I was lucky enough to live in Fulham for a good 6 months. Brings back so many fond memories re-walking down all these roads I once met during my brief time there. God what a beautiful and tranquil place it is. Really one of those you don’t realize how good you had it til it’s gone places. I miss it dearly. Thanks so much for sharing. I miss my time in Fulham. It will always hold a special place in my heart
@@darren-q5n It’s just a preference! Different strokes for different folks… I love the weather, I love New York but it was too hot then cold! Then the architecture, wow! I could go on all day I love the history and it’s palpable! So old, there’s nothing like this in the new world and we have all the modern benefits of the state’s now too! So no sacrifice and the trees are more plentiful than any other massive city and the amount of parks, and Greenwich where they started the Greenwich mean time, the park there is so big and I’d take my dog there and we lived there and used to go to the centre on the boat, so quick, saving hours of traffic and scenic and in that park you could easily be in the countryside! I just adore this city but to benefit from it you need imagination to get inspired and do the bus tour, native Londoners don’t appreciate the city they live in bc they have never looked at it through fresh eye’s! It’s the same for every city! Are you a Londoner and is this the Darren I know?! 🙏🪷💛

Sorry if this comes a bit late. The best way is to take the Stanstead Express from Stanstead Airport to Tottenham Hale station. From there you can take the tube (the underground), travelling on the Victoria line to Victoria station, and then the District line to Fulham Broadway.
so why haven you shown Fulham football ground if this supposed to be about Fulham and youve not shown fulham football stadium its like going to highbury and islington and nor showing the arsenal or going to tottenham and not showing spurs staduium
I went to Beaufort house school in Lilley road and also sir John Lillie for a short time. Beaufort house is now flats next to the big hotel. I also remember that shop in the basement my friend lived in chesson road I'm 60 years old now I was about 14 then great memories. All the best.

north end road market is dead on its feet from what it was!
There's still some stalls there, but not the same as it was.
All socially engineered now sadly.
