Pergamos to Rome: Three hundred years later, Rome moved into power, Julius Caesar had all the priestesses and priests of Semiramis moved from Pergamos to Rome. That's history. You can read that yourself. Julius Caesar had a great idea about having more power if he could combine a false religion with his system. You see, he knew what every good conqueror knows; you've got to get the people religiously. When the worship of Semiramis arrived in Rome, the chief priest of the Mystery Religions in Rome took the title Pontifex Maximus and it was imprinted on his miter. The title had to do with the worship of a god called Dagon the Fish-god. From then on, every emperor in Rome wore the title Pontifex Maximus.
Constantine & Christianity: During the year A. D. 306 a Roman emperor named Constantine was threatened by a very powerful enemy army. Realizing that his uneasy troops needed confidence, Constantine claimed to have seen a vision on the eve of the battle. He saw a large blue flag with a red cross on it and heard a mighty voice that said In hoc signo vinces -- “in this sign conquer.”
Babylonianism to The Church: In 381 A.D., the Roman emperor Gratian refused to wear the paraphernalia of Babylonianism, but he passed it to the Roman Pope Damasus. Since Damasus, every Pope of Rome has worn the garb of Babylon--the fish hat, the crosier, and the keys of Janus and Cybele. In our days, Pope John Paul II and his most recent successor, Pope Benedict XVI, wears the garb of Babylonian idolatry. As the pagans had worshipped their gods (icons of their deceased pontiffs) in their pantheons and temples, they now worshipped their patron saints and their lcons in cathedrals and churches.

Why does man always have to assign a name (label) to ourselves? Why cant we just be disciples of Christ? Simple. The way it should be. 😱🙏🏻
This is how I am. I follow the teachings of Yeshua and am part of no church. I have no argument with anyone. If I want to know anything I ask Him directly. Religion leads to argument and that results in separation. Keep your focus on Christ. That is all that is required.

What most do not know is that the original title Lutheran, was a derogatory title used to insult. Those who turned away from the control of the papacy to embrace justification by faith alone were not allowed the title Christian or catholic (Greek word for universal) because they were excommunicated and designated as 'apostate' and branded with the name of the 'heretic' who instigated the people to cast off the papacy. Lutherans continued the name tradition in honor of those who gave their lives for the gospel of grace alone. This is the only reason we still go by the name.

They believe Mary and the Pope are in place of God is higher than Jesus, they removed the 2nd commandment and split the 10th. They kept scripture away from common man in Latin and burnt and disallowed others from reading for themselves. They murdered historically 10s of millions of reformers/protesting against them with accurate historical figures of 50 million murdered in the dark ages. They also brought about their Latin Vulgate which produced later on "modern translations" which brought about doctrinal changes due to the abuse of translation and changing of important words.

I was raised and confirmed in the Methodist Church. I'm 44 now but I spent 17 years of my life in the occult, after I turned 18... 8 years ago was when I actually asked Jesus into my heart, and after all the studying I've done in these 8 years the church didn't teach me anything and failed us.. fail my whole generation atleast.

It is impossible for Satan to overcome the Church that Jesus founded on the apostles with Peter in charge (Mt 16:19). Jesus said, "I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Mt 16:18).
What church is the presenter really talking about? Jesus declared that "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world" (see Jn 6:35-58). The church that rejects this declaration of Jesus is the one that has been influenced by Satan.

I have a bit of an issue with Constantine. He made up a story as far as. I'm concerned that he's seen that. And to use the cross to conquer and to defeat the Other army. But if you go to Rome and you look at the victory arch. That still stands there for that battle. There is not one cross or 1 godly. Thing on that victory arch which is in the middle of Rome. Why would Constantine not put the cross? Because Catholicism is pagan; as it is a religion of the Sun as opposed to the son of God. The God of Israel, Yahua, is the Creator. His prophecies verify his word. The eternal covenant then, must be the Ten Commandments, which Yahshua referenced when He said Love Yahuah with all your heart and all your mind and all your spirit, and love your neighbor as yourself.
The first four commandments bring us to love Yahuah, the last six to love our neighbors.
How many Christian churches preach that the law was “done away with?” This means lawlessness! Our Messiah will one day say I do not know you, workers of lawlessness!
Teaching their flocks lawlessness sounds an awful lot like Do what thou wilt!

