I saw a post on instagram about the soul going straight to Heaven and I quoted 1 verse proving it wrong. The author of the post and several others pointed out my “error” so I replied with every single verse from the Bible and they didn’t reply back. I pray that at least one person learnt some Biblical truth from that post 🙏
What about the poor man Lazarus story which Jesus spoke?
What you need to realize is that millions of people see these comments but that said AI is very powerful stuff so I think they scrub quite a few of these comments from the list of ones that are made I've noticed many times where I have said something and gone back to look and then it'll be gone

He was making it very clear about his authority upon the theme. Marking it off as just another of his parables is not correct.
The first time your ministry came up on my UA-cam feed, I had no idea who you were affiliated with, but within about 10 minutes, I knew you guys were SDA. I was so happy to see a younger generation spreading the messgae, especially in way that is so understandable. My three daughters are your age and I have prayed for God to open a door for me to present this to them and the In-Laws; and I would appreciate anyone who happens to remember this post while you are in prayer, I would appreciate, so much, if you could lift my family in prayer.

Thank you two for your ministry!!! Praise God! I once was a lost soul but SDA gave me bibles studies, got baptized (genuine baptismal) and God opened my eyes to the deception! The PROBLEM was, I put my trust on the pastor and I didn't read my Bible. Sadly, I was deceived. Now i read everyday, pray and APPLY THE WORD TO MY LIFE AND OBEY GOOD. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have search many protestant theories and found that SDA follows the Bible more closely than any other denomination. Praise God the 7th Day Adventists exist. Thanks and God bless all. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Praise God.
I do agree with quite a bit of that statement there is a lot of things that the seventh-day Adventists are dead on about but it is also true and I have researched this thoroughly that Ellen g White did plagiarize most of what she wrote from other people's writings and that was extremely disappointing to me when I found that out and at first I didn't want to believe it but the more I looked into it the more I found that it was true that said I think the understanding that the Catholic Church is the Antichrist and a great deal of the teachings on eschatology are true I'm not knocking them I'm just saying that Ellen g White was not a prophet for sure not a profit she said a lot of things that were not true she said a lot of things that did not come true she said a lot of things that were questionable at best. Even this SDA church has admitted to some degree that this is true. They got rid of Dez Ford because of what he was teaching which was exposing a lot of this and that was quite a while ago.

The episode in the Lazarus resurrection when Jesus says that he's sleeping and then tells he's dead its the perfect explanation plus the very in incisive verses that says what death is should be enough
One concern I’ve had for a long time is how people believe their senses more than what they read even in the Bible. I tried to tell my mother who claimed she had a conversation with her dead grandfather, about what the Bible says. She retorted: “Are you telling me I don’t know my grandfather? I saw him!”

I joined the SDA in 2000 after marrying my wife (she was SDA).
For me it is good to watch these discussions as it re-affirms what I know, as you tend to forget things over time due to subtle influences, and you need a good reminder on a regular basis.
Thank you for doing this, it will be a big help to others trying to find their way in today's world.
@emilschw8924 I was SDA. Not now. This I have against them; They are outspoken against Catholicism but they still incorporate their pagan holidays, ie christmas and easter. Why not God's feasts? They seem anti-semitic or at least replacement
@sherrydubois6164 Neither should be practiced. Easter and Xmas are definitely pagan, always were, but the feasts have fulfilled their time and role. However this ministry does call out the many pagan and mixed worldly practices that have infiltrated into the church. Be blessed.

The last three feasts have not been fulfilled the feast of trumpets the feast of atonement and the feast of Tabernacles. I'm sorry if it sounded like I lumped them all together I know there are some that aren't that way but the rest are I get their magazines and I listen to their programs and that's what I get from them

If someone you know is dead claims to be resurrected and has something important to tell you, you know it is deception. Quote a verse in responce, it is written ...... - prepare for it.

