Great piece! He’s a young man with huge skills. Thanks! (I’m JKD Kali some experience in Hollywood too) both of you very dedicated martial artists. Great to see!
"I believe that the true expert is someone who still has a students heart & a beginners mind" I love that line. It's so true because you can ALWAYS learn more
Excellent episode, thankyou for sharing and inspiring, as a Japanese jiu jitsu student that also practices fma I'm super glad you gave it a go, as the movements and control are 'other worldly' to our core arts (and hurt my head more than my body at times lol) well done on your continued journey
Good day to you I just stumbled upon your Channel... excellent Bravo I bow to you sir. I myself have been practicing the martial arts now for 54 years I started at the age of 3. I tell my students constantly the belt keeps your guy closed after a while some of them realize what I'm saying it takes a little while but things to sink in I practice Okinawan karate Samurai jiu jitsu and Kali and with all the years of studying and my red belt hanging on the wall I tell my students you never know everything there's always more to learn even if you don't experience all the systems your own style there is so much to learn I've. Did some boxing Muay Thai traditional fencing and the list goes on I guess what I'm trying to say is you're a man after my own heart keep the hunger going keep accumulating knowledge I don't want this text to be much longer than this but I will say that my dad my teacher as I called him always said to me you never stop learning and I'm keeping that alive so again great Channel looking forward to your other videos hope you have a great day I hope you are well .
Again. I love your video format. Most of the time the "masters" are willing to talk. If for interest and nothing but...these videos are definitely recommended for MA fans. Having said that..."Filipino knife arts"...why people really study it I have to wonder. Do most just want to be a badass and like John Wick? Are they all naive in thinking if they study for 10-20 years they'll be unstoppable? That when attacked on the street it will either only be one-on-one? Or, that the gangs will only attack one at a time? :) Have they looked into the legal aspects of studying, carrying a "fighting knife" and using it to "defend". That they might need to prove it in court after they seriously insure the attacker or kill him (or them)....assuming he survives. It's harder to take another life than most people know. Than most students of this art understand...unless they are just some cold blooded nut that has no regard for human life. It's very hard to have the mindset needed not being military and never ever being in that position over and over...as if you were a soldier at war. Would have liked have heard some one talk about the legal aspects of using a fighting knife or carrying one. In many cities it's illegal. Getting caught just carrying one could land that person in jail.
Hahaha overloaded! 1:45 the handler can help. Wait ,i know this guy! That's the fan of the arenas Grandmaster 2:29 Ah! Investor skill+ Invested shop are handles skill .😊
The art of catching a Life Sentence so you can retire to a secluded gladiator school called Penitentiary where you'll get to practice your art until your leave earth.
Mr. Ford, do you plan to do an episode with Robert Redfeather sifu. His birthday is coming up. He'd be a good candidate for your 52masters series. Thank you.
The guro's surname is appropriate to his deadly skills .. catacutan or as spelled in Filipino katakutan.. means fearsome.. or frightening.. which he is indeed ..

Amazing bro...
Mano Po... Great Video.
DOPE project!
Jay Jasper Pugao Thanks!!!
Irony is that Katakutan means feared.
The guro's surname is appropriate to his deadly skills .. catacutan or as spelled in Filipino katakutan.. means fearsome.. or frightening.. which he is indeed ..
his last name Catacutan means literally "to be feared" a surname given only to the historically rooted filipino warriors lineage.
Interesting channel.

Gano kagaling si Andres Bonifacio s itak.

Kali Majapahit ?
What's the point of this video?
Kali is a bullshit term coined by fil-ams. Rather stick to the terms Arnis or Eskrima to pay respect to the elderly pinoys
Cap America Thank you for watching, thank you for your input.