If you're praying to Mary, (and believe a host of other abominations of the RC) you're not saved. (Roman Catholic)
If you believe and teach God chose some to be saved and or dammed before birth, you're not saved. (Calvinism)
If you believe your saved because you raised your hand and or repeated prayer, you're not saved. (Evangelical)
If you believe that experience is above obedience, that signs and wonders must follow your testimony, you're not saved, (Charismatic)
Jesus warned believers several times that many will be deceived from false teaching/teachers, false prophets and the like.
Many will receive the Word with joy however, fall to the wayside.
Many will run the race but will be disqualified in the end.
Many will call Jesus Lord; however, their lives are full of lawlessness thus dammed.
Jesus states, “why do you call me Lord and not do the things I ask?”
When you confess or follow Christ you are coming into agreement with what He and the N.T apostles taught. Christianity is not based on words (confession) alone, but word and deed.
Jesus stated himself you must PROVE to be my disciple.
If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he Withers. They gathered them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want(according to His will), and it will be done for you. My father is glorified by this that you produce fruit and PROVE to be my disciples…

Your faith is not based on whether you believe Jesus existed or not.

Many who set out on their Christian journey start out full of joy, faith, hope and love. However, the cares of life creep in and the enemy is allowed to sow seeds of lawlessness, unrepentance, and ill will, the hardships of life will cause many to take their eyes off Christ.
For whatever reason (and there are many) the pride of life takes over and their FIRST LOVE is left out in the cold. In the end their lamps run dry and the oil of gladness fades into the night. Many will take advantage of the spirit of God’s grace and will be cursed by their own choosing, not God’s.
The responsibility of the believer is to draw near to God, as God has given the world access to the Son. The apostle Paul states in Romans that man is without excuse. God wills that no man should perish but that all come to repentance. Jesus is our high priest. He is the better covenant. No longer do we need the permission of priest or the blood of bulls and goats to atone for our sins. Jesus atoned for all sins, not just for those who believe. So, if Jesus died for my past, present and future sins does that mean all are saved. Of course not. Only those who do the will of the Father are saved. Jesus stated himself “I only do what I see my Father doing,” and so should you.
James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
God has given the believer all the tools in His Word necessary to be victorious on a Christian journey, those tools being the Son (Word) and the Holy Spirit (guider of truth). Prayer is also a powerful tool.
All through the N.T Christians are warned not to involve themselves in persistent unrepentant sin.
1 John 3:4-10 Everyone who makes a “practice” of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is
lawlessness. You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has neither seen him or known him. Little children let no one deceive you.
Whoever “practices” righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a “practice” of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a “practice” of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not “practice” righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
But I have always heard that “sin is sin, and we all continue to sin, whether we know it or not, besides no one is perfect.”
While we all continue to service sin in our lives, the point being, not that we will not sin, but what we do with the sin that matters.
Jesus stated to “cut off” adultery, “cut off” lust, or the kingdom of heaven in not ours.
Paul said to “flee” sexual immorality....
Paul also writes to believers in the church, 1 Cor 6:9-10, Eph 5, Gal 5,
DO NOT BE DECEIVED: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
But AMONG YOU, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of character, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, AS I WARNED YOU BEFORE, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Repentance is not just a state of the mind but in deed as well, as we are told to show works worthy of repentance in the N.T.
Some Christians believe “therefore I think it, therefore I am.” Lol. Many have a “tell God I’m sorry” approach to repentance. While this may work in a secular environment, apologizing can be beneficial however, these are just mere words, and words without action will get you nowhere with God.
Many have relied on Eph 2:8 to smooth themselves into thinking their alright with God, let’s look.
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
In the passage two “works” are at play. Good works and dead works, mainly works of the law and decrees. If we read down a few verses in verse 14: For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has torn down the dividing wall of hostility 15by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace 16and reconciling both of them to God in one body through the cross, by which He extinguished their hostility.
There are works of the devil, works of repentance, works of faith, works of justification, works of the law, works to be seen by men, works of darkness, works of the flesh, works that deny Christ, dead works, works of well doing etc.
The same Paul who wrote Eph 2, also wrote Romans 2, however you will not hear bible teachers exegete Rom 2 as you do Eph 2.
Romans 2:5-10 But because of your hardness an unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment is revealed. He will repay each one according to his works. Eternal life to those who persist in doing good seek glory, honor, an immortality, but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth but love obeying unrighteousness.

Needed to say no more....the title of this video says it all. This is why I can not and do not support Religion of any kind for religion is a creation of man and is not of God. Throughout history there have been men that have placed themselves equal to or above God and have changed both law and time just as Daniel prophesized in Daniel 7:25. Protestantism came after Catholicism and Orthodox and what did Jesus say about the first apostolic Church? Matthew 16:18 “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. “ if you find the oldest churches today in Europe where apostles spread seeds, they are Catholic or Orthodox. Which teach Mary is Immaculate and which church teaches Jesus is physically present in Church via Eucharistic last supper in mass, intercession with saints, confession of sins with priest and purgatory and mortal sin? The reason why we have so many sects is because there were arguments against old ancient dogmas and traditions that these heretics opposed. The dogmas were actually approved by council members at high levels of the Church. Again Jesus promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against the oldest and Church tradition. Go to that Church; oldest Christian religion and yes I’m a Roman Catholic for historical reasons to avoid the modern day reformations that causes many divisions in beliefs and yes works does save or reduce time in purgatory (Abraham’s bosom) What did Jesus say about the Good Samaritan that didn’t pass the beggar and ignore him? Defending and supporting the Catholic Church dogma here.

