Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!
I think I explained everything now. Enjoy and have a great day!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All musics, gameplay and content included within this video are transformative, creative, have educational value and this recording are from my own gameplay. I'm also the one that created that concept video ideas. No copyright infringement is intended.

First time we go a dark type gym leader and...
This is perfect!
Metal drums and pokemon style just works.
@Surpasingly Psyquieous No because people will complain so it's better if I put nothing..
@Surpasingly Psyquieous Boohoo, can't please everyone
Yes! Dark-Type Gym! Awesome! This music is sufficiently hype! You and Serebii do this community a great service!
I thought the same 🥰
One thing I noticed Piers did that no other gym leader did that really made him stand out was that instead of "saving the best for last", he talks up the entirety of his team: Scrafty's intimidate, malamar's contrary, the main man obstagoon, and skuntanks sucker/toxic combo. He doesn't just focus on an ace, every one of his pokemon have a role to play unlike the other dynamax-focused gym leaders
Also bare in mind, he's the 3rd Strongest Trainer in the region after Leon and Raihan, and that's without using Dynamax, dud is straight up powerful without relying on gimmicks. He problemly despises Mega Evolution and Z moves too.
And it's cause of that hes actually able to almost beat raihan even when he Gmaxes his duraludon.
He's definitely got a feel like an old-style gym leader, and while all of them put in the time and effort to get strong, the only thing holding him back is the lack of dynamaxing. He even says the chairman offered to build him a stadium that would let him use it and he refused on principle. As a result his gym isn't as fancy and he and his trainers have to get by on pure effort. It's a nice touch that the punk rocker would willingly do things the hard way in service to his ideology. It's also telling that he almost beat the strongest gym leader without it, and it's feasible that using it he could do a lot more. Alternately I guess he could add a member to his team specifically for the purposes of wrecking dynamax'd mons. That wouldn't be terribly difficult, provided a few things.
But you’ll still spam Dazzling Gleam anyway.
@@benobrien7920 i mean. . . I don't actually have any fairy types so I won't, especially since I went through main game with nuzlocke catch rules.
when the dark type gym leader is the one of nicest characters in the game
I heard the dark type is called the evil type in japanese and Piers completely proves that definition wrong
Yes marnie and piers are probably my favorite characters in the game. I never trusted chairmen rose since the opening scene when the game started. I knew he was going to end up being the bad guy. And peirs knew it too. He didn’t show up to the opening ceremony and didn’t dynamax. He knew the power was bad. I have a ton of respect for piers and he is officially my favorite gym leader of all time.
@@levistokes3960 he's my favourite as well. My character in the game looks like a Piers cult member I swear-
My friends think he's weird, but jokes on them; Idc about their opinions
@@aNeWhAnDToUchEsThEbEaCoN that’s kind of why I like him though. He’s unlike any other gym leader and he’s a really nice guy too.
@@shpaghettishpaghetti6219 Nope, just punk
Roxie: Blasts music in her gym
Piers: Blasts music in his entire TOWN
They would make a great duo in show stages.
Piers will have a guitarrist at his side to help with songs melody.
Next gen this should be a duo team in battle tower/stadium/whatever they call it now
The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure Roxie says she admires Piers in Masters
At least Roxie has a voice.
Roxie: P O K E M O N pokemon
Piers: ......
Reasons to love Piers:
- he’s the first official dark type gym leader
- he almost beat Raihan’s gigantamax without even using dynamax. A strong boi
- he was offered a big ass stadium but declined to stick to his principle of not dynamaxing
- he dislikes dynamax because it’s unnatural(?)
- he’s really helpful in the post story
And most importantly,
- he’s an amazingly caring and supportive older brother, not only to Marnie but to Hop too. I mean come on, he created a whole ass punk fan club to support his sister and help her gain more confidence.
Hell yeah
Plus, how he talks about ALL of his Pokemon instead of focusing on his ace only like other leaders
Piers is literally my favourite Character from this entire game, even though I haven't actually played it myself yet... I will one day, as I'll be getting Shield to call Zamazenta after the Character "Naofumi" from "The Rising of the Shield Hero"
@@infiraya he may not like Dynamaxing, but that's his choice on the matter, he can do what he wants
Was doing some of the tournaments postgame and one time Piers actually ended up beating Raihan in my game lmaooo
There's no evil organization in this game. Just Rose not having his coffee for a minute.
Best way to summarize these games, and that's just sad.
Swsh just *lacks epicness.* I'm all for a "secret evil Team" like they did in Sun&Moon. But in Swsh, they just took the same idea and forgot _everything_ that made it awesome.
Team Skull was touching, Aether Foundation was malicious.
