John Carpenter's vampires, Fright Night, The Lost Boys, From Dusk Til Dawn, Shadow of the vampire, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Near Dark, Interview with the vampire, 30 days of night, Monster Squad, I'll watch any vamp film :P I'll check out some on your list.
1: near dark 2: Martin 3: vampires kiss 4: lair of the white worm 5: thirst 6: the addiction 7: vamp 8: blood for Dracula 9: girl walks home alone at night 10: let the right one in
Great list, thank you! I have seen all of them except Ganja & Hess and Darkness - I look forward to seeing them based on your recommendation. I agree that Martin is an awesome movie!
WFLD Chicago used to play obscure horror movies Saturday mornings, which, in retrospect might have been inappropriate for general audiences. There was one, Lemora: A child's tale of the supernatural, which I saw at the age of six or seven. The imagery stuck with me, but I thought they were memories of a nightmare or fever dream until decades later I picked up an old VHS labeled simply "Lady Dracula."
@@Placidvenus that’s a really great one. Also a shame that the film elements for it have unfortunately vanished, which is why it hasn’t made the leap to blu-ray.
The Vampire is my favourite horror monster (thanks, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for converting me to them), and so I've seen a few good Vampire movies: Fright Night, Underworld, The Lost Boys, Blade, Dracula 1933, I even own Daybreakers and will happily watch that one day. I think of the lot, my favourite is easily Fright Night. Such a great concept executed well, warts and all.
good picks , now I`ll suggest some you may not know ,1. kolchak the night stalker ,2, blood and donuts . 3, dawn , from ,2003 . hard to find ,definitely worth watching , really different take on the vampire ! hunt them down ,I think you`ll like them .
Martin is absolutely the best vampire movie ever made, and George Romero always said it was his favourite of all his films. Cronos is a close second. And I would add Blacula and Scream Blacula Scream, as William Marshall elevated those two films to iconic status with his performance.
👍🏻 you could make multiple lists on vampires, Blade is one of my cheesy favorites, Lost Boys is a classic and Jennifer’s Body is one of my newer favorites.
From Dusk Till Dawn 1-3, John Carpenter's Vampires, Near Dark, Fright Night 1 & 2, Lost Boys, Queen of the Damned, The Forsaken are some of my favorites.
I've been reading through the comments just to see if my favorite was listed and surprisingly it wasn't. So people get out there and watch afflicted. Made for fairly little money by two best friends that have been making movies since they were kids and they fucking nailed it
First of all you look like Morrissey! :) are you a fan of his/the Smiths? Secondly I question what you said being true about lemora: a child's tale's film prints being lost and thus it not being able to be remastered because I watched it in HD good video quality a few years ago.
@@lukejbarnett1 This came from Synapse who were supposed do a Lemora blu-ray. All those HD files floating around are upscaled from the standard def release and not actual scans from any film materials.

Salma Hayek's scene in From Dusk til Dawn. Need I say more? The movie sucked, lol. Campy
I like daybreakers too 👍
Let the Right One In . The original one 2008 . Super good .
@@jasons1148 that is great. Also related to another top 10 list I did, it also had a fantastic dummy drop.
Both were pretty good, but yeah, the original was better
Great list!
Video leans more towards a “Top 10 vampire films youve never heard of” title. Although I thought Rabid was a zombie film
It’s an armpit stinger movie

Dr Sleep (2019) is a vampire film when you think about it.