Actually they were bishops and Peter was the head bishop of the church till he was crucified. Constantine in the 4th century placed himself over all the church proclaiming to be their leader and it was not till after this do we truly see the term Pope to start being used officially.

Thank you so much for pointing out the problems with the Reformed practice of paedobaptism and confirmation. I was raised in the CRC church (and graduated from the very school you were referring to), and I was unsaved until I was 29. I do not ever remember a time when I was evangalized in the CRC church. I certainly could not have ever told you the gospel message, or given any logical reason for why I would have been saved. Salvation only came for me when I surrendered wholly to Christ and His Lordship, and I was fortunate to find an expository church by which I could be taught and led. One regret is that I lived just around the corner from Calvary Baptist Church while you were teaching there, and I missed out on the opportunity to sit under your teaching, and maybe would have heard the gospel sooner.

I have been through all of this. I have spent a lifetime exploring doctrine. My conclusion is: it is Christ alone , His teaching and His Sacrifice. The doctrinal differences, as long as they do not encourage idolatry or a divergence from the Trinity or the dilution or falsification of Christ's incarnation and death and resurrection, do not matter. Believe! Live your life for Him! See your life through a spiritual lense. This is NOT our home!

The Way was never any form of Catholic. They followers of the Way were not calling themselves Christians although they were following the Way/Maschiach because these people were not speaking Greek. Read genesis chapter 3 where it all started. If you want to be delivered from and dark emotion: anger, lust, bitterness, unforgiveness, pride obey Christ by walking in LOVE and SERVANTHOOD with the help of the Holy spirit. His presentation regarding Christianity before Constantine (before 4th century) is oversimplified at best and misleading at worst. The idea that there was but one catholic stream of Christianity before the 4th cenutry is naive. There have been many groups and the views and doctrines have been rather diverse, even when it comes to supposed key points of the faith. For example, there was a stream of Christians which are called to the Montanists which could be described as a "charismatic renewing" movement. They have been denounced by most other streams of Christianity, though. Even in the 1st century the point of views have been rather diverse. For example, besides the Nazarenes (the main stream of jewish Christians in the Palestine region which came after Jesus resurrection; by some branded as heretics anachronistically funnily enough) there have been the Ebionites who did not believe in Jesus' supernatural begetting.

I'm a Wisconsin Synod Lutheran and the children do confess we are sinful at confirmation, that is what the teaching of Confirmation is about and we cannot take Jesus's body and blood without knowing WHY we are taking the Sacrament of Holy Communion. AND every Sunday we confess that we are sinful and can only be saved by being covered by the Blood of Christ AND we profess that at Communion. The children are also taught that they must choose this as their own belief and not because of parents or the church. This is when children make their own decisions. I love to listen to your teaching because we can all use more knowledge about the most important belief and love in our life, God. I know that I cannot stand before the judgement of the Father without my Lord Jesus Christ interceding on my behalf by Jesus's works not mine. We pray and have the Holy Spirit to guide us as much as we sinners will or can allow due to our sinful nature. I really wish that you would research about other Religion more thoroughly before dumping us into categories. Now perhaps you were speaking about the American Lutherans but certainly not the Wisconsin and Missouri Synod Lutherans. I would suggest you do more homework when comparing other religions. All religion, Baptist, Lutheran, Catholic, etc. has been touched by man who is sinful and therefore no religion is infallible. The Word of God was inspired by the Holy Spirit and why we study the Bible but, I assure you, we believe we are sinful and must be covered in Jesus Christ's blood for our eternal salvation and not by works or any other means. Works come because we love God and even our works are not Holy, they are our attempts to do the best we can within our own limitations because we love God, not for any other reason.

No Methodist, Presbyterian, Puritan or Pilgram that arrived to the US taught a pre trib rapture. It wasn't until John n Darby invented it during his time with the Plymouth brethren in the 1830s.

He hasn't woken up to the fact that no one including Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, John Wesley, Francis Asbury, all people in he US prior to the 1800s never taught that the rapture and second coming were two separate events.

To the maker of the video and whoever else wants to chime in, did the council of Laodecia 363-364 have the right to change the sabbath day and to place a curse on those that follow God's commandment of Exodus 20:8-...?
