    I have done the same thing with 1-in webbing aiders... It's a good system, I've now moved on to using an aider that moves with me as I climb so nothing's dangling in the wind. Great job!

    Great video. You should make a video of you making the 3 step aider. I think over engineering is great when it comes to amsteel. It's so light.

    This looks exactly like what I want to use. Any chance you ever had time to make a in depth video on the step construction since you made this video?

    Did you ever end up doing a video on how you made the aider? I’d like to talk more with you on how you built them and get a build list. Thank ya!

      Thanks Chad. I am planning on building another set soon and have planned to a vid of the process. Each 'step' of the aider is an amsteel dogbone that is then fed through the step above it. It's kinda hard to explain, but when I get a little extra cash and some time, I'm gonna order more and do the vid. Thanks for watching!!

      It is the GRIPR from Genesis 3D Printing. I did a video in it and my sling pack. Look on my channel and check it out! Thanks for your input.

    Good video! I have a few questions...Any reason why you don’t just leave the aiders attached? Have you tried that and see if they would fit in the Gripr or even the wild edge bag with the aiders attached? Also, what about just using one aider and keep carrying up with you as you go up, like the 5 step aider you used before? Lastly, what makes this system less “sketchy” than the 5 step aider you used before? Thanks!

    • @redlineoutdooradventures4863
      @redlineoutdooradventures4863  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks, dude. I think there would be too many chances for tangles if they were permanently attached. I had some one-step aiders that were permanent once and they would get hung up every now and then when taking them out of the bag. A moveable aider would have to have two hooks and some way to keep them spread apart or they would possibly slip from one side to the other. To me, the other aider was ‘sketchy’ because of the single hook and the length made it want to kick out from time to time. I’m sure I will come up with something else in the future, but for now, I really like this system.

      I use a GRIPR from Genesis 3D Printing for the stepps and a versa-hanger from the same place to hang them from my saddle.

    • @redlineoutdooradventures4863
      @redlineoutdooradventures4863  3 роки тому

      I use three with aiders then the fourth for the perch. That puts me between 19-20' comfortably. I did talk about one hunt that I put the perch on the third step but usually on the fourth and it is around 20" above the 3rd.
