    Really appreciate you caring for your truck the way I do. Many see a truck as just some tool to use and leave undecorated but in my heart a truck is a man's best friend to take care of so in turn it will take care of the driver. I have a severe truck fetish and I even wish to build my own truck one day fully customized to be a unique look. Only 2 years experience but truckn is in my family and I have a large passion for it. It's just heart breaking to see so many companies going out of business as I got into it more than 2 years ago I was so exited to have so many companies to choose from but now thinking 2-4 more years into the future it's terrifying to think how much worse things may be then especially with self driving B.S. Technology is taking over way too many jobs.
    Me being a music lover I had a 5.1 home theater system in my lease to own Freight and it sounded amazing. I love to Rock & Roll while rocking and rolling...

      @@Thunderstrucktrans I used to practice with an electric guitar also. It was a Stratocaster 🎸 and heavily customized. Thunderstruck is also one of my top favorites and as such I've also had to play it through a few thunderstorms 😁. It's also one of the few songs I've used to ignite a second wind during late night driving like if I got stupid tired then it was time to let the Demonic Road King take over the wheel as I cranked the volume way up before hitting the play button and it awakens "..... you've been THUNDERSTRUCK 🚚😈.... yeah yeah yeah THUNDERSTRUCK😈...." as the second wind from hell hits through the genetically transferred diesel blood flowing through my veins as nothing else exist but me, the road, and 18 Wheels of steel all lost in the music till I'm just there/pickup or delivery/early/on time just the way I like it as I fantasize about a quick nap in the bed "upgraded serta mattress Twin Size" after docking.
      Only bad thing about having a higher mattress "Pillow Top Serta on bottom" is one time I rolled in my sleep too many times and I woke up air borne only seeing a floor headed straight towards me soon as I opened my eyes. Didn't get hurt but it was a hard impact lol. Made sure to not sleep near the edge anymore. No matter the truck I always use premium mattresses and they also absorb a great deal of vibrations leading to better rest during short snoozes. Especially a huge difference when snoozing while forklifts go in and out as any shakes just sends me more comfortably into a super soft mattress 🤤😴.... till I hear BANG BANG BANG BANG on the driver side door saying loading complete or whatever as I struggle to quickly put my pants back on before answering. At least in my case good mattresses makes a huge difference.

      Yeah I like it too. This and the Volvo 860. I wish I had the table in this Freightliner like I did in the Volvo but this is still pretty good. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Enjoyed the video. You have done some cool things with the new truck. Best of luck with the new company. Hope your move to Texas goes smooth and will work the way you want. Yes, Bidennomics have hurt a lot of us. We have dealt with bad economy before and will come back again. As drivers we're used to change. Thank you for your videos.

    I like my Freightliner Cascadia so much better than a Kenworth T680. Quieter, better riding, cabin in SO driver friendly. Like your setup. I used more LED strip lights. I put a curtain up to cover the penthouse suite.

    How do you install the led light strips?

    • @Thunderstrucktrans
      @Thunderstrucktrans  3 місяці тому

      Well the LED light strips have a sticky tape backing so they just stuck to the underside of the plastic part on the back of the sleeper and the cord is plugged into a 12 volt USB if you need I can do another video of how I installed that if that's what you want me to do I will do that no problem The windshield curtain I picked out the fabric from Walmart and had my mother-in-law who does a lot of sewing basically made it to the dimensions of the windshield of the truck and she sewed Velcro on the back side of it and the other parts of the Velcro were just sticking to the windshield

    • @Thunderstrucktrans
      @Thunderstrucktrans  3 місяці тому

      Also the LED light strips are 6 ft in length The ones that I have here are by govi they are the RGBIC which is red green blue independent control and they do each individual light is controlled through an app and you can do many different things with this as opposed to just standard LED light strips they were about $25 from Amazon but I can show you more if you want me to just let me know
      Limited-time deal: Govee TV LED Backlight with APP Control, Music Sync, Scene Modes, 6.56FT with RGBIC Color Changing for 30-50 inch TVs, USB Powered a.co/d/cQNBIZr

    Where did you get the thing for the front window?
    How did you mount the flag on the ceiling?

    • @Thunderstrucktrans
      @Thunderstrucktrans  3 місяці тому

      The flag is a wooden plaque in a frame that is very light and I just have velcro tape on the back side I use the 10 lb industrial strength velcro that I get from the sewing and craft department at Walmart you get about 10 ft I think for 6 bucks

      From my personal experience not every Freight is junk and I've driven several. Most freights were just an operational nightmare but whenever I did get a freight which ran great it did just that "ran great". It's really a hit or miss/flip of a coin when it comes to freights or at least in my case either I get a good and obedient one or I get a very glitchy one with all kinds of weird issues. Honestly even though I love to drive Kenworth and Mack Anthems the most whenever I get a really good freight there are allot of times I forget I'm even driving a freight...... until I hit a nasty bump. Even though I'm okay with a freight in decent condition I still have wet dreams about driving Kenworth again but nothing get's my d*ck hard like seeing old school long nose "non Aero Dynamic Style" trucks like the Kenworth W900 or Peterbuilt 379 or just anything old school. In my 30's and I don't know what it's like to drive old school type trucks but I certainly drool over them 24/7.

      @@kennethmatthew3453 yeah I know what you mean.....I've been driving since 1084 so I've driven all the extended hood large cars and long for the good ol days. This Freightliner has been flawless so far but I do miss the bigger Volvo 860 I came out of but hopefully this is my last year anyway so as long as this runs the way it has....I'll make it work.
