Twenty years ago, 95% of ACs routes were N. America, Tokyo, and Europe. It so nice to see such a great expansion of routes. Even many more to new venues in Europe!
You should see their summer operation in Europe, it’s very interesting! I’m currently in Zagreb, Croatia and saw an Air Transat A330 parked at a gate. Glad to see how Canadians are traveling around!
Just flew the 777-300er AC to Frankfurt and back from Paris. Enjoyed both flights as you did and food/service/departures right on time, even arrived back to YYZ from CDG 30 mins early yesterday. We did carry on and always will. Decent flight and will fly AC again as a happy customer.

Domestic A320 seats are better. My last 777 Premium Economy flight was great, except for the jerk in front of me who insisted on reclining his seat during meal service. He even gave the flight director a hard time when asked to do so.

Tiny little plane, almost seems like you're in the cockpit. Thank you for the advice about not eating too much before an Emirates First Class trip - I tried most of everything but could not eat for another day after that 😅🤤. hi. Alex , well AC for me did turn out well i flew from delhi to vvc on their 787-9 . the IFE was great and food was wayyyy! better as indian foods hits good . and snacks? not much chioces in premium econmy but was worth it as it was my 1st 10hr + flight
Great review video as always. So how did you miss your original flight to Amsterdam if you don’t mind sharing? Would the food had been better if you stayed in premium economy? Smaller business cabin seats means more economy seats I guess. I’m guessing there’s less lavatories too on that aircraft. Can’t wait for more videos.
I was badly waiting for your new video. I love aviation and your videos. Pls make a long destination in air india after Tata ownership, in business class to USA or London maybe. Thankyou
It took a little longer as I am on holidays but here it is! I’ll do my best to fly a longer flight on AI but can’t promise it will be soon as I’m busy!
Have you ever flown Air Canada to Asia? Just wondering if they are just as good? We have flown to Europe many times with Air Canada and have had wonderful experiences. Next year Korea.
Another great video mate! Glad you had a good trip with AC. Out of interest do you know why the spoilers on the 777 has one that does not rise to the same level as the others? Is it due to the wing curvature/design and therefore to prevent the spoilers fouling on eachother? Thanks in advance and all the best
@@TheLayoverAviation the last time I flew on ts (2 months ago) the seats were tiny (since they use a 3-3-3 config as opposed to 2-4-2) and uncomfortable. cabin was very, very dirty (they didn’t even clean the floor for what appeared to be at least a month) - I’m thinking that just the way that you buy the crew treats/gifts on your flights, I’m gonna buy them a vacuum cleaner
@@TheLayoverAviation I just found out it’s a codeshare flight, our plane is a smartlynx a330 - no ifes, probably terrible legroom, and even worse seats
@@TheLayoverAviation new account, heres my experience our flight yesterday (operated by smartlynx on their a330 with no ifes) was delayed by a few hours before it eventually got cancelled - we got a hotel voucher plus some other ones for food hotel was only booked till around 11am next day and our flight was at 8pm, so air transats very helpful crew (sarcasm btw) did nothing at all about it and instead just told us to "sit at the airport for the rest of the day" - thankfully we could extend our stay the check-in agent wanted to charge us $90cad extra for each checked-in bag - we refused since we paid for the checked bags included with our ticket - she brought her manager and she said "i'll let you go next time" (if it was an actual charge that we had to pay the company wouldnt let it slide (it'd have been $450cad total since we checked in 5 bags), so im guessing she just wanted to keep the money to herself our flight was then delayed till 9:10pm (which was good since we had to eat at a restaurant to finish the vouchers anyways), but it didnt matter since by the time we walked all the way to the other side of the universe to get to our gate they were already nearly done w boarding the seats on board are also terrible if you want to sleep (or even just sit), theyre very narrow and have very little legroom - they also feel very cheap and uncomfortable - ife is also terrible, barely any selection at all they gave a $200cad voucher for our next air transat flight (not happening) as a "goodwill gesture" - it had no ref number or anything lol i found an empty row at a window seat but was moved back since some other ppl boarded last minute and it was their spot (since there was a stranger in the window seat in the row we were in so my mum had to sit in the aisle - bro got a window seat and kept the window blind closed the entire time), so i didnt get to film the takeoff - thankfully he opened it for landing

