@@deanneshane3799 so if a Company only hires a specific race it's not a racial issue? Not only UITM is racist, MCA, MIC, UMNO, or any organisation that entry or membership is subject to racial background are totally racist. We should be Malaysian first. In fact systemic racism is a very serious issue in Malaysia. I know a company in Kuantan that gives different pay according to their racial background (40% higher for C). ironically that company is linked to the royal family.

Spot-on ‼️ The value of a university degree is determined by the industry. It can be measured by the number of graduates employed by Fortune 500 companies and holding senior positions in these international organizations. Limiting competition gets them nowhere because they'll earn miserable salary and remain poor if the industry knows it's a fraud system. It follows that it will be useless even if one graduates with highest honours from the university.

Thanks for always being a vocal proponent of moderate inclusive Malaysia Prof ! As always. But as a minority, honestly most of us are fearful to speak up as the repercussions are severe. The silence of the majority of supposed moderates in Malaysia is deafening and it speaks volumes and worries us to the core. We always hoped and thought with UNDI18 and that the younger generation would be more inclusive and moderate but with recent developments and election results, it doesn't appear so. Malaysia needs more open dialogue on such quintessential topics which determines the narrative of Malaysia's direction but unfortunately the minorities such as ourselves have learnt our lessons not to. This is very sad for Malaysia indeed as the direction we are heading to does not seem to be a good one, unlike our neighbours e.g. Indonesia, Vietnam who have far surpassed us in all aspects. We as the population are heading the other way and the wrong way in my humble opinion. Even politicians nowadays are held hostage to the demands of the seemingly growing far right and radicals.

Good Prof, you bring this up. The problem is the former politicians who hammer the ideas into the young people's minds of this country. Instead of studying, these students will never be accepted into high-paying jobs. They never think that companies might not employ them later if they are from UiTM. Narrow-minded students. They think the government will forever give them jobs. How can those students excel in their field when the world is changing so fast. The outside world is cruel. I have young people who told me when I asked " Where is rice from?" They answer "Supermarket". Our education system standard has fallen so low now but our politicians are still sleeping. Students in Japan are studying physics and calculus in primary school. We study them in Form 6. what I have studied maths and science in Form 3 before, but now they put them in Form 5. What the students now is learning, I have no ideas.

Most of his speeches are valuable and his ideas and views can be used as references to make Malaysia a great and respectable nation.
Professor Tajuddin with his sharp eyes and sharp brain can really see things which are not seen by most of us.

THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT SHOULD CONSIDER SETTING UP ONE OR TWO NEW UNIVERSITIES TOTALLY BASED ON MERITS (AT ALL LEVELS INCLUDING TEACHING STAFF ETC ) INSTEAD OF RACIAL COMPOSITION.
MAINTAIN THE CURRENT QUOTA SYSTEM FOR ENTRY AT CURRENT UNIVERSITIES SO THAT OPPOSITION PARTIES DO NOT FIND EXCUSES TO POLITICIZE THIS ISSUE.
PUT THIS AS TOP PRIORITY IN THE COMING MALAYSIAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN!!!!!!!!

Let me share my experience as a hiring manager. My company actually adopt fair system during hiring, we provide exam to all shortlisted candidates, and major is Malay, because many of them apply. However, non of UiTM student or Malay candidate able to answer those logical questions, very limited chinese candidate able answer too. The hiring process become very difficult when those good candidate choose other companies.
As a hiring manager, we really wish local universiti, such as UiTM to produce good quality student, so that is easy for us in the hiring process. Still, we will remain open for everyone, whoever can pass our test, we don't see the color, we see the results.

Our country needs more level headed and well read professionals like you to speak out against advocates of extremism and terrorism with aim to create social havoc in our beautiful land.
Our government must take firm actions to halt the spreading of hatred against non-Muslim communities by those Muslim politicians who champion the practice extremism wherever they go before the situation goes out of hand. 😓

I do believe Malaysian universities have studies on the topics that you Professor are talking about in this video. Yes it would be a good opportunity for such researches to be discussed so that an understanding of the dynamics can be understood. Whether the participants are prepared to accept the findings and seek ways to improve the situation in ways that will be highly conducive for coexistence as fellow Malaysians in places of higher education depends on on the professional members’ leadership in the matter. However I do fear that the lack of moral courage amongst the universities leaderships will not elicit such necessary discussions, which when all underlying issues are addressed and understood will ultimately lead to harmony amongst all Malaysians. Thank you professor for your moral courage and leadership in bringing up issues such as these on such a regular basis. There can no longer be any denial of the long term importance of such subjects.
