Yea I got a email notification that told me the truck was at the dealership so me and my son went and seen it the sales rep was upset because he didn’t want me to see the truck b4 he detailed and put the rims on and made sure everything was right but I ain’t care I just wanted to see it but after he got it showroom ready I came back and it looked like a work of art💯

Those front chins look amazing on the freightliner, but not a single one I’ve seen hauling regular freight isn’t half torn off. I would never order that unless I was going to the same safe places. That chin isn’t going to last my friend. They look damn good though

If you wanna be efficient and make money get a New (Newer) Freightliner or Volvo if you wanna look cool get a Pete,KW or Western Star they all have pros and cons it depends on what you like and what you doing I like FL because of the space,fuel efficiency and looks and that Freightliner has the most dealerships if you break down and anybody can work on them they like the Honda’s of trucking. My truck has all the options that most drivers have so it’s easy and comfortable to drive

you don't wont the truck in the shop more then on the road. Back in the 90' feight linear had a program with a warranty. The trucks spend more time in the shop that the drivers could not make there payment. Congratulations and Good luck. 20 years in this business.
Maxed out every warranty they have paid 22k extra if it breaks down I don’t have to pay anything. I got truck last August in 2022 only PM’s and DOT inspections for shop time no breakdowns yet so I guess I got a well built one. I don’t have a payment it was a cash purchase so I don’t have to worry about that either when it does eventually have a issue I’ll just get a room and chill and if it a back order part or takes longer than 2-3 days to fix I’ll just fly home.
So, if I order a semi truck that is custom built specifically for my needs straight from the manufacturer’s official website, where would the custom-built semi truck go? And where will the money in the bank account go if I order it?
You can’t build it off the website too many options the website is just give you a idea and to get your info so they can contact you the closest dealer to your address will call you if you want a custom built truck you have to go to the dealership and it will take more than 1 trip. It will go wherever you want them to ship it most dealerships won’t charge for that but it will probably go to the dealer that you designed it at. To build a new truck they will want a deposit if you financing a credit check will be ran other than that the balance is due on delivery.

@@m1a2abramsmainbattletank58 you can have them deliver it wherever you want but it’s smart to have them deliver it to the dealership that way if anything is wrong they can fix it right there and you can do a walkthrough of the truck THEN have them deliver it where you want.
Naw a pilot of a jet got more than that you pay attention to what you need to and ignore the rest all the information I get helps make it 100x easier and if I ever did get annoyed I could just dim or turn off any/all of the screens being that it’s all digital💯

thats a dope truck but i would of bought a western star 57x for less than what u paid for. i know they are pretty much same truck but 57x is like a rolls royce cascadia be safe and hope purple treats you right and brings you lots of $$$
The 57x wasn’t available when I designed this truck in April 2021 they only had the 5700ex that the dealer was trying to sell me because they were discontinuing the model and coming out with the 57x my dealer rep showed me it on his computer before it went into production Ian’s I said it looks like a Cascadia with a Western Star hood and he said “It is” because of COVID they streamlined design and production to cut cost so now WS has like 90% Freightliner parts and panels the hood and interior are different like hoe Roll Royce uses BMW ‘s infotainment system and other parts. With respect to the price I paid if you subtract the 22k I paid for all the factory extended warranties it brings the cost to around 180k which is what a new un-customized WS cost b4 FET tax which I didn’t have to pay that cost about 18-20k and financing fees and interest which I didn’t do so in the end I made out thanks for the comment bro 💯

@@nafakaboy I got EW4 with After treatment add on,TC4,PM4 and Towing $1,800 cap unlimited miles with Extended Next that adds 2 more years to all the maxed out extended warranties most are 7 year 600-750k b4 the extended next kicks in I paid 22k extra to max out every warranty they got so it’s not cheap but I don’t gotta worry about my truck and I would’ve spent that in 3 years on maintenance and issues so it was a no brainer but talk to ur sales rep because they have different levels of coverage for each type of warranty it goes from 1 to 4. I don’t know much about rigs 500HP. There’s non professional race cars have 1000HP. 500 seems low for a rig like that it’s a beautiful and extremely expensive they could of gave you more HP. At least 800 do ketch zhit over the CB because ur ace?
Yea most trucks are in the 400 to low 500hp range. For OTR trucks HP don’t really matter it’s the Torque and rear end ratio that matters,these are diesel trucks not gas so they operate differently and more efficiently there is a reason you don’t see 1000HP race cars pulling 80,000 pound loads down the highway and up mountains any semi would win a tug of war with a race car💯
Thinking about ordering a truck with my company question the safety eye vision system & the digital review mirror camera system about how much did that run you? Edit: never mind I heard you say 6400 was that including the safety camera panels to ?
The mirroreye system cost $6,400 all in the other system is called Safety Vision and it cost $2,800 all in with the 10in touchscreen and 2TB DVR but you can get different options with that that will raise/lower ur cost.