Team Yell is useless, Macro Cosmos appears for a single 15 minutes event and their boss just loses his temper for the time of a single battle. I don't even know why he fought us, really. "I just released a beast that I know I can't control, but I'll fight you instead of helping to stop it!". That was just dumb.
@@Dante02d12 Yeah, you're right
Although I love SwSh, they should have worked on that *a lot*
I, also, really like the concept of a secret evil organisation, like Aether Foundation, which they did perfectly in Sun & Moon
The idea of Macro Cosmos as the bad guys wasn't completely bad, and I actually think it's good, but they handled it insufficient
It could have been almost as good as the Aether Foundation 'event', if they made defeating them more part of the story instead of a small 15 min thingy. I mean, it does progress the storyline, but it doesn't quite feel like it's as important as it's supposed to be. For a company that everyone, throughout the whole game, claims as the most influential in Galar, they don't seem and act like that. I know that not every member of Macro Cosmos agreed on taking part in Chairman Rose's plans, but I'm sure there should be at least more than 6 or so.
While Aether was a big organisation with many members, a big 'hideout' and different smaller boss battles, Macro Cosmos was basically just chasing that one guy around, entering a lift where you battle about 6 people and fighting Rose
That's what made it less epic
Team Yeall was nice for what it was, but I don't think of them as "the evil team"
They're just a bunch of loving, sometimes toxic, fans and although they definitely don't fill the space of an actual evil team, I like them. I can't really compare them with Team Skull tho, because they weren't an *evil* organisation either.
But what makes Team Skull still sucessfully filling the "evil team place" is that they actually are a big group (+ two great bosses), actually do some rather bad stuff and also make more, and also more *important*, appearances in the game. All in all, they are relevant and an important part of the story in Sun & Moon.
Especially the last point is where Team Yell was lacking
Well, atleast they matched with Galar's whole "trainers are famous celebrities with many fans"- vibe, which was good
The fact that they support Marnie is also cute.
Still, Game Freak should have taken more time for SwSh's "evil organisation plot", *especially for Macro Cosmos*
Or tried adding a third, villainous, team to the game. Since there wasn't much time of the story spent on interacting with Team Yell, there would have been time for something like that, I guess
They already, kind of, attempted something similiar to that with Sordward and Shielbert, but they, as a 'bad team', also felt kind of dull (although their family background is somewhat interesting)
Oh god...this got longer than I wanted xD
Sorry!
@@maraacuja6960 You're right!
I don't think the story needed a third vilain though: it _already_ has that, with Eternatus ^^.
To be honest, I also liked the _ideas_ of the story, especially Marnie and her fanboys. But Team Yell is really too useless... If they made something happen (for example: their cheating constantly could end up with Marnie being accused to cheat and fired from the competition), it would be better.
But as it is, Marnie, Team Yell, even Piers are useless to the main plot.
Personally, I hate these games, and frankly, I'm sad to say it: I actually enjoyed the first half, the discovery of the new region, the new Pokemons.
But the game really felt unfinished. And I'm actually not surprised: we know they raised their production rate. They released 4 games in a row (from SM in 2016 to SwSh in 2019), and it's the first time that this happens. it is pretty clear that they were overwhelmed with work. I really hope, for the sake of the franchise, that they'll slow down. Their games are usually awesome, so I can't imagine how better it could be if they took a few more years to develop each one of them!
Rose gets impatient and Oleana has a hard time telling him not to cause armageddon
I'm glad, i was so tired of the "we are evil for...", it was refreshing see a "oh we fucked this"
Years later, i still defend this guy and the gym for giving us a classic gym battle. No gimmicks, just two trainers using their skills
This is the example of a big shot
I can't be the only one that doesn't uses Dynamax in his battles in tournaments
It’s another good reason love this battle! Wanted to go in without doing preparation aside from healing. No type advantages, just head to head
This was the only gym to give even a little challenge.
I love that about the Piers fight. Hell, in the champion tournaments when you can fight him again, I still don't Dynamax against him
Piers is so badass
He was the 2nd strongest Gym Leader in the entire region without needing Dynamaxing cause he hates it
That demands some respect
It's also said he gave raihan's gigantamax some problems and if they were on a even playing field Piers can win
Hell with a full team of 6 and a dynamax band I’m certain the dude can take down leon
@@shortfuze6870 now that's debatable. But for sure the guy deserves some recognition and deserves to be one of the best in the region
@@dannythemysterious8221 If Leon or Raihan do not Gigantamax their Pokémon, believe, Piers definitely would stomp them...even Gordie with enough practice and expertise (in his card says so)
@@dannythemysterious8221 they were on an even playing feild, he had the option to dynamax but didn't. the only one who held peirs back was himself.