I agree, please feel free to share some info with the fellow avgeeks here! I’m just blabbing whatever comes up to my mind and I’m sure many would enjoy extra info 🤩
Hi, just a quick question, do you prefer going economy on the emirates A380 or Qatar A380 since im going on a 9 hour flight soon. What would you recommend?
Emirates 100%. Most of them are way newer and have better interiors. Qatar Airways is nice but they made it public that they won’t invest in their A380’s while Emirates does. Have a great flight!
I travel 80% of the time on the most flexible fares precisely because I change plans all the time, so it is likely that this time I just cancelled and rebooked on time. I can’t remember now..
Prima verslag weer.
I have a request for you to fly Air Canada B777 300ER from (Toronto) YYZ to (Dubai) DXB as an experienced traveler like Montreal (YUL) to Brussels (BRU) as you did.
That one I really want to do the problem is the departure timing, as it is in the middle of the night and the sun never rises! So hard to film and stay awake but I know it’s a must, so perhaps I’ll do it in 2024!
😂This showed up on my phone so rewatch😂.Feel kinda guilty seeing the maple leaf. Why kver 5 yrs did not make pancakes made some n drench no sorry rain it with pure m.s.lol😂😂😂😂😂😂.Wkend laughts😂😂😂❤.
The Boeing 777-300ER is the second longest and largest twin-aisle aircraft anyone has flown on (Other than the new Boeing 777-9X). It has 3 engine options; The GE90-115B turbofan jet engines, GE90-94B turbofan jet engines or the Rolls Royce Trent 800 turbofan jet engines. Air Canada is the largest Canadian operator of the Boeing 777-300ER. WestJet does NOT have the Boeing 777-300ER. On WestJet's fleet, they have the Bombardier Q400, Saab 140, Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-800BCF, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Air Canada's fleet has the Bombardier Q400, Bombardier CRJ-700, Bombardier CRJ-800, Bombardier CRJ-900ER, Airbus A220-200, Airbus A220-300, Airbus A319-100, Airbus A320-200, Boeing 737 MAX 8, Airbus A321, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and the Boeing 777-300ER.
@@TheLayoverAviationYou, too. Right now, I will try to find an Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER that's going from Edmonton to Toronto, because I've never been on a Boeing 777-300ER to Toronto or Edmonton before. I go on another flight next year.
You are wrong, The GE90-94B was NEVER a Option for the 777-300ER, it was only for the 777-200ER and the Original 777-200, If you put 94Bs on the -300ER, it wouldn’t rotate that early due to low thrust, It’s like the heavier 777-200LR needed the -110B and -115 as a option. And the 777-9 is longer than the 777-300er and A340-600, this is the list of long planes: 1. 777-9 2. A340-600 3. A350-1000 4. 777-300ER 5. 787-10 6. 747-8

I think I’ve never tried them in Business Class.. I wonder if the beverage selection is equally as impressive!
@@TheLayoverAviation It was not the best service who would have.

