Thank you for exposing hack-o-lantern. It is criminally under rated. No one knows about it. I hadn't even heard of it until I watched it on Tubi about 6 months ago. What a well made horror movie. Very original, very good atmosphere, well written, with very memorable characters and moments. They did a great job with the spooky Halloween atmosphere. Thank you for letting people know about it.
@@fezenstein there is a handful of films I probably should’ve included and Satan’s Little Helper is one of them. I think I might do a 5 more films set on Halloween to include those.
Awesome list. Hell House LLC...I still think about it. Absolutely haunting. And Halloween III is incredible! I still need to get around to the WNUF Halloween Special. This could be the year!
Nice list! Haven't seen Hell House LLC or Midnight Hour but will check them out. Personally, was not a huge fan of WNUF Halloween but I understand the appeal. Good video!
I didn't know about Kenny & Co., cant wait to watch tonight! I always watch Trick r Treat (2007) and certain parts of that movie over and over again (Dylan Baker scenes).
Great list. I did a Halloween list for a website a few years ago and a few of the movies you talked about I picked and yes…completely agree on Halloween III
I almost forgot about Midnight Hour; we recorded that on VHS and my sisters and I used to watch it regularly. Great list, enjoyed the video; and subbed🤘🏼
@@CinematicVoid I forgot to mention, I watched and reviewed the whole Hellhouse LLC. franchise last year, including Carmichael Manor; I honestly enjoyed all 4 films. The 2015 original is vastly superior to the rest, though.

Halloween 3 for sure. Midnight Hour is a fun one. Trick 'r Treat, Tales of Halloween, The Barn (low budget but not bad), Murder Party, Trick or Treat are a few.
Hell House LLC is a great yearly watch! I also always watch Trick r Treat. Another one that I enjoy watching, even though it's not that good, is The Houses October Built, mostly for the vibes!
@@catahstrophic Trick R Treat I like a lot, but for some reason don’t always feel the seasonal pull to rewatch. I also kind of enjoy both of The Houses October Built films and I recently just caught the original documentary.
Good to see some love for Halloween 3. It's easily my favorite in the series and the one I watch the most. I'm not so married to Michael Meyers that I can't enjoy a Halloween movie without him in it. What's not to love about the story of a married man ditching his wife and kids to go solve a Halloween mask mystery with a pretty young lady he puts the moves on in a sleazy motel room. Tom Atkins is the best
Hey man, just wanted to say great channel. I stumbled across this randomly and this is a solid list. There’s a few in here I haven’t seen and I love the Halloween three choice. It’s a staple for me. I have to watch every year. I hated it as a kid, but I’ve loved it for the last couple decades. Never seen the midnight hour I’ll have to look into it. Anyway, as a fellow UA-camr, I like your channel we have things in common lol

I appreciate you thinking the sequel to night of the demons is as good as the original because I do too and I get irritated by the fact that no one else thinks this. I prefer part 2 over the original. It is more entertaining to me and I think it's better than the original.
I don’t personally think it’s overrated, because I still enjoy rewatching it. But I do think part 2 is equally as good and tend to revisit it quite a bit.
I’ll be honest- I don’t understand all the love for the original Halloween. It really isn’t very good and makes absolutely no sense. Far too many plot holes for my taste. I’m glad you went with Halloween 3.
Not trying to battle but what are the plot holes you see in Halloween? And what doesn't make sense? The original didn't have all the Laurie is his sister junk.
How a guy who was locked away for years learned to drive; how he found his way home (judging by the shift from night to day, it must have taken hours on the highway); how a guy who literally “spent his days staring at a wall” had the strength to manhandle a bunch of teens, how the cop let a psychiatrist hang around a murder scene; why the hardware store that Michael broke into was closed in the middle of the day (kids were in school so it wasn’t a holiday); how nobody saw a hulking masked guy with a knife trolling around town…
Now let me be honest with you. There's always someone like you who has to come with the "I don't understand all the love for such and such" rhetoric. It never fails. Anytime there's a popular movie that is beloved and has stood the test of time, here comes the naysayers. The ones who try to be cool and edgy by not understanding the adoration the popular movie gets and almost always go for the least popular film of the franchise just to prove a point. Don't get me wrong, I bear you no ill will, you are entitled to your opinion and there is no law saying you have to like the original Halloween, it's not going to be to everyone's liking, I get that. But when your opening statement is "I’LL BE HONEST- I DON’T UNDERSTAND ALL THE LOVE FOR THE ORIGINAL HALLOWEEN. IT REALLY ISN’T VERY GOOD AND MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE", well, it just seems like you're trying to be controversial or maybe even confrontational. In comparison to Halloween III: Season Of The Witch, you say that the original Halloween isn't a very good movie, and fair enough, that's your opinion, but you're definitely in the minority. Subjectively and objectively, most would agree that the original Halloween is a masterpiece of the genre and has rightfully earned all the praise it has accumulated in its almost 50 Years of existence. You continue by stating that the movie makes no sense, but I ask you, is a deranged killer in a mask attacking babysitters any more nonsensical than an evil toymaker who wants to kill a mass amount of children with booby-trapped Halloween masks? And let's not even get started on your second comment stating that the original Halloween has far too many plot holes. I mean yeah, you could take issue with the fact that Michael Myers a guy who stared at a wall for 15 Years all of a sudden knows how to drive an automobile. Or, you could just suspend your disbelief and go with the notion that he is the Boogeyman, and part of the charm is that not everything has to be explained. After all, if you're going to criticize Halloween then you should also be questioning and having issues with why a doctor (Tom Atkins in Halloween III) would suddenly up and abandon his job duties and family duties to run off with a woman he only met an hour ago to investigate her father's death? He's not a cop or a detective, so what could he really contribute? But hey, you know what, I just went with it because in the end, Halloween III: Season Of The Witch is a damn good movie, despite its few flaws. What I'm saying is that yeah, the original Halloween has its plot holes (like Halloween III), but the good far outweighs the bad. Once again, I'm not saying you have to like the original Halloween, but there is a reason why it's so beloved among horror fans and general movie-going fans. There's a reason why the original Halloween has been inducted into the National Film Registry by The Library Of Congress. There's a reason why the original Halloween has been successfully sold across multiple physical media platforms and in constant rotation on many different streaming platforms. And there is a reason why the original Halloween has so much more merchandising today than it did when it initially came out. Because the movie is damn good. But then again, so is Halloween III: Season Of The Witch, which wouldn't exist without the original.
Halloween III & Midnight Hour are favorites of mine. So much nostalgia. Very surprised to see them get mentioned so high on this list. Awesome!
