Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plains?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

Algae is relatively slow growing compared to Cyanobacteria bacteria and yeast. Very little attention was given here to the protein content.
Companies involved in the production of single cell protein Are:
    Unibio
    CALYSTA
    Novo Nutrients
    Solar Foods
    Aerbio
This is manufactured food in sterilized fermentation vats using methane and ammonia or also by using carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and ammonia.
The idea is to make protein out of mineral organics cheaper than can be obtained from farming, fishing and ranching.
The target market, for this will be the production of a protein that replaces fish meal

Might also mention that algae were being considered for development for the production of sugar. Tobias Erb a few years ago, found a way to make sugar in a process that bypassed photosynthesis and was much quicker. so sugar from algae was quickly abandoned. 7:32 7:32

It's not cheaper though, it's one of the most expensive

I think they could streamline a lot of knowledge from Asians that have a culture of seaweed/algae. There’s been long innovation of these items & it’s exciting to see their uses in healthcare & technology.