If it is someone you know coming to bring you some message from God, rebuke with a scripture, i.e. of the old prophet that lied to the prophet that was instructed not to return the same way he came, and not to sit down to eat with anyone, but went with the old prophet, and paid with his life. If it is an important enough message from God to you, trust he will tell you first, and if he sends someone, it is only to confirm something he already has put on your heart. Prepare for all kinds of deceptions. "It is written" worked for Jesus, and I believe it will be our best option too, to not be swept away in deceptions

Ellen White is not the doctrine of the SDA movement; our doctrine comes from the Bible. The reason people think ill of the church and reject the message is because some people think we worship Ellen White and that her word takes precedence over the Bible; it does not.
Agree! People read other religious books besides the Bible and don't see a problem. They hear E.WHITES name and they freak out!!! I read my Bible first and then E.White's material. She has some great stuff!!! I used to be ovene of "those" that had an issue with her writings but now i enjoy them. BIBLE FIRST though! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Ellen White's writings are a treat and desert to us. It expounds on the word of God and makes the Bible so much easier to understand in every details. She is a prophetes of God chosen by God for this last day's msgs before Jesus comes again. It is because you don't read her books that you don't understand her. I used to be like you before but after reading her books I realized I was wrong about her. She upholds the Bible and lift up the word of God in its highest standards. I will be able to meet her in heaven when the day of resurrection comes.

Knowing doctrine will not keep you from sinning if you’re not putting the doctrines into practice especially, the face of difficulty. We compromise with evil for a variety of reasons. The main reason is we don’t want to be uncomfortable. We don’t want to stand completely apart from the world and stand for God which makes those spiritual muscles weak. We want to belong and desire validation from those around us.

I agree, The Bible teaches that the dead do not live again until the resurrection. This view stands in contrast to the common belief in an immortal soul that lives on after death. However, the Scriptures present a different perspective on the state of the dead.
The Bible consistently portrays death as a state of unconsciousness and inactivity. For instance, Ecclesiastes 9:5 states "the dead know nothing." Psalm 146:4 adds that "his [man's] breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish." These verses indicate that the dead are not conscious or aware of anything.
Furthermore, the Bible describes death as a "sleep." For example, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 speaks of "them also which sleep in Jesus" and that "them also which are asleep in Jesus will God bring with him." The imagery of sleep implies a state of unawareness and inactivity, not an ongoing conscious existence.
The alternative view, that the soul lives on after death, is not found in the Bible. The concept of an immortal soul separate from the body is a Greek philosophical idea that was later adopted by many Christian traditions. However, the Scriptures do not support this notion.
Instead, the Bible teaches that humans are a unified whole of body and "breath of life" (Genesis 2:7), not a body housing an immortal soul. When a person dies, this life-giving breath returns to God who gave it, leaving the body inanimate (Ecclesiastes 12:7). There is no Biblical basis for the idea of the soul departing the body at death.
Where, then, do the dead go? The Bible indicates they simply return to the dust of the earth, awaiting the resurrection. As Job 14:14 states, "If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come." The dead remain in the grave, in a state of unconsciousness, until the promised resurrection.
This resurrection is a central tenet of Christian hope. 1 Corinthians 15 provides a detailed explanation of the resurrection of the dead, which will occur when Christ returns. The dead in Christ will be raised first, to be followed by the transformation of the living (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This resurrection is essential, for without it "they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished" (1 Corinthians 15:18).
In summary, the Bible's consistent witness is that the dead do not live again until the resurrection. They remain unconscious in the grave, awaiting the time when Christ will raise them to new life. This view stands in contrast to the common belief in an immortal soul, which has Greek philosophical origins rather than a firm Scriptural foundation. People have problems reading the Bible. We need to study the context and the Bible from beginning to end.
So, back drop of this question...I was raised Roman Catholic, after starting to seriously study the Bible I eventually came out of Catholicism. In considering other views I attended a Baptist Church for a while because they claimed and it seemed to me that they based their beliefs purely on Scripture and not traditions of man. Once I realized the truth that we should be keeping the Sabbath as followers of Christ I talked to the pastor about it and ended up leaving that church as well. At this point I think a lot of what I believe is in alignment with sda. I haven't really personally studied Ellen White's writings so I can't really speak on that one way or another. From what I understand, sda teaches that we don't need to/aren't supposed to keep the rest of the biblical feast days(Passover/unleavened bread, first fruits, shavaot/Pentecost, trumpets, atonement and Sukkot/Tabernacles). I do believe we should be keeping those and I do... Anyway, about the topic of this video, there is one thing that kind of throws me for a loop and I wish you would've talked about. Luke 16:19-31, Jesus talks about a rich man who's in torment after death and desires to warn his family of the consequences of sin... How is this reconciled with souls simply sleeping and being completely unconscious after death? Thank you for speaking about these heavy truths. I do appreciate your ministry. Prayerfully consider the context of this passage. It’s in a series of parables. May God continue to bless your study and journey with Jesus. Some SDAs personally keep the feasts or acknowledge them in some way, most do not. It’s one of those areas where there is freedom to do as the Lord leads you.

