Similar to the Friends cast, the HIMYM cast seemed to genuinely enjoy working together, and were as close as their characters. I love when real life imitates art!
i think this is what carries all the great sitcoms. Yes they have good scripts and good improv moments but if you look at all the most loved sitcoms it’s the ones were the cast get along extremely well. I think it’s why shows like b99 works too. It’s also why these shows can’t be replicated without the cast. How i met your father i’m sure is a fine show but without the characters who cares. I’m sure a lot more people would come back for a season 10 with the entire regular cast returning (including Tracy because imo they can do a season 10 set inbetween s9 and the finale)

Both are good in their own ways based on their different atmosphere 1. Friends is good bc it's full of 6 hilarious characters 2. Himym is good bc the atmosphere gives off a relaxing/romantic tone.while not as funny as friends, it's still funny

@@leonardolim8976 I definitely understand this too, when Friends ended and HIMYM premiered , It reminded me of Friends and I just really loved both so it was great for me, though I wished for both series to have lasted 2 seasons longer. I couldn't get enough. Either way 2 Excellent Series!!!!!
