As a kid growing up, if I had EVER said anything so disrespectful to an older man, it wouldn't have mattered if I was in the right or in the wrong, I would have been punished on the spot, then made to apologize, then suffered more consequences once home. This 'father' trying to start something with a man old enough to be HIS father tells you everything you need to know here.

Fuck around and find out end up shot these days wasn't there and don't know what happen but people need to teach these young ones how to act and be respectful. That's said a dad or mom should stick up for their kids as well. Or bad shit can happen to good kids

I remember growing up in the early 90s, I would fish a marina almost every single day. I admit, I climbed onto a few boats that didn't belong to me to get a crack at a few nice spots or lilly pads. Every single time I did that, I knew I was being a GAMBLER. If I was caught, my ass was in the wrong, and I was RUNNIN'.
That this kid got caught, stuck around, and then had daddy try to save him is absolutely hilarious. That kid def gets beat up in school without big pappi

There is a very true saying.. The two best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it! Ha ha It got more intense that it took the family fun out of it. One time I hooked our boat and was having my petite wife start to pull the boat up the ramp and a tool like baldly was all upset at everyone then backed in his big speedboat zig zagging between trucks and their boats at a high speed and it scared the hell out of her and others! He yelled at our jeep and at her and I and 2 other very pissed of guys confronted him. He backed down as his now over weight once was pretty angry wife mouthed off.. Classic...he told her to shut up.. One guy was going to break his nose because he endangered his 2 kids.. We had a nice 18' Reinell family speed boat.. It was a lot of great family fun when out on the water

I’m sure I’d end up in jail but if the guy first asked him to get off his property and he didn’t, I think escorting him but the back of his shirt is an acceptable solution. When his poor excuse of a father showed up I calmly explain that I saw 2 options escort him off or call the cops and give his kid a criminal record. I chose the option that wouldn’t give him the record and in the long run is better for the kid. Either way his lack of correct upbringing is why the situation occurred and the father should be ashamed.

I was able to pick up his knife and told him to bring back his father and I would return the knife. The kid comes back with the police ! I explained the situation to the officer and they kid started yelling at the cop, "uncle Bill, tell him I'm allowed." The cop started to tell me the kid could crab there and I cut him short. I pay for this slip and it's my property ! With that said, the cop told his nephew to find another spot.

Don't know if the kid got touched, but he is a major smart alec. If it was my Dad, and he found out I was lying about anyone touching me, and I smart mouthed like that- he would have touched me himself. Kids these days have little or no respect for elders.

The kids dad is the reason he acts that way, you can tell the way he was talking and acting in front of his dad. Entitled friggin spoiled brats these days. If I acted like that as a kid I don’t care who’s around my dad would have tuned me up right there in front of everyone. Along with every other parent when I was growing up. Kids were raised to respect others and if a kid would talk to someone like this brat did, cussing and stuff like that he was liable to get smacked around by whoever was standing there and seen it

When I was a kid, if someone told me to leave their private property, I would have apologized and left. And if I didn't and the land owner grabbed me by the neck and escorted me off, my parents would have thanked him, and then kicked my ass right in front of him and made me apologize to him on the spot.
I would have never talked to an adult like that when I was a kid, my parents would have kicked my ass.

If I ever caused a scene like this punk kid did, My dad would have told me to shut my mouth and go sit in the truck, with an "I will deal with you later" at the end. I know exactly what that means and it's never good. We grew up having respect for our elders. I stood up to my Dad only 1 time and got smacked good, never did that again.

Part of being a parent is knowing when your kid is full of 💩. If that kid had been attacked he’d be a lot more freaked out. He’s clearly a little turd that’s just used to doing what he wants and dad co-signs his BS

I go to boat ramps all the time but I'm just launching my kayak.. I see fights all the time.. it's like everybody just instantly hates everyone pulling into the ramp. Like everyone is just getting in everyone else's way ..

Growing up in my neighborhood it was acceptable for any adult to beat any kids a** if they were acting the fool. Not saying it's right, just saying that's how it was. 70s were different times.

Looks like father and son have a routine for stealing things off peoples boats. If the child gets caught, he claims assault and father rushes in like a phony hero playing the victim. They both need to go to jail.

Kid with zero respect for others escalated this; parenting fail. Dad is the problem…..and frankly, kids with these attitudes are more and more common these days.
