In some cases force can persuade and becomes beneficial but ultimately like war that’s usually a last resort nowadays most of the time.

Whenever somebody uses a bunch of pejoratives to describe another person (anti-Semite, Putin apologist, liar, thief, tax avoider...etc.), it's clear to me that their only objective is to smear the person and scare others away from listening to the other side of the argument. It's a BS tactic. (To say nothing of Draiman "flexing" on how he'd beat up an old man...that's pretty lame too.)
I agree that Waters is arrogant, and maybe insufferably so, but I don't think his Nazi character and symbolism in "the Wall" was an ENDORSEMENT. It's pretty obvious that he intended to convey the opposite.
Some people consider any criticism of the Israeli government's policies "proof of anti-Semitism." It's the same logic that implied people only spoke out against Hillary Clinton because she was a female, or that people attacked Obama's policies because "he was black." It's dishonest. I’ve seen so many videos of him being super kind to strangers in the audiences at their shows, I’ve seen videos of him feeding homeless people ON his tour bus when it was stopped to refuel. Once at one of their outdoor concerts, a little girl in the pit was freezing so he gave her his long leather jacket and said “If it’s okay with your people, you can have it”…this seems so odd. I wonder if he’s coming DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS?

Man, I wouldn't claim for a second to understand the nuances of the Israel/Palestine situation... all I can say 100% is that (IMHO) Gilmore and Waters are two of the greatest musical geniuses to have ever walked this Earth, and Disturbed is... well... Disturbed. If Disturbed had never existed my life would be no different. If Pink Floyd had never existed I don't know where I'd be. Probably dead from sewer-slide, considering how many times their music got me through the darkest points in my life.

Roger is trying to push every leader to sit together and finally come to a human decision of all the conflicts and says the truth in their faces whilst Gilmore writes a stupid "anti war" song with an untalented singer and encourages people to send money to Ukraine instead of doing what Roger has been doing for the last 30 years. Roger points out all the mistakes in politics in last decades which lead to conflicts and tries everything he has to make people realize that, and for that he's being accused in being antisemitic. Because he says an inconvenient truth about those people and Gilmore tries to use those accusations to steal Pink Floyd's legacy completely. Don't listen to Draiman or Gilmore, they showed they'd better have the conflicts go on instead of admitting the truth

Met David Draiman in 2014, he was doing a show with his other band at a club I worked at. He’s a little man with a huge chip on his shoulder… I doubt he really cares , it’s just very rock n roll to insult one of the fathers of rock like Waters… just draiman showing how punk he is insulting waters. Waters is as racist as anyone is from that time, I believe they all are to an extent , it’s the way it was for old white people from the time waters came up. That’s no excuse for being a bigot but I don’t think Roger’s is anymore racist then any of the other old rockers from then. Dudes an icon and a legend. If his racism is showing a little , dude gets a pass in my book, he’s done enough good in the world to be an asshole.

Anyone who has listened to anything Roger Waters has ever written, sang, or done should be able to understand that Roger Waters is NOT an antisemite. One would think that an artist like Draiman or Gilmore would understand context. We live in a world now that the immediate reaction to anything that doesn’t fit a certain narrative is met with personal attacks to the person’s character. As soon as I hear someone call someone else “an apologist”, I pretty much stop listening.

Now I will have to disagree with that. It's why I no longer have anything to do with my male biological parent's side of the family. Hank 3 is the only one that I respect out of the scene for his side project fast track. Saw him live years ago at the observatory back in Santa Ana CA with Matt Kindred. He and I had a blast that night too BTW for those who are curious about what happened to me. I have my cat Precious and I got offered Des Moines IA to get housing for Precious and me both here. Real estate is way beyond affordable in the OC California. Or LA & Riverside counties as well too. When I had the opportunity to get in touch with Joey (Jordison) as part of Scar the Martyr right before Vimic I begged for the opportunity to get housing for Precious and me both before I died on the streets homeless. I boarded my cat Precious so she stayed safe while I was homeless back in the OC California. We're together now 9 years almost now together and then I'm clean and sober too now. The last fight I had with Matt Kindred scared me so much that I changed my life and follow the AA program 90 meetings in 90 days. I got better and I am happy beyond my wildest dreams today with my cat Precious with me here in our own apartment too. As long as we're together I'll be fine and so will my cat Precious too. Adam Dyet be damned for lying to me & everyone else about the Rev. Like David Draiman I'd risk going to jail myself if I ever had to see Adam Dyet again. Soon I will have a new last name.