Each Leviticus 23 festival has its own characteristics, but they all share two essential aspects: 1. They are not from Israel. They are from God. These are times of remembrance of divine actions on behalf of His people, Israel; 2. They point to the future, beyond themselves, declaring in their own confirmation that they have a greater reality: the Messiah and His Work.
In this binomial between memory and expectation, we can find an answer to our question regarding the importance of the biblical festivals and their relationship to believers today. They continue as events commemorating God's action to deliver His people, through which the Messiah came to this world and His Word came to us.
For this reason, they are relevant in learning of a God Who relates, Who liberates, and Who directs. Despite this, these festivities have no saving function in and of themselves, nor should they be taken as a metric of relationship with God, since the reality typified by them has arrived and it is this reality-faith in Jesus-that should be the metric.

Luke 16 you quoted was a parable. Can a drop of water from a finger dipped in water cool the effect of lake fire? Do the dead sit on Abraham's bosom? The fact that real Lazarus (the brother of Mary and Martha) later was dead and was resurrected by Jesus proved that this miracle still didn't convert the rebellious Pharisees. Nay, they were even more determined to kill the Messiah.
Go to Jack Hibbs ministry.. and learn the truth for the first time! SDA says the devil does their atonement they're not Christian!

Scripture teaches of the spirit of prophecy. It is written: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17 kjv. "for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10 kjv. God's church in the last days MUST have the spirit of prophecy, this is what scripture tells us. God's word through Mrs. White is so amazingly wonderful, you are truly missing out on a blessing.

I was also baptized in a SDA church back in 95', i own all the White books, copyright 1910-1925, I found them in an attic of an old house belonging to my wifes family.
EW said herself NOT to lift her up as an individual, we humans will ALWAYS screw it up, including EW. What I find that is a little unnerving that where the Bible says that during end time events, that even the elect could be deceived, that Eve, being the only woman on earth and walked daily with Jesus and was the epitome of perfection, that she was so easily deceived. I think the only thing we have going for us is that we know what sin is like; what it feels like, where Eve never had that experience of the wages of sin.
I thank God that where Eve failed, Jesus overcame exactly on that area of his life.

I wish that at the 30:28 mark where Mackenzie starts giving the timeline of Jesus telling the disciples that Lazarus was in fact dead and not just sleeping, that Matt would have corrected him since he was wrong in who said what and when. I am kinda syrprised he had this mixed up, having heard him many times before. Read john 11:1-34 for yourselves, important for those who may be listening and not know their bible yet. I Thessalonians 4: 13-18 explains what will happen at the end. It states that those that are dead in Christ will rise first (not come down). It's also important to note that Jesus doesn't touch the earth because we will meet him in the air.

This question comes up a lot. It comes down to punctuation or lack of-- in today's grammar, it should read, I say to you today, (comma/pause/right now) you will be with me in Paradise (Heaven). Logic tells us that Jesus did not go to heaven that day. So the thief did not either. Jesus was acknowledging that the thief received salvation that day. 💖🙏

So....I'm watching this right now and haven't finished. But I have heard many times that Eve essentially put words in God's mouth by saying, "neither shall ye touch it." If God had not said that, wouldn't that have been the first sin? That Eve lied? But the Bible records her first sin was in eating the fruit. Why would it be ok to touch it, but not eat it? We cannot be sure God did not say that. Just my thoughts.

The issue is in how/what the peopoe understand what soul & spirit are in the bible .
Most dont think the person goes to heaven but their spirit/soul does.
We can talk all day about sleep, resurrection,...etc. but if people still think a person is alive in spirit/soul they will not accept what yoj/me are saying.
A lot understand the body is in the grave & resitfected but think the soul is still living .

The Bible speaks of two men named Enoch in Genesis. One of the righteous line Seth who loved and walked with God and another of the line of Cain, not a righteous man. Also, scholars agree the Book of Enoch could not be written by either Enoch as each lived before the flood and the Book of Enoch was written over a number of centuries (300 - 100 BC)
