Dude, the monkey is totally fine on E10. No issues at all.
I toured Wales a couple of weeks ago on my KTM1290, but while I was there I actually thought I’d have had more fun on my Grom!
Great video!!!
Right on! All bikes are good fun but I agree the grom would be a lot of fun round there!
This takes some stamina…but well done lads…keep ‘em coming👍
Lot of hours on the bikes at full throttle. Cheers for the support!
you're doing an orbit of the UK on Monkeys?! Mate this is the video I didn't know I needed. Absolute. Legends.
Cheers for the love pal. Will keep them coming!
Great them bikes for just Monkeying around 👍
Well done lads .
I think you must be a little bit insane...lol....BUT, you proved the old adage, "the best touring bike is the one in your garage".....Inspirational !!
A men to that! Cheers for the support!
Bloody mega mate…..this will Definately encourage others to get out and tour😁😁
Got to share the monkey love!
Total respect to you both. Looks a lot of fun. Very entertaining. Bang on 😂
Living life!
Absolutely glorious beard
Awesome video guys, great days riding - looking forward to seeing day 2!!!
Thanks for the kind words! Day 3 dropping soon!
What an epic day One, great filming, well done! 👍 👏
Many thanks! 🙏🏻
Fantastic lads, can’t wait for the rest of the trip, subbed👍🏻
Cheers for the kind comment and sub!
Those loud cans are going to get really annoying after a while. Trust me.
WHAT? Haha.
you don’t want to be the one at the back 😂
@@carbonairpitbikes as a 21 Y.O rider I agree, loud exhausts on low cc screams "I am 🏳️🌈" to me lmao
Just stumbled across this video .. hooked before I go to work . Have a blast gents . Great video . Safe travels 🐒
Reminds of that little bike on dumber and dumberer 😂
Great adventure!
wicked choice of bikes hahaha
Rok straps one of the best investments
Am i the only 1 shocked at seeing sarsons vinegar bottle. "i don't get out much". Locked in and looking forward to watching more
Wicked video Ian, also good choice on the nice n spicy nik naks👀 looking forward to the rest of these vlogs!!
More to come!
This is awesome guys 😎😎 watched both vids I actually live in Aberdeen and planning a trip around the coast on my zontes zt125-u1 as I've had it 2 and half yrs now and it's proving the test of time so far touch wood, so I think it needs to prove it's worthiness on a long run after seeing a few of monkeys doing it 👌👌 gave me a confidence boost for sure, take care guys and can't wait for the other vids 😎😎
Fantastic mate love it , I've got 2 groms both modified , ive just returned from Portugal back home in brum should have gone on my aprilla tuono factory but got worried about reliability so I went on my Honda adv 350 absolutely brilliant scooter to tour on , in the picos mountains there was a yellow Honda grom probably 2015 fully loaded with kit and he travelled from Italy , it just goes to show you don't need a big bike to travel big distances, but I did miss my aprillas power ❤ subscribed after this 😉
The Honda groms are awesome, there’s so much you can do on the smaller bikes. We like the big bikes to but do like a challenge! Portugal is on the todo list. The next trip will be Italy and Switzerland next month. Cheers for the support 👍 would love to see your groms!
Great video!
Thanks 🙏🏻 more on the way!
Brill bikes and attitude. Makes a monkey out of the GS, Coffin sized pannier, Klim brigade!
Great vid lads. I had the same issue in Rhayader and visited the same petrol stations as you did! Didn't want to trust the E10 at the Asda/Esso...
awesome bike, ride safe bros.
Thanks, you too!
Always found with the tiny lower powered bikes that aerodynamics were paramount, especially at the higher speeds. A front screen makes a world of difference. No mirrors at all isnt cool. Good luck with the trip.
Amazing how much the wind holds you back. The wind tuck really helps , just not your back! A screen is a good idea too!
Nice ride 👍🏻.... Oil, better to have it and not need it than to need it but not have it 👌🏻
Always a good idea to have some as you say! 👍
Loving this. I’ve just got my monkey and tragically hasn’t left the garage yet. Though I wouldn’t have thought it would be up for such a grand tour. This has changed my thinking. Question being what mods have you done to the performance if any? Would a stocker survive such an adventure?
@@InTheLockerRoom these monkeys are so capable! We have changed intake induction to let them breath and have changed the exhausts to match the flow in and out. Sprockets are something to change top end or acceleration. A stock monkey will always be the most reliable, just nice to unlock a bit of power and good to be heard with the bigger pipes being on such small bikes. Get yours out and find your adventure!!
New sub! Here for the monkey adventures!!!
Thanks for the sub!! More on the way!
Which of the tyres felt better? Great trip!
Love a monkey 😄
There great fun! 🤩
*10:25** Don't be hogging the centre line on right hand bends, get to the left to give a longer view. There's always a bellend coming the other way. You've got restricted view to start with on a bike so low to the ground.*
Cheers for the tips pal, will take them onboard!
Surely e10 won’t hurt when your using it almost straight away??
Fantastic vlog lads just on part 2 now. Sub from me. Ride safe chaps
Cheers for the sub! More dropping soon!
Where did you start this journey from..?
what tyres you boys got fitted?
Red monkey is running the kenda big block 120/70/12F 130/70/12R
Blue monkey is on factory tyres 120/80/12F 130/80/12R
What's the mpg on those thingys .
We ran them out of fuel and got 160 miles out of 1 tank!
What's your average speed
60mph depending on weather! If it was raining and winds then 50mph. 160 miles to a tank. Top speed is about 70 mph.
@@carbonairpitbikeshow much does it cost to fill the tank
@@Theorangeman. they are 5.6 litre tanks