Yea it does the old system is trash if you get the new infotainment dash you can add on what they call premium sound package with a 10” subwoofer I got it you don’t see it in the video because my son edited it out he said that you couldn’t see it because it was too dark under the bunk it’s right behind the switch that opens the bunk in the middle and is fairly large if you get the upgraded insulation package it sounds like a Dolby soundstage the whole bunk area rumbles perfect for watching scary movies at a rest area in the middle of nowhere at night with the curtain closed 😂

You only need 450-500 for regular OTR it’s the torque that matters the highest they go is 2250 at the dealership I went to but you have to upgrade other stuff I got 2050 and it’s overkill for what I do.
No bullshit 550hp 2050 ft/lbs torque with no speed governor it makes bull-haulers look like their truck is Nerfed I blew the doors off one and he hit me on the CB and asked what I got under the hood I said a “Semi Hemi” he said 10-4 driver🤣🤣🤣
What's custom on there that different from what I see companies like prime hover on their fully loaded trucks. It's not custom if it came from a factory.

If you go to a Freightliner dealership and build a truck from scratch and you get to the powertrain part ur gonna see 15 pages of engine combinations and 8 of transmissions not just a standard DD13,15 and 16. If you buy a new truck off the lot you not gonna see any of that 9/10 it’s gonna be a company spec that cancelled etc. they normally spec at 455 HP w/ 1650 Ft/lbs they derate the engine for fuel efficiency. The HP change is just a flash on the ECM just like taking the governer off. In my situation I had ordered a regular DD15 but my truck got delayed and when they got to the engine the DD15 I picked got discontinued so I switched and got the new DD15 Gen 5 Carb 22 performance model which ain’t even been around for a year mated to a DT12 HD performance transmission 2050 Ft/Lbs that would hold 2250 ft/lbs which I wanted but my sales rep said to get that I would have to get a DD16 and it would be overkill and impact my fuel efficiency because I spec’d a full AeroX truck. I know guys that took there DD15’s to shops and got em tuned to 600 hp but they had to swap parts. It’s a button on my Jake/shift lever that I push and it switches it from eco to performance mode and the truck takes off don’t matter what I’m pulling I try not to use it because it affects my fuel economy so most of the time the cpu probably restricts my power I mostly run on cruise because the truck goes around curves,slows,stops and speeds up by itself and uses IPM to use the Jake and manage the throttle the dealership don’t even know how work half the stuff I got on the truck because it’s new technology I couldn’t show half of it because the truck wasn’t moving I got it at the shop for a PM ,oil change and DOT inspection right now they take pics and tell me it’s the most advanced truck that they ever worked on. It’s all custom Factory and PDI center installed half of the stuff I got I probably won’t use I even got a couple factory FOB keys locks and unlocks my door sets off a alarm does light test and starts my truck. Hate to give you a long paragraph but I know my truck inside and out I paid cash for this truck nobody can take it from me I got the title and it only cost me .55-.85cpm to run it depending on fuel cost dual 150 gallon tanks I’ve gotten across the country on 1 fill up and sum change 💯
The truck can be ordered with 650 hp i think you got wrong info two people in the mayflower fleet have 650 hp plus all big sleepers have way more hp than a company truck or anything a mega fleet will buy
Real truck drivers can drive anything like me I don’t have any restrictions even got my motorcycle endorsement and I don’t have payments on anything got titles for everything I’m trucking n winning so if that don’t make u a REAL trucker I don’t know what to tell ya…..js 🤣🤣🤣

Naw that’s the standard spec but when you build ur truck at the dealership they got 10+ pages of engine/spec setups that you get walked thru they can derate or boost ur engine just by flashing the ecm.

thats a dope truck but i would of bought a western star 57x for less than what u paid for. i know they are pretty much same truck but 57x is like a rolls royce cascadia

The 57x wasn’t available when I designed this truck in April 2021 they only had the 5700ex that the dealer was trying to sell me because they were discontinuing the model and coming out with the 57x my dealer rep showed me it on his computer before it went into production Ian’s I said it looks like a Cascadia with a Western Star hood and he said “It is” because of COVID they streamlined design and production to cut cost so now WS has like 90% Freightliner parts and panels the hood and interior are different like hoe Roll Royce uses BMW ‘s infotainment system and other parts. With respect to the price I paid if you subtract the 22k I paid for all the factory extended warranties it brings the cost to around 180k which is what a new un-customized WS cost b4 FET tax which I didn’t have to pay that cost about 18-20k and financing fees and interest which I didn’t do so in the end I made out thanks for the comment bro 💯

