Yes, thanks for the update... If I remember correctly, you have skills in so far as getting everything ship shape. Could you do some follow-up videos... they'd be much appreciated. I've been looking at doing something similar for 10+ years, but have never pulled the trigger.. If your ever in Margate on a coastal trip.. give me a heads-up and I'll treat you to a fish supper.
Your 'landing fee' of 1300 quid must've stung. Nice boat at the end of it though. I'm in NZ and have been tempted by these Ali boats for a while, so thanks for the videos, really good to get a close up look!
Hi, great looking boat, don’t suppose you could share a link to the actual one you bought? Other people have commented but I also would be very interested in the final cost delivered. Very interesting videos. Always looked at these boats myself and thought it was too good to be true! Thanks
What was the final price? You didn't mention the final price. After the cost of the boat, accessories, shipping, and arrival fees how much did it ultimately cost?
Great posts !! Always been on the fense assumed it’s was too good to be true like others said. It’s been about 9 months I’m curious how the glue and seems are holding up would love to hear about the 9 month experience and some videos of you driving
Thanks for the videos, have been looking at doing this for a while, but was, as you wer, Amoy sure it would work out. Would you recommend getting a shipping agent to handle all the shipping and taxes etc, would it streamline costs or not? Also, have been looking for the import duty but when looking on HMRCm have only seen VAT when getting the shipping code nothing about duty, what did you pay for that? Trying to get all the fees in advance to avoid any nasty surprises.
100% recommend getting a shipping agent. I had VAT and import duty to pay, which was all handled start to finish by my agent. He charged about £100 for the service from memory. Worth every penny
Nice boat and good luck with it. I understand your choice of material and going for PVC vs. Hypalon, bit if I can ask - how much was the price difference?
It’s been about 9 months I’m curious how the glue and seems are holding up would love to hear about the 9 month experience and some videos of you driving
I didn't quite understand well, 3000 dollars cost him the boat and in shipping how much was it in the end? 30%? Did anyone understand how much it cost him in total to have the boat at home already?
Firstly great info and video Any issues with glue or PVC deterioration to date? Seems you keep it undercover and no harsh sunshine where you live - English weather and all ,lol ,but in all seriousness I have seen some shockers in relation to “ *glue, bonding, and tube quality* Thanks mate. I’m in FNQ Australia so it’s a major concern
Do you just rent a truck to pick up the box from the ship terminal? How does that work? Do you have to show them ID and then you're allowed to pick it up?
I would love the opportunity to sell THIS gentleman a used car... If I have to explain you probably bought one of these boats too... 'Nuff said!!!.... LMAO. Thanks for posting, I needed the entertainment.
So you got absolutely bent over and spanked when it came to buying this boat. Base cost is $3000? Lol and you got add ons on top of that? Yeah you wayyyy over paid. 🤦🏻♂️
Would be good to see the boat out on the water in another video , and keep us updated on whether she was a good purchase.
Congrats on the new baby ... Thanks for doing this update ..

How much was the boats total price and the total price on shipping?
Around 7500. Which price jumped a bit mostly because the boat are from oversea which means shipping, custom and registration fee are gonna be there.
@@VM-yt2fj still a great price Atleast half of what these super basic high fields go for half the size.
Hey man, how much did you pay for the boat at the end with shipping and customs? Did you need any specific paperwork for the customs from the seller?
Bump
Curious as well… how is it going at the moment? I’m looking to buy one as well.

I am a Dutchman living in China and we build rib and inflatable boats too. Pvc is welded and now we make aluminum hulls too.
Hi how much was evrything in total not including the engine
congratulations for your videos.. I wanted to know how much the rib cost you without shipping, thanks
It was about $2k without the import costs and extras.
Nice looking boat mate!
Are your red/green lights on the right way?
In Australia Red is on the Port (left) side?
Thanks! Yeah they were, luckily just caps that pull off so easily switched around.
Did it also come with the engine from the manufacturer?
He had an outboard motor
Nice boat and good luck with it.
I understand your choice of material and going for PVC vs. Hypalon, bit if I can ask - how much was the price difference?
Thanks! Yeah sure, difference was $1000

Did you purchase the motor with the boat from Alibaba?
No I bought the engine as a wreck then rebuilt which I’ve also made a video on.
