  • In this video, I demonstrate how I fixed my sagging sofa the easy way.
Here is a more difficult way to do this if you're looking for a challenge.

BRILLIANT! Our sagging sofa doesn't share your sofa's construction, but this gives me hope! yours is the first vid qued up for this problem--maybe I'll get lucky as I keep watching others. TY!

Absolutely brilliant. My main complaint about almost all sofas is that they sag over time like this. I will probably be doing this this weekend! Thank you

That was brilliant, its along the lines of what i was thinking, turning it upside down and inspecting what can be done, but watching your video has given me the confidence to go ahead and improvise

I was hoping I just had a serpentine spring that became detached from the wood frame but no luck. Like you, I have the webbing. One thing I noticed unlike yours was that semi circular piece of foam in the middle there, was just sitting in the bottom, so I will put that back. I also noticed that I have one piece of partially torn elastic webbing, and I'll figure out something to pull that back together. But, that's not the problem. I'm going to go with something like you did and the slats, IMO are required and NOT JUST the webbing. I suggest to anyone else starting this NOT to look at this like it is an overwhelming project; it isn't. It is just fussy but you will spend far less money DIY. Thanks. This really helped.

I have Natuzzi leather couches and the same thing happened and the guy came out and what he did he Stuff foam in front of the webbing and it worked good for a while but the phone flattened out again but now I know how to do it so I'm going to go to the phone factory and get some foam and and fix it my desk skirt has a zipper on it but I like your idea when the struts are the slits and the Jim foam I might use that too so anyways thanks good video you go girl
