Really crisp sounds that you can determine, like someone reloading. Great build quality as well. But it is a heavy headset so long gaming sessions it can get bothersome, you do kind of get used to it tho

My main FPS is theHunter Call of the Wild (it's in 1st Person and you shoot) and I find that certain headsets are a lot better for what it needs in terms of spatial awareness, sound stage, the boom of the rifles, footsteps of both you and what you're tracking, plus the background noise like wind and chirping birds. I still haven't found the perfect one, but I've found some that come really close to what I'm looking for when playing that game.
Great recommendations! I would like to add to the list is the Philips shp 9500. It is kinda old but it is very budget friendly with incredible soundstage and still relevant and competitive with today’s headsets. You can never go wrong with these 😉
they also dont seem to have a microphone, I know you can get cables with inline mics but not worth spending the extra 15-30 dollars, whatever it might be to get a microphone@@satinkuti5875
Good choice actually , I having been trying quite many gaming headsets in the past few years, Penrose x, nova pro, turtle beach gen2 , stealth 600 gen 2 max and so on, my final idea is that: if you want no lag, zero latency and best quality of sound, get one dac and go wired , then the choice will be pc38x, Epos h6 pro and VZR , that ‘s the final solution 😂

I’d like to see that as well. I bought the Pro’s and was very excited, unfortunately that faded pretty fast. I ended up returning them. I didn’t find them very comfortable, sound would crackle and kind of cut out. I hated that volume wheel and honestly for me, the Gen 2 Max is the best sounding headset I’ve ever had. I know sound is subjective but to me the sound and basically everything else on the Gen 2 Max was far superior.
I have the G Pro, it works ok for me. It's the most expensive headset I owned so I can't compare it with something else. What could have been better is the cushions... my ears barely touch the inside, it's not pressing a lot, but it's still annoying.

Hs65 Fortnite eq and Dolby atmos game mode standard via an amp is litterally mind blowing full immersion full imagining huge stage and core fps like footsteps and movement. It’s weird how a eq and Dolby makes these out the box mufflers sound like £1000 headphones. I own and adore Fiio ft3s and there amazing at everything litterally everything all gaming all movies all music . But the most mind bending two times I ever heard in a headphone in game was re 4 remake Dolby atmos amped hs65 .. and Fortnite eq ed and Dolby atmos .. two times I was utterly and totally blown away
Mine were so good BUT they have a flaw. This headset will last that 2-3 years and then the right side dies. Bought a second one and same 2 years and dead. Then I decided I don't wanna support this sort of products. Also... Repairing these are a nightmare.
i just got the recon 500 headset, but the right ear didnt work. so it only played sound through 1 ear, later on it was fixed and it sounded amazing. an after i extended the headband size the right ear didnt work again :/ i tried it on any device and its no difference. i think ill return it and never buy from TB again

Keep up the great work Out of the 3 headsets the Logitech has by far the best imaging for FPS games However, if we’re talking budget headsets, I would go for the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 with super amp. You can get that now for £100 and sometimes cheaper and it’s a proper headset with excellent imaging and accurate bass, mids and highs. It’s budget now, but it was once £200 and beats any headset out there for imaging including the latest Audeze Maxwell and SteelSeries Nova’s
The closed headphones for me are much more precise and stronger when it comes to wanting an enemy or knowing from which direction the shots are coming, but the open ones listen better to the game environment, birds, wind, etc. And I say this because I have a Logitech G Pro X and PC38x Open Back, If I had to play God of War I would choose PC38X, and for csgo Logitech G Pro X, I also noticed that if you play car games the closed ones are better, the open ones don't sound like you have the sound inside your ear, but like you are at a certain distance and that makes the sound of the engine sound less powerful to say the least. manner. I don't know how to explain it, for example if I use my Logitech G Pro X and I listen to the typical ASMR that sucks my ear, I hear it as it would be in real life, as if someone was sucking my ear. And if I hear the same thing with my PC38X I hear as if they were sucking an ear 2 or 3cm from my ear, as if it weren't mine.

I own a pair of G Pro X and have tried my friend’s Blackshark V2. Even though they both sound great, their soundstage and imaging are poor. I prefer wired headsets cuz I can plug them into soundcards or DAC but, to my surprise, the best sounding headset around this price point is G535 Wireless (BT ones are not as good). But the build quality is nowhere near G Pro X.
I got a turtle beach recon 500 from your old videos for 20$ ( with shipping ) I am pretty satisfied with it but if you get some decent sound amplifier it will be much louder.

So I ended up with recon 500. .. so go watch some videos compare headphones to each other,which would you like or be more useful to you. And choose 1 there is more choice than this 2 just have to increase your budget a bit

Probably because they’re trash lol. But seriously I’ve tried all the Astro’s $150 and up and hated them all. Some of their more reasonably priced ones might be good but their “premium” ones are anything but. For the better part of almost a decade now they’re only top tier to mostly people who don’t research this stuff. You won’t find many serious gamers or gamers who care about overall sound quality using them

For console Turtle Beach all day as I personally think Razer products suck with console. But on pc you’d probably be fine with either one. As I haven’t tried either of them, especially on pc, I don’t want to give you a strong yes or no to either. Just that turtle beach is more tried and true for me.
For around 50$ I would recommend the Corsair HS50 Pro. I got them a couple years ago and I was quite happy with them. Better than the HyperX Cloud II I had before. Then the pleather only lasts one year with my sweat and I can't change earpads and got the Blackshark v2 and they're better, but almost twice the price.

People who are looking for gaming headphones are looking for the best positional sound at a low price, I understand that there are headphones of 500/800dls much better, but not everyone wants to listen to music in 4k hdr, they just want to know if their enemies are coming from left to right , up or down.
