to improve and enhance their kits.
If you have the 8” additional top would there be room for a 35-37 inch tire on top?
If anyone else has thrown their tire on top of an 8" additional top please reply to Jake. Jake our Jeep is currently setup with the foldable top so I don't have a quick answer for you. You might reach out to Diabolical directly and see if they can answer your question.
Hello, I have a couple of questions..
It will work with the mopar cargo mats? the one that covers the back of the rear seats.
How's the fit with the hard top installed?

The factory mats for the JKU that we have is carpeted and the other side is rubber. This is in all of our photos so yes it will fit but the extra will be inside the enclosure. The enclosure is smaller than the entire back of the hatch so it is slightly rolled up in front but not by much. Will try to mention this in a future video. Thanks for asking
Will the sunroof panels stand up in their holding bag inside this elevated slipstream top?
We have not tried that. We place them on top of the normal size top, freedom top fit perfectly between the rails to tie them down. Don’t think they will fit underneath the extended top standing completely vertical. If anyone has tried please leave a comment
