4 Ways to Pick-Up and Knit Stitches

- In this video I demonstrate 4 different methods for picking-up and knitting stitches in your knitting. To fast-forward to a particular method, see my time stamps below.
Often in knitting there are techniques where there are multiple methods to accomplish the same thing and that is definitely the case with "pick-up and knit". In this video I'll show you 4 different common methods I've seen and used before that all provide similar results but each has pro's and con's depending on your particular knitting circumstance and comfort level. Thank you!! I have always just “winged” it. Not sure exactly how I have done it in the past. It’s been awhile since I made anything that required picking up stitches. I will certainly come back and look at this video again when I need to pick up stitches
This was perfect timing for me and very helpful. I had a sweater to finish and needed to pick up stitches for the collar. I ended up using method #1 as seemed to be the best for my garment. Thank you!
Thank you. I always was confused since different people showed me different methods so I was always thinking I was doing it wrong. Now, I understand that there are several methods and depending on the yarn, I may choose a different one.
