@@smolltaco5667 Is it feasible? No, sadly it's probably not. But DAMN if it wouldn't be cool to have a way to combine the sets into a scale model of the entire Black Mesa Research Facility. I think it would be great if you released instructions, and even the custom models and prints so that people that has the time and tools for the prints and custom parts can build the set
These are exquisite. The one thing I might change is swapping Kleiner and Coomer's placements, but that's ultimately minor. You've done excellent work here.
I like to imagine the box for the resonance cascade diorama wouldn’t show or mention the g-man in any way, he just shows up in the minifig bag without context like he does in the game.
This quality is off the charts, amazing work on these, down to the packaging you nailed everything! This should be a real thing, HL1 aesthetic works amazing with lego.
Keeping custom molds to a minimum makes sense to a certain degree but masks are really iconic. Really hope to see more of this sort of thing, it's a great idea!
I would totally buy every single one of these. I spent so much time watching Lego Half Life stop motions on UA-cam as a kid, these would be an instant yes. Very well done on minifigs, interiors, and layouts. Now if we could just get actual Portal sets to be made…
these are great sets, the only thing i would change is in the Resonance Cascade set. The empty space used for the Valve tribute could be repurposed into the waiting room and blast doors that Gordon goes through to enter the test chamber. They are a very iconic part of the test chamber and especially so when they are blown up after the experiment goes awry, you can even see them in the screenshot you based the build off of. Of course they won't be in the correct spot, but neither is the observation room so there should be no issue.
I mean, LEGO did made a bit of Half-Life. In LEGO Dimensions Portal Story (Exclusive for the Chell Figure) Almost at the Ending. In the Aperture Storage Room, you can see Boxes and stuff and Half of them have 'Black Mesa' Logos on them From Half-Life.
The minifigs are the coolest part of this concept. Perhaps instead of the short SW blaster, the marines could be equipped with the longer blaster with a cylinder 1x1 clipped under it to resemble the grenade launcher
This was absolutely fantastic! It also made me sad that this will never happen... but it was still fantastic!!! I think another good idea for a set would be the railway car(whether it should be roofless to easily see inside or have a roof to attach to the railing is up to choice) with a Scientist Gordon and Gman figure
The scientist in the break room is Magnusson, not Kleiner. We know this because in Half-Life 2 Magnusson references Gordon destroying his microwaved casserole in Half-Life 1. Amazing work either way!
Great. Sorely missing the Black Mesa Transit System tram. With G-Man, Barney (+ a flashlight and a small background piece to stand on with a door) an attachable portal, two Gordon Freeman bodies and an extensible monorail system. Maybe a 88011 train motor if you're feeling fancy.
Please do more of these! This was stupid fun to watch! I loved all the details you put into these sets. Please do another Half-Life or even maybe Portal set!
I think Valve should embrace this. However, instead of going with Lego, they should go for Mold King or some of the other now much better manufacturers of bricks. Especially the triple print with white on top is something Lego simply fails to do (countless sets to prove that statement). Love the color palette and the nice attention to details. I really like this, the effort you put in is really cool. Maybe you can make a series out of this with different video game franchises. May I suggest the last of us next?
10:19 ah hello gordon
I think another good idea for a set would be the railway car(whether it should be roofless to easily see inside or have a roof to attach to the railing is up to choice) with a Scientist Gordon and Gman figure
Custom lego sets are always so cool! I love the box artwork and designs a lot!
this is so insanely cool... i wish i could purchase these bro 😭 also i like you yiiking out at the beginning lol
Ngl its a genius formar, would've gotten millions of views in 2019
I love the health and HEV stations so much
The scientist in the break room is Magnusson, not Kleiner. We know this because in Half-Life 2 Magnusson references Gordon destroying his microwaved casserole in Half-Life 1. Amazing work either way!
I always interpreted that Magnusson was elsewhere and the scientist in the room was just hanging out and went to investigate the explosion.
I never really looked into the half-life games or anything but i like the look of the sets and would spend my money on this
"Aw man, you cut the pony tail :(
Sell out..."

10:59 Bro sounds like he's saying "black messer" (messer is german and translates into knife, so he's saying "black knife" XD)
Bad pronunciation from Hunt down the Freeman
I think the head crabs should use a softer, rubbery material like with Krang from the Lego Ninja Turtles sets. It helps prevent damage.
Sorry to disappoint, but ponytail is canon
Very cool, The resonace cascade by far is the best, very accurate.
Please do more of these! This was stupid fun to watch! I loved all the details you put into these sets. Please do another Half-Life or even maybe Portal set!
This is so beautiful....the attention to the details is insane...
I would love these sets, however I think we may never get them because lego dose not like realistic guns.
Honestly I would love to have even just the Gordon and G-man models. They look so good
I love how you added the Harold, from the Q&A. The attention to detail is absolutely phenomenal.
at 1:53 "these ridiculous ties"
I think Valve should embrace this. However, instead of going with Lego, they should go for Mold King or some of the other now much better manufacturers of bricks. Especially the triple print with white on top is something Lego simply fails to do (countless sets to prove that statement). Love the color palette and the nice attention to details. True Half Life vibe from all sets!
9:57 made me HOWL, i never would have expected that
