Spectrum Mobile I live in Washington and I can tell you that this School plays in western Washington where the schools there aren’t that good at football but are better at soccer, where I live, in central Washington, football is more competitive and I can tell you that Archbishop Murphy wouldn’t be undefeated in central Washington.

When I played football we sucked like we held the record for the most losses over a six year period. I remember playing a team that went on to go deep into the playoffs , we still played them and we lost big 63-0 , but quitting was never an option. Not a great lesson to teach in sports , I learned life lesson from football that have helped me in life still to this day.

I play for the Trojans, so reading this was cool. We lost 48-0 but then we played them again last year and only lost by a touchdown or two and we scored a TD on the first play. Those 2 games taught our team so much compared to playing other teams.
Just some extra info, I went to a high school very close to AMHS. The reason all teams were forfeiting was because their school was allegedly illegally recruiting players to their school, and thus the coaches from other teams wanted no part in that. I'm not sure if those allegations were true, but that was a large part why many teams forfeit their games to not play against them. And also yea they would get slammed.
they are 100% true. If you look at where half those kids are from, it’s not Washington. Most are from Cali, Texas, and Alabama. They’re a private school so they can get away with it because Washington doesn’t have any rules against Private schools recruiting. That’s a reason why Eastside Catholic is so good too. They don’t have to follow the same rules yet they get to play in the same division.

I am a defensive end and offensive tackle. 6'3 230lbs. I love getting up to the line and seeing guy who is 6'4-6'5, because that means I can usually get lower than him and drive him better. The lower man almost always wins in the lineman game. That's just my 2 cents. When I played football we sucked like we held the record for the most losses over a six year period. I remember playing a team that went on to go deep into the playoffs , we still played them and we lost big 63-0 , but quitting was never an option. Not a great lesson to teach in sports , I learned life lesson from football that have helped me in life still to this day.
Well there is a school in Alabama that is on a 91 game losing streak so hopefully that will make you feel better about your team

I understand the other parent's concerns, but if they feel that strongly against it. Then maybe football isn't the correct sport for them. You shouldn't punish one team because they are too good or big.
I play for the Trojans, so reading this was cool. We lost 48-0 but then we played them again last year and only lost by a touchdown or two and we scored a TD on the first play. Those 2 games taught our team so much compared to playing other teams.

Just some extra info, I went to a high school very close to AMHS. The reason all teams were forfeiting was because their school was allegedly illegally recruiting players to their school, and thus the coaches from other teams wanted no part in that. I'm not sure if those allegations were true, but that was a large part why many teams forfeit their games to not play against them. And also yea they would get slammed.
they are 100% true. If you look at where half those kids are from, it’s not Washington. Most are from Cali, Texas, and Alabama. They’re a private school so they can get away with it because Washington doesn’t have any rules against Private schools recruiting. That’s a reason why Eastside Catholic is so good too. They don’t have to follow the same rules yet they get to play in the same division.

I am a defensive end and offensive tackle. 6'3 230lbs. I love getting up to the line and seeing guy who is 6'4-6'5, because that means I can usually get lower than him and drive him better. The lower man almost always wins in the lineman game. That's just my 2 cents. Now if you are running the ball and scared of getting hit by a bigger guy then why are you even at that position or playing football at all?? Go join the swim team or something

It sounds like they just need to be put in a higher division. My school was AAAA but in the state we have A to 6A so they just need to play against schools who have more students. High School football pretty much boils down to how big your school is because a school of 2000 is gonna have more giant kids than a school of 150 by sheer statistics.

What's hard to understand? Archbishop Murray is a private high school that scouts its talent from all over the world. While they play against public schools where scouting players is illegal. The public schools get players from the population of the school district only while Archbishop Murphy gets a whole scouting office like they are in the NFL. Private schools like this should play other private schools because this is just unfair.
