    Good morning, thank you for posting these videos and sharing your knowledge. I have a question: What size are the inlet and outlet of the manifold and what type of adapter (reducer?) you use to connect to the supply and return. Second, If I were to build the manifold myself (pretty expensive I would say), what pipe diameter is the horizontal run? Thank you n advance for your time.

    Do you have a video showing the DHW side? Do you need a second expansion tank for that?

      We don’t but we can do one soon. We don’t use an expansion tank no

    I am a plumber I think your work looks great so far. One question about the exhaust and intake does the PVC connect all the way to the Navien or is there a transition fitting that I can't see

      It has a rubber gasket that the pipe slides into.

    It looks like all the main supply and return piping is 3/4". I'm planning on using the factory primary loop. I think it's 1" does that matter?

      It’s all about sizing it according to the space you’re heating. This heating space wasn’t very big so 3:4 was enough.

    Where is the plug-in? Why are the walls shinny? Is the system for heating bathroom floors or for heating the entire house?

    • @ThePlumbingGurus
      @ThePlumbingGurus  9 місяців тому

      The electrician still has to install a plug. Haha the builder wanted to paint the walls to make the mechanical room look good.
      This heating system is only heating the basement.

    So there’s no way to isolate and service the boiler?

    • @ThePlumbingGurus
      @ThePlumbingGurus  8 місяців тому

      We use the drain on the valve to drain the system because it’s such a small system
