Thats what I was gonna say lotta dropped passes but his O Line wasn't helping him that much and he was still able to make some plays out of nothing I thought
The QB on the Hawaii team is playing for the same school that McKenzie Milton (UCF QB) played for and he’s also committed to Army if anyone is wondering
There's a lot of different ranking systems but the most nationally known ranking system which is Maxpreps has Bosco as #1 and MD #2 and IMG #3 so its whatever people wanna use. I like to stick with the most credible one which is Maxpreps.
That's why I think they need to play for ranking not base it on schedules and win loss .let all the state champs play in section tournaments until you have the. Too two teams and have a national championship game .why not? I guess money and maybe time it would drag out the season far into the year but still let the teams prove there ranks .just my thoughts
It's easy to be the #1 ranked school in the State and Nation when you a private school and can recruit and probably offer scholarships to Cali's top athletes
@Albert Jay Is this a joke😂😂 SJB has some of the top recruits in the nation. They play in the same league as the #1 team in the nation. Take that shit somehwere else, MD beat IMG and BG last time BG came to Texas they destroyed Cedar Hill 44-14. And when Bishop Amat came to Aledo and smacked em 42-7? What would they not be ready for plz tell me. I lived in Texas my family does too what do you know that I don't plz.
Billy Ayakawa in the NATION?!? I seriously doubt that you keep up with top prep football around the nation. Like I said, Saint Louis would be a better matchup, but the outcome would only be slightly better, maybe 42-17.
F. Meacham lol you’ve never seen Hawai’i football. A team that made Marcus and tua. Mililani is 6th in the state. St. Louis is gonna beat them by more than Bosco did
Spencer Brinton I’m on a team called konawaena in Hawaii and trust me mililani isn’t even that good compared to some of our other Hawaii teams look for st Louis vids you’ll see
@@mikahcarroll1287 In all honesty, Mililani is probably the #2 or #3 team in Hawaii as of right now. Its hard to tell if Mililani or Punahou is better but I have to agree with you that St. Louis is the #1 team in Hawaii. Also, keep in mind that St Louis almost lost to Punahou a few weeks ago (scores was 35-28)
draco malfoy bruh konaweana sucks when they went against Waiākea it should have been a close game becuz Waiākea was doing pretty good they scored like 4 touchdowns against them but the stupid idiot refs just suck and they only put 1 touchdown up on the board and they put flags for no reason at all so yea they would’ve lost to Waiākea or it would have been a close game
Of course. So cal teams like mater dei bosco lead the nation in recruiting transfers to their schools. They were tired ofngetting their asses kicked by small school called DeLaSalle
@@khure711 lol all those players are locals many of those kids you see on u14 teams go to MD, Bosco or the public school in their area. Cali can't recruit out of state its against CIF rules. Kids from 14u go to those schools for the competition and to be the position to go D1
Private school vs public school cmon now private school is recruited public school is rooted so even though we ranked number 4 every year will always change its not fair to place two teams where one can easily maintain a legacy over the other
dbuckettss left hand talent in Hawaii but there have been many right handers from Hawaii also like Marcus Mariota, UCF QB McKenzie Milton and Ole Miss QB Jeremiah Ta’amu
Saint bosco Qb played their and beat out a Qb who had a good year but he came in as a sophomore and took over a lotta players been there since freshman their training is just on another level
Mililani came out scrappy and fought the whole game. 52-14 on a off day for Bosco ain't too shabby either. DJ is flatout the best qb in the country. He made it look easy even with pressure cuz he would step up in the pocket and deliver a strike to 5 different receivers that all got tds last night.
Hawaii receivers can definitely block pretty good, but they need to work on catching. Also there defense needs to work on tackling, there was a lot of missed tackles on there part.
They all go to Qb Camps held by the top Qb coach in the nation,Coach Vinny Passas, who has been St. Louis Qb coach for like the last 40 years,That's why they get the best Qb talent in the state year after year.Tua went to these high school camps since his Pop Warner days,Chevan Cordeiro starting QB at UH as a freshman.Remember this name,Kekahi Graham whose in the 8th grade at St.Louis ,has a bright future ahead if he stays healthy
DJ continues learning hes going top rewrite the position of QB I really feel that way... that kids ONLY actually played like 4-5 years total of ball..2 of that on bench and cleanup.... He got more D1 offers as a backup than he has as a starter as a player at Bosco...lol ...he had 20 offers to D1 before he started a game
Im from hawaii so considering they r playing the number 1 team in the nation and this is the no. 4 team from hawaii which doesnt have many schools to begin with....they did pretty good
Saint Louis played Bosco in 2014 and got wrecked. Also, SL had Tua as QB...honestly I don’t know if SL would throw an upset but it would be a good game to see.
Tua was still a sophomore and St. Louis wasn't even close to being the top team in Hawaii in 2014. If I recall, the top 2 teams in Hawaii in 2014 were Punahou (#2 team in Hawaii as of right now) and Mililani. I think Mililani won the championship in 2014 because they had Mackenzie Milton as their QB. (Mackenzie Milton is the current UCF QB and heisman candidate)
In 2014 Punahou was ranked #1 until Mililani defeated them in the finals. However, my comment wasn’t to knock SL, it was stating facts of their last match up and to know that if they played right now, it would be a good game.
@@aaronf.3265 Respected. My bad for the misinterpretation. Punahou and Kahuku were always the top football schools but St. Louis has had such a great run these past 2-3 years.
ALOHAStatus808 SL was in a slump for a little while, but has always been considered the MOST winningest team in Hawaii with the most State Championships. The sheer volume of college and professional talent that has come out of SL is astonishing. No other team or high school football program in Hawaii comes close. This year SL has the potential to make an undefeated Championship run. Punahou has only been relevant since 2006, prior to that almost non-existent. Kahuku on the other hand is another great football program yet majority of the time they came runner up to SL and for a school like Castle to have beat them in 2003 and denied them a chance to go to States shows that every team needs to be taken seriously.
St John’s Bosco ran a great offense, maybe Florida State can learn something from them. Same type of play calling but way more efficient and lethal. Screens, swings, seams, slants, and hard nose running.
I looked in the description for that beat in the beginning but I still can’t find it, please if anyone knows of the whereabouts for this beat plz let me know
Hawaiian QB name is Dillon Gabriel and recently signed to UCF
And is now the starting QB as Frosh after 3 games, future is bright despite losing in a great game vs Pitt Panthers on Saturday
