- We mourn the loss of Khyree Jackson and all of those lost in this tragic accident.
We are thinking of Khyree’s family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time, and he will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace, Khyree.
This is very sad. As a Washington Huskies fan, when something bad happens to Oregon, I would normally laugh, but not today. we are all Ducks today. R.I.P to Khyree, who sadly never got to play a down in the NFL, which was his ultimate dream.

I was born and raised a Ducks fan my whole life. This is not the first time something like this has happened but that does not make it any harder to watch. It’s harder when you see a man get so close to his dream finally making it. My sincere condolences to his family and thank you for all you did and I’d like to thank him for all he did for Oregon. Thank you and may you rest in peace Khyree you will be missed.
RIP so young man... from a student at the University of Florida and a Gator fan, my heart goes out to him and the two other victims and their families. this hits hard because he is close to my age. I Hope Oregon does a special uniform combo in honor of him. appreciate life everyone because we never know when our time is up. Go Gators and Sco Ducks.

The amount of impact Khyree had on the Vikings lockeroom in just a short amount of time tells me how much of a special person he was. Such a personality and someone who loved life it's so sad that he had his taken from him. There's no doubt in my mind he would've been a great teammate and part of their lockeroom culture just as he was a standout personality for Oregon football and his teammates there. As well as being the standout person I'm sure he was to all his friends and family. It's a sad thing he never got to shine on the NFL stage because I do believe he would've. Rest in Power, Khyree. May your family and friends find some peace in all the heartfelt messages online from people that were just getting to know you and seeing what they have throughout your life.

The brightest stars sometimes burn too bright. I've only known him since the draft (Vikings fan), but man did he ever make an impression. Coach KOC maybe said it best: "Khyree brought a contagious energy to our facility and our team." He had such a great future ahead of him, I know Brian Flores was extremely excited to work with him, he was going to be perfect in the B- Flo scheme. RIP young stud.
What a sad day, When Khyree was with Alabama you could see great potential, sad for what ever reason he got suspended, but watching him all last season with Oregon you could see a 1000% change in him. What a talent he is and showed every play and we all knew he would make it to the NFL. From a die hard Tide fan to his family and friends, I am sorry for y'all's loss.

This reminds me a lot of Brandon Burlsworth’s story. Had to take an unorthodox path and work harder that most to achieve your dream of getting drafted. Only to have both of their lives cut short in a car accident before their rookie season. RIP young man.

Man I got water in my eyes and goosebumps on my arms. Sports have a way of doing that to us... uniting everyone. Man this was some news that I still don't want to accept. Remember the first time watching Khyree play in a Ducks uniform and I knew that man was somethin special. What a massive loss to us all, RIP 5.

I wish I could see him play 1 more time and get 1 more pick 6 for a house call, and I wish I could hear him say "GO DUCKS" one more time. When he got drafted I had a gut feeling that he was going to do smth great and let everyone see him do smth great. Never did that but was the greatest Duck that i've seen in a while. It was saddened thing ever and I couldn’t believe it actually happened and I was looking forward to his future plays with the Vikings as a rookie when he got in his NFL and now it was time for the season to start in the next 2 months and now he gone to soon. He is a great guy and he always has a good happy smile on his face and I think he worked very hard to get there and I really wanted to see what he was going to show us but maybe he will always be on the Vikings side cheering them for the games and the Vikings players said that he will always watch over us and we will win the games for him.