CyanVoltage Peirs is a punk rocker. Punks are all about rebelling against the establishment.
Technically, his ace is Obstagoon, but he does give equal attention to his entire team.

@@aapelinyrhila5540 I didn't play shield or sword but I like this gym leader
He's technically the leader of Team Yell, or rather the person who got some people together to cheer on his little sister. Some of those people took it a tad far.
Is he the first dark-type leader? I could have sworn there was another
Lets imagine the plot, but expanded further:
Rose was requiring the use of Dynamax Battles at the gyms, then harvesting the energy to power the Galar region.
Piers disagreed with this, and refused to Dynamax. So Rose did what he could with his seemingly limitless power to close off Spikemuth, pulling a "Mr. Burns" and covering the town with a ceiling, cutting short their power, and decimating the local economy. And he can make it stop, as long as Piers agrees to his demands. But he refuses.
Marnie leaves to become the champion, believing it'll allow her to expose what Macro Cosmos is doing.
Piers sends his gym trainers, in disguise, to protect Marnie and help her win by any means neccessary.
They need the expose Rose to the world, even if it means shouting his crimes from the rooftops. So he calls them, Team Yell.
This is beautiful. This would be a great plot for a revenge fanfiction.
wtf thats really good
What the plot could have been.

Also the first Gym Leader to have his own battle theme? Correct me if I am wrong.
I just realized that the Team Yell logo is the Dark Gym logo rotated
I noticed that before I knew there was a dark type gym and I thought mabye marnie was gonna be the gym leader and I was sorta right she became gym leader, but it was in the postgame
It's actually funny. If you go way back to the beginning of the game during the stadium when they are introducing the gym leaders and look at the left side at the end you can see the logo there the whole time which I thought was a nice subtle hint
Ooooooohh. I thought the team yell and dark gym logos were just styled after each other, not the same logo tilted!
It resembles a "d" for dark, an upside down "y" for yell and an upside down "p" for piers
* slow claps *
At first I didn't like Piers' design at all. But now, he might be my favourite gym leader yet. He, unlike everyone else, doesn't need dynamax/gigantamax to succeed and has territory that is functional unlike Po Town and Team Skull. Also notice how he was the only one absent in the introduction to the gym leaders, for a dark gym, im honestly impressed. He represents the complete undermining of authorities present in Britain in the later 60's.
I think he's supposed to more of a Guzma archetype.
The others were supposed to be hated so it isn't odd that they did terrible stuff like it was easy (Archie and Maxie were kinda dumb though, whereas Giovanni was a mafia boss and Cyrus was almost nihilistic).
I'm surprised you didn't mention Ghetsis, who is quite possibly the scummiest of all the villain team leaders.
@duraznoches I guess it makes him more of a vigilante rather than a villain. Its a breath of fresh air for the "villain" category of Pokemon.
EDIT: Quotation marks.
Giovanni was hidden from the gym leader list.
Giovanni is the leader of team rocket.

