You should try the neo series of keyboards. They’re cheap (for an aluminum custom board at $100-150) and sound absolutely amazing, they come with a ton of plate options and look perfect for a first time builder with their magnetic connectors and screw less cases.
the best part actually is that it's also VIA/QMK compatible...only Keychron is the other well known brand that can support VIA and QMK at that pricepoint
Yellow switches are linear, which means that the feel is smooth and consistent throughout the press (no tactile feedback) - This is prefered for gaming, in general. Brown switches have a tactile "bumb", which means that the switch will feel like a button that resists a little bit before being fully pressed. These are less used for gaming (but are still good) and tend to be used for typing only. This is only a matter of preference. I personally use tactile Brown switches for both gaming and typing and I can assure you that they work just fine for both purposes. You can listen to sound tests on youtube, since different types of switches usually sound different. Hope I could help !
Quite cool but It costs 100$, and you have to pay extra if you want to switch to a different top case which is 25$ for a PC top and 59$ for an Alu top then nah… too overpriced for me
Be honest with me here I know you got so many keyboards you don’t know what to do with um. SO would you even notice if one got sent to some guy in Nebraska?
I wanted to have a keyboard like that, they look good, I bought one but it was broken, I lost my 200 reais, now imagine a 12 year old child sad because he lost 200 reais for nothing on the keyboard :(
My keyboard idk how ppl aren’t talking abt this but it’s a 2500 Thai baht keyboard that is hot swap and can change case like this one it may not have a metal plate it may be made out of plastic plastic still feels nice btw it still sounds nice😅
You should review more 100% keyboards. I just reviewed a 70% keyboard for Amazon. It had a num-pad and arrow keys, but no 3x3 key area to include Home, End, etc. I had no idea how often I pressed home and end, and that keyboard made me feel like I was missing a limb.