hi. Alex , well AC for me did turn out well i flew from delhi to vvc on their 787-9 . the IFE was great and food was wayyyy! better as indian foods hits good . and snacks? not much chioces in premium econmy but was worth it as it was my 1st 10hr + flight
Can't wait for united next❤❤
YES IT’S NEXT!
Air Canada launched Toronto to Brussels past summer and will do again next summer season.
Nice! The more connections the better!
great video. How was air canada customer service. Where they strict with checked baggage
I didn’t check in any baggage. The staff was ok.
This is unrelated, but tomorrow I’m flying on air transats a330 from yyz to Gatwick - not looking forward
Have a lovely flight! Why not looking forward? I wish to try the Air Transat flight from Zagreb to Toronto as I just saw it parked here..
@@TheLayoverAviation new account, heres my experience
our flight yesterday (operated by smartlynx on their a330 with no ifes) was delayed by a few hours before it eventually got cancelled - we got a hotel voucher plus some other ones for food
hotel was only booked till around 11am next day and our flight was at 8pm, so air transats very helpful crew (sarcasm btw) did nothing at all about it and instead just told us to "sit at the airport for the rest of the day" - thankfully we could extend our stay
the check-in agent wanted to charge us $90cad extra for each checked-in bag - we refused since we paid for the checked bags included with our ticket - she brought her manager and she said "i'll let you go next time" (if it was an actual charge that we had to pay the company wouldnt let it slide (it'd have been $450cad total since we checked in 5 bags), so im guessing she just wanted to keep the money to herself
our flight was then delayed till 9:10pm (which was good since we had to eat at a restaurant to finish the vouchers anyways), but it didnt matter since by the time we walked all the way to the other side of the universe to get to our gate they were already nearly done w boarding
the seats on board are also terrible if you want to sleep (or even just sit), theyre very narrow and have very little legroom - they also feel very cheap and uncomfortable - ife is also terrible, barely any selection at all
they gave a $200cad voucher for our next air transat flight (not happening) as a "goodwill gesture" - it had no ref number or anything lol
i found an empty row at a window seat but was moved back since some other ppl boarded last minute and it was their spot (since there was a stranger in the window seat in the row we were in so my mum had to sit in the aisle - bro got a window seat and kept the window blind closed the entire time), so i didnt get to film the takeoff - thankfully he opened it for landing
I like this airline
I’m just curious if your from the UAE or if you moved there for better aviation?
I am Spanish and moved to the UAE for my job. I ended up loving the country and staying there. And the aviation there is the best😁
Ok, Thanks.
Man you think you know a lot and you have to give everyone here a little lesson in aviation. Don't forget that you have also experts among your viewers. 😉
I agree, please feel free to share some info with the fellow avgeeks here! I’m just blabbing whatever comes up to my mind and I’m sure many would enjoy extra info 🤩
@@TheLayoverAviation Allrighty 🤩
What was the second hot meal option?
I wouldn't give up that engine view even for a business class seat, perhaps it's because I have not flown on 77W for enough times😂
I know, I would usually agree but on this occasion I was so tired that I just wanted to sleep.. But yes, nothing beats the sounds of a GE90! ❤️
En el siguiente vuelo podrás hacer desde vancouver canada en canada air boeing 777 300 a seoul korea 🇨🇦🇰🇷
El siguiente es con United de Houston a Denver!
How much did it end up costing to rebook onto this flight? Was it the airlines fault for missing the flight?
I travel 80% of the time on the most flexible fares precisely because I change plans all the time, so it is likely that this time I just cancelled and rebooked on time. I can’t remember now..
in which app we can see live tracking of flights ?
There is many of them online, Google and check which suits your needs. For me it’s flightradar and flightaware.
@@TheLayoverAviation thank you
Prima verslag weer.

Thai Airways flies to Montreal?
I think it must have been a code share with some airline like Lufthansa.
Which app to use for plane spotting ?
flightradar and flightaware
bro according to me plane spotting in Europe is only fun when too many flights are departing or arriving from USA
There are lots of Asian, Middle Eastern and African airlines too!

How can there be a pilot shortage? Everyone's dream is to be a pilot
It’s not easy and very costly
Many people are retiring and airlines are growing faster then ever. It’s expensive but a good investment!

Captain Natalie's 777-300ER
Love al the great info, thanks a lot! I am sure many will appreciate!
And the 777-9 is longer than the 777-300er and A340-600, this is the list of long planes:
1. 777-9
2. A340-600
3. A350-1000
4. 777-300ER
5. 787-10
6. 747-8
18:22 yeah right, you turned into an alcoholic in 1 flight 😅