@@nafakaboy I got EW4 with After treatment add on,TC4,PM4 and Towing $1,800 cap unlimited miles with Extended Next that adds 2 more years to all the maxed out extended warranties most are 7 year 600-750k b4 the extended next kicks in I paid 22k extra to max out every warranty they got so it’s not cheap but I don’t gotta worry about my truck and I would’ve spent that in 3 years on maintenance and issues so it was a no brainer but talk to ur sales rep because they have different levels of coverage for each type of warranty it goes from 1 to 4. @@nafakaboy when I get off the road I have a lot of footage and MacBook on the truck but I don’t edit my videos my son does and he’s at home maybe I should try my hand at editing on the road so I can put videos out faster but I be tired after driving I’m driving now and it’s 5am between driving going back a forth with brokers trip planning and talking on the phone with my wife and kids editing is a struggle but it can be done I just gotta figure it out I might do lives after my shifts or resets also I wanna do other content I gotta new bike and me and my wife going on vacation to Mexico in December I might take my GoPro but I will have more videos as soon as I edit them thanx for asking bro💯

I don’t know much about rigs 500HP. There’s non professional race cars have 1000HP. 500 seems low for a rig like that it’s a beautiful and extremely expensive they could of gave you more HP. At least 800 do ketch zhit over the CB because ur ace?
Yea most trucks are in the 400 to low 500hp range. For OTR trucks HP don’t really matter it’s the Torque and rear end ratio that matters,these are diesel trucks not gas so they operate differently and more efficiently there is a reason you don’t see 1000HP race cars pulling 80,000 pound loads down the highway and up mountains any semi would win a tug of war with a race car💯
Thinking about ordering a truck with my company question the safety eye vision system & the digital review mirror camera system about how much did that run you?

The mirroreye system cost $6,400 all in the other system is called Safety Vision and it cost $2,800 all in with the 10in touchscreen and 2TB DVR but you can get different options with that that will raise/lower ur cost.
@@Mr.WarBucks one more question , do the new radio on the digital dash sound better than the stock radio ? The stock radio that's in the freightliner sounds terrible especially for bass and stuff , I heard the new one is HD so has better playback and sounds better can you confirm?
Yea it does the old system is trash if you get the new infotainment dash you can add on what they call premium sound package with a 10” subwoofer I got it you don’t see it in the video because my son edited it out he said that you couldn’t see it because it was too dark under the bunk it’s right behind the switch that opens the bunk in the middle and is fairly large if you get the upgraded insulation package it sounds like a Dolby soundstage the whole bunk area rumbles perfect for watching scary movies at a rest area in the middle of nowhere at night with the curtain closed 😂
@@Mr.WarBucks lol that's good man because I was stuck between ordering the Pete or freightliner and I know the sound system in the Pete was far better than the freight and the ride was last time I drove a freight was a brand new 21 model though fleet truck but we can custom order trucks at my company so I was torn between the two! Does the air ride help with the ride at all or would you say it's a minor upgrade

You only need 450-500 for regular OTR it’s the torque that matters the highest they go is 2250 at the dealership I went to but you have to upgrade other stuff I got 2050 and it’s overkill for what I do.

Nice truck but that dd15 dont go but up to 505 hp and 1750 tq since you have the automatic which is standard on cascadia
If you go to a Freightliner dealership and build a truck from scratch and you get to the powertrain part ur gonna see 15 pages of engine combinations and 8 of transmissions not just a standard DD13,15 and 16. If you buy a new truck off the lot you not gonna see any of that 9/10 it’s gonna be a company spec that cancelled etc. they normally spec at 455 HP w/ 1650 Ft/lbs they derate the engine for fuel efficiency. The HP change is just a flash on the ECM just like taking the governer off. In my situation I had ordered a regular DD15 but my truck got delayed and when they got to the engine the DD15 I picked got discontinued so I switched and got the new DD15 Gen 5 Carb 22 performance model which ain’t even been around for a year mated to a DT12 HD performance transmission 2050 Ft/Lbs that would hold 2250 ft/lbs which I wanted but my sales rep said to get that I would have to get a DD16 and it would be overkill and impact my fuel efficiency because I spec’d a full AeroX truck. I know guys that took there DD15’s to shops and got em tuned to 600 hp but they had to swap parts. It’s a button on my Jake/shift lever that I push and it switches it from eco to performance mode and the truck takes off don’t matter what I’m pulling I try not to use it because it affects my fuel economy so most of the time the cpu probably restricts my power I mostly run on cruise because the truck goes around curves,slows,stops and speeds up by itself and uses IPM to use the Jake and manage the throttle the dealership don’t even know how work half the stuff I got on the truck because it’s new technology I couldn’t show half of it because the truck wasn’t moving I got it at the shop for a PM ,oil change and DOT inspection right now they take pics and tell me it’s the most advanced truck that they ever worked on. It’s all custom Factory and PDI center installed half of the stuff I got I probably won’t use I even got a couple factory FOB keys locks and unlocks my door sets off a alarm does light test and starts my truck. Hate to give you a long paragraph but I know my truck inside and out I paid cash for this truck nobody can take it from me I got the title and it only cost me .55-.85cpm to run it depending on fuel cost dual 150 gallon tanks I’ve gotten across the country on 1 fill up and sum change 💯

Naw that’s the standard spec but when you build ur truck at the dealership they got 10+ pages of engine/spec setups that you get walked thru they can derate or boost ur engine just by flashing the ecm.