What's funny is I felt more pumped going up to face him than other gym leaders because of how the crowd blocks your path near the stage. It's like you're an outsider trying to challenge the mayor of a town
Kinda cool how the first dark type leader isn‘t revealed at the beginning when they show all gym leaders entering the stadium leaving it as a later surprise for players
To top it all not only is the first dark type gym leader if not like you say it gets his own theme, not even other important gym leaders get that honor like Cheren, Norman or Blue.

Piers is easily the best character in this game
- I absolutely adore his design and attitude, he's a bit snarky especially in the post game at Swordward and Shielbert and I love it
- He's the first official Dark type gym leader
- Kickass theme song with lots of guitar riffs and chants, really hammers home his British punk rocker theme
- He has a strategy that works so well, he almost beat Raihan's Gmax without using it himself (my theory is he hates it because he's afraid it may harm his Pokémon)
- He's super caring and supportive of his younger sister to the point he created a whole gang to make sure she's alright, and despite it not always going well, he really tries to do what he feels is right
- In Masters Ex, it shows he has a really sweet relationship with his Obstsgoon, and that it loves it when he sings songs to it and it even tries singing along, he really treats his Pokémon more like friends than just Pokémon
- Despite being a rockstar who people fawn over, he never once seems to let it get to his head, he's more "Hey, I'm just doing what I like, if you like it cool if you don't, cool"
I wouldn’t be surprised if Galar’s crown jewel of gym leaders played a part in Obstagoon being one of my top 3 favourite Pokemon of all time
It’s not that he hates Dynamax, it’s the fact that his town doesn’t have the space to do it and he just likes to play conservative which I respect. I mean hey when I rematch piers in the champions cup, I didn’t Dynamax I played normally.
I respect him a lot by not using Dinamax in battle with him, and I love doing it since his theme music is soo good
Lets also not forget he's the only Gym Leader with his own theme instead of the normal Gym Leader theme

Piers may be a dark-type specialist, but he is the morally brightest character in this game. Especially ironic considering dark type is the evil type in japan, so they made a guy who specializes in evil pokemon the moral center of the cast and an important ally in both the lategame and the postgame
My favorite thing about him is that he said before battle "we can’t dynamax but i hope you still have fun"
I think i had more fun fighting him than every other gym leader.
Nothing against Dynamax.I like it.But,Piers fight reminds me gen 1-5 when you just had your Pokémon and no other special Mechanic to help you out.

@@Shark-vi2cz For me, I beat all the dynamax gym leaders (except the first one) easily and didn't lose anyone. Raihan was beaten with a Pikachu. Piers was the only one I lost 2 Pokemon to, which surprised me.
I really love how Piers' gym battle was done the old fashion way. No dynamax, no stadium sized crowd, no television broadcast. Just battling on their home turf and besting their type. Plus, the fact that he's one of the last two gym leaders is proof that he can put up (and actually win) a fight against a dynamax using gym leader. This man was in a league of his own.
And add in the fact that he is actually famous for his music (despite not hearing him sing in-game) on top of that, making him actually quite popular with residents in Galar (as seen when he breaks the blockade to Rose's tower). The man deserves all the respect.

Mauricio Aguilar well at least with Blue and Cheren they have their own themes already but I get what you mean.
After fighting Piers, he's actually what I would expect from a real gym leader: no gimmicks, no paltry gambits, and a balanced team focusing on his type and his strengths.
