There is a leg rest on Air Canada premium economy but not if you have the bulkhead seats. This is because the leg rest is attached to the seat in front of you.
air canada's headrest is adjustable, only bulkhead rows don't have foot rest and the screen is on the seat in front of you if you are not bulkhead. and i know this just from watching video's btw.
Great video. I booked premium economy on a Singapore-Vancouver flight in December and I chose the bulkhead seats. Is there a reason why you couldn't keep the seats reclined during the whole flight except the seat at the back?
Thanks! The recline of these premium economy seats is quite deep, which can be somewhat bothersome for the passenger sitting behind (especially during meal times for example). Nevertheless, the legroom is quite good. Have a great flight! :)
Where did you take the video from at YVR (Vancouver International Airport) at the 4:58 mark on your video? I live here & have never seen this part of the Airport? Is this an outdoor viewing area?
@@elitutucanphillopphen1989 Thanks for the reply. I didn't even catch your text it was Geneva! That is why I questioned you where this was at Vancouver International. Next time I'll pay more attention!
The wife and I fly direct from YYZ to Spain and back on the 787 and 777... We have the last row of Premium Economy for both flights. Looking forward to it as it seems we'll be alright.
Thanks for this great video! I'm currently booking a flight to Asia in the fall and it seems my options for going are the B777-300ER and return will be the B787-9. I have long legs and need to stretch out so thinking of booking the bulkhead in premium economy (thinking 12K so I have the wall/window to lean on as well) for the flight home on the 787. I know there's no leg rest but thinking once we take off and the seatbelt sign turns off I can put my carry on in front of me on the ground and use that as a leg rest... did you find the proximity to the bathrooms annoying?
I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the video. The B777 I was on, premium economy was located between economy and business so there weren't any bathrooms right next to the premium economy seats (although there are different cabin variants of the B777). Whereas on the B787, the area around the bathrooms wasn't crowded because it was only for premium economy and business class passengers. Have a good trip to Asia :)
Head rest is completely adjustable
The headrest is 100% adjustable. I’ve been in those seats 25 times and always adjusted the headrest.
Headrest is adjustable and footrest on second, third row.

Yes there is a foot rest. In the video, I mentioned the fact that there is no leg rest.

Hi, this video of the Air Canada B787-9 was actually taken at Geneva International Airport in Switzerland.

Does the last row offer the same degree of recline as the others in this class? It doesn’t hit the wall at the back? Thanks!
THE wife? She's a person, not an object!
