I have a turbo issue on e220 d 2018, turbo not blown as no noise or white smoke just no power and fault codes P004600 boost pressur control flap malfunction along with P00AF72/P0AF73 im assuming its the electric actuator that has malfunctioned as doing the test to move it up and down the unit didnt responed have you come across this issue yet. hi guys! what can you say about the problem of oil or antifreeze getting into the vacuum system om654/656. Is it possible to do something about it proactively? We are told that the problem is in the tandem pump or its valve or cooling pump. what can be done?

You don’t need to remove the engine to replace the turbo, we have videos where we just replace the turbo without removing the engine. This vehicles turbo blew up, so the engine oil went into the turbo pipes, inter cooler and intake manifold. Removing all of these parts separately is more time consuming so we removed the engine completely. In England 2.0 Litre Diesel engines DPF and SCR filters are one piece, you cannot separate them. In other countries, in Europe, the DPF and SCR filters are two pieces so removing the turbo of these vehicles is easier. EGR removal in these vehicles is also easier.
Yes it can be done without removing the engine. Hence we did explain if you watch the video carefully you will understand. We also have a video of removing the turbo without removing the engine. We feel that once the engine is out it is much more easier to work on the car and do the repairs that we did rather than doing all of it on the car.
@@LoriM-je6ix Yes im sure it takes 2 hours to remove turbo, intercooler pipe and intercooler itself... it doesn't have to make sense for you my friend im the one doing the job so as long as it makes sense to me which it does. Thats what matters

It’s more oil going through the vacuum lines through the oil pump. Oil pump and valve can be replaced to prevent any damages within the vacuum system

I have a car with them right now that needs a new engine... Just waiting on an engine. Maybe they will film that.

As a mechanic and have taken the turbo out on this particular 2017 E300 it is unnecessary to remove the engine!!!!

@@enkamotors7012 also it's very very rare for this turbo to go out I work at Mercedes not heard of one turbo going out
